Alesa's POV

Me and the girls are getting dresses today. We went to different stores finding the perfect dresses for prom.

"Ooh! I want this! No this! No this! Gah! Too much choices!" Unica groaned

Unica had a bundle of dresses in her hands, I just got a light blue dress that reached up to my knees, Shelby got a white dress, that was an inch below her knees, with a gray ribbon dividing the top from the bottom while Jess got.... Nothing

"Girls! I need help! I'm not a girly person and I don't like wearing dresses! I don't know what to choose!" Jess whined

"Ok let's try to find a dress for Jess"

"Haha... That rhymes"

"But I'm already holding so much dresses!"

"Leave them in the cart! We'll try them on later!"

We were looking... And looking... And looking until Unica found the perfect dress. It was a light purple dress with a white belt, it reached her knees.

"Jess try it on! It looks beautiful!" I said. Jess nodded and went in the dressing room.

We all got out and saw each other. We loved our dresses and decided to order them. It will be brought to our houses in 5 days.

After trying on the dresses we went to buy some shoes. I got baby blue flats, Shelby got white flats, Unica got light pink 3 inch heels and Jess got white doll shoes

After 5 hours of buying stuff for prom we headed home

Shelby's POV

I went home and immediately fell on my bed and drifted to sleep.

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I checked the clock and saw the time 3:58am

"Hello?" I managed to say since I was too sleepy to talk

"Hey sweetie can you call max me and his mom have amazing news for you!" She said through the phone and she continued "oh what time is it there?"

"It's 3:58 in the morning" I yawned and got out of bed "I'll call max"

I opened my door and turned the lights on. I sleepily made it to Max's room and knocked on his door. After a few seconds max came out of his room

"What?" He yawned. I can tell he's still sleepy, I put the phone on loud speaker

(P-phone S-Shelby M- Max)

P-"Ok is anyone else in this house? Besides you two?"

S-"Yeah a few kids are sleeping over here"

P-"Oh ok can you guys go somewhere where no one can hear a word were saying? This is pretty much a secret"

S-"Ok we're staying in Max's room"

P-"Ok me, your dad and Max's parents thought about things and............ YOU AND MAX ARE GOING TO HAVE AN ARRANGED MARRIAGE!!!"

M&S-"WHAT?!?!?!?"

M-"MOM YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS RIGHT NOW!!!"

P-"Now now calm down mad max I'm serious we already set up everything"

M-(hangs up the phone, gives the phone to Shelby and stops himself from flipping the table)

S-(runs to her room crying and locks the door)

Third person POV

Shelby was bawling her eyes out in her room until her phone rang again. Her parents were calling her. She didn't answer it, instead she shut down her phone threw it and continued crying until morning. She felt like no one could help her

As for max he was in his room thinking about things when his phone rang. His parents were calling him. He threw his perfectly brand new iPhone across the room (rich kid problems)

Shelby got up and went to school. She didn't want her friends to worry about her so she tried to cheer up. She got to school and saw her friends.

Ross's POV

Shelby looked really down at the moment. I wonder why. We got to school and heard people whispering

"Omg I can't believe they're dating!''
"I can't believe ROSSBY is happening"
"So the rumors were true!"
"Wait it's real!"
"I heard that Ross and Shelby are dating"
"Oh my! Here they come!"

"You guys are dating!?" Jess said surprised. I looked and saw the same girl from the paw-radise. I nudged Shelby and she looked even more in a bad mood

"We are" Shelby said and looked even more upset

"Are you ok shubs? You seem a bit grumpy today" Jess asked

"I'm fine... Just need to calm down a bit" Shelby said and walked away. I looked at the girl from the paw-radise and saw she was gone.

Shelby's POV

Ughhhh! First the arranged marriage and now people think me and Ross are really dating!

I need to cool off...

I went to my favorite spot...

The cherry tree...

I sat in my usual spot reading fanfics when someone called me. It was Tyler (Tyler isn't her ex he is just someone who likes Shelby)

"Hey Shelby" Tyler said

"Leave me alone... I don't want to talk to anyone right now" I scoffed

"I know how you feel... Jason called me a weakling because I wouldn't 'beat Ross up because he stole the girl I liked"

(I am so sorry for making Jason look like a jerk... But let me assure you that there is a reason for that behavior)

"So I guess we're in the same boat"

"Yeah... I guess we are"

Suddenly... My phone rang.... It was Julia

S-"Hello?"

J-"Shelby! Something happened!"

S-"what! What happened"

J-"it's max"

Without knowing, tears ran down my face

S-"I'm coming there right now!"

"I gotta go... Can you do me a favor and tell my friends not to worry about me"

"Ok"

Alesa's POV

It was recess and Shelby hasn't been seen. We were eating when someone approached us

"Um... Shelby told me to tell you that she's fine and you shouldn't worry about her" Tyler said

"What? Where is she?" I asked

"She didn't tell me where she was going... She just told me to tell you that.... Ok I gotta go... My friends don't know about me being here" he said and left

"I'll try calling her cell" I said and started dialing her number

"I'll call Julia" Jess said

The phone started ringing then it was beeping... She hung up... Something's wrong... She never hangs up when I call her

"She didn't answer the phone! Ok something's wrong... Ross try calling her" I commanded and he just nodded

"Not answering" Ross said

"Julia! What happened to Shelby?.... What! What happened to her?..... Ok what hospital is she in?" Hearing the word hospital made us all go wide eyed "ok we're coming there now!"

"Wait don't you and Jin have a record to keep?" Adam asked

"Shelby is in trouble and she's more important than my perfect attendance" Jess and Jin said at the same time

"Aww! come on!" And again

"Seriously!" And again

"We should really do something about this" and again

We headed to the hospital Julia told us and looked for the room her friend was in

"Max Clayton LaPlume " Ross said to the girl in the counter

"Room 208"

"Thank you"

When we got to the elevator Adam asked Ross something

"How do you know his name?"

"Um... IMayOrMayNotHaveBeenStalkingThemWhenTheyWereKidsBecauseILikedShelby"

"Dood! This is legendary"

"Hey! Speak for yourself you've been stalking Alesa since you met her"

"Dood! That was a secret!"

"Haha! Oh my Irene this is just so precious" Jess giggled

"Oh yeah! Barney does it too" Ross added and it still left Jess giggling

"Heys!" Barney scolded

"Why wasn't Jin stalking Jess?" Alesa asked

"Science stuff and inventions" Jin answered

"But Jin, didn't you like Jess since second grade?" Adam asked, smirking, which made Jess go wide eyed

"O-oh look! We're in the second floor!" Jin said, trying to change the topic

We made our way to room 208 when we reached it. I opened it and we saw Shelby on a chair next to the bed. She had her head on the bed.

"Shelby!" I called, making her wake up.

"What happened?" Jess asked

"I don't know... He won't even wake up"

"Can you use that... Magic thingy to bring him back Jess?" Adam asked Jess and she shook her head

"Funny thing is.... I can only use that power when I'm in Phoenix drop"

"Let's take him to Phoenix drop then!" Adam suggested

Jess opened her mouth to speak but the door opened. The doctor and the kids were there. The 7 kids immediately tackled me and the doctor spoke

"There seems to be nothing wrong with him but he doesn't seem to be waking up... Well keep him here until we know what's happening to him.... The only thing that's strange is he got here with only one cut but as hours passed he keeps getting new ones"

"Thank you" I said and the doctor left the room

"Well... Jess Jin! You're smart what's happening!?!?" Adam asked the two

"Wow smartism right there!" Ross joked

"I'm not really sure... Also... I'm not a doctor, ask someone who knows about this" Jess replied

"Well I'm just gonna use my pho- dangit I ran out of battery! Anyone have a charger?" I asked

"Um... We just came from school... We don't bring our chargers" Jess said

"Maybe max has one... Julia can you please pass me Max's bag" Shelby requested

"Sure!" Julia said as she walked to where Max's bag was placed. She grabbed it but something fell out of the bag
