Adam's POV

Pain...

Darkness...

Death...

It was dark...

I couldn't see anything...

But I could see a bright light...

Seeing that filled me with determination

I then woke up...

I was breathing heavily as I saw everyone surrounding me

All the shadow guards were gone

"Jess we did it!" I looked at her but she was on the floor motionless

I saw Alesa and Unica crying so hard

Jin was furious, angry, sad and had mixed emotions

Wait...

She saved me...

No...

But then...

More shadow guards came in.

Jin stood up and used his magic to close the door.

The rest were still trying to wake Jess up.

Heck! So was I

I stood up and grabbed the weapons and laid them in front of us just in case.

"Guys! They're too stro-" Jin called but was stopped by shadow guards getting in

We all grabbed our weapons and started attacking

When...

I could hear someone breathing heavily as she coughed.

I looked behind me to see...

"Jess!" Alesa cried as she hugged her.

Jess then stood up and grabbed her sword.

Jin closed the door and they fought the shadow guards off

After a while we finished

We sat down gasping

"Guys... I know where Shelby is" Jess told us

"Where is she?" I asked

"Adam... I don't think you should go... Go back" she told me

"Why?"

"Your name was in a glass box... She wants you"

I stayed silent

"So?" I asked

"This is the only way for you to be safe"

"Who cares!"

"ADAM I ALREADY LOST SHELBY! I CAN'T LOSE YOU TOO!"

(Skymau shippers going wild right now!)

Her saying that made me freeze

This is how much she cares about me...

I nodded

"I'll bring him back... I'll make sure no one gets him" Scott said as he pulled me up and walked with me

"Come on guys get ready"

I looked back one last time

As they were about to stand up

I heard a thud

I looked back to see Jin on the ground

"Jin!" Jess screamed as she kneeled down beside him

I could tell she was panicking

She had tears in her eyes already

"What happened?" Alesa asked

"He just passed out all of a sudden"

I looked at Jess then at Jin

They were... HOLDING HANDS!

I looked at jin's arm to see a little cut on his finger

I stood up and ran around looking at the floor

"Adam what are you doing?"  Ross asked

I stayed silent and looked around where he stayed when I found it

A pendant...

Similar to all the others...

I grabbed my sword and sliced the pendant

But nothing happened

I hit it again

Nothing...

Again...

No use...

"There's a pendant in here"

"What about Jin?" Jess asked

"We have to leave him... Scott bring him back and check on Shelby too" Adam said

Scott nodded as he grabbed Jin and carried him back to the portal
