Jess's POV

I gripped my sword as a shadow guard (yes a shadow guard) came for me

I hit him and he disappeared in smoke

"Alesa! Unica! Get to high ground as we get in"

More shadow guards came through the door

We all started attacking them

One by one they disappeared to dust

Just then there was a scream

Unica and Alesa were cornered by a few shadow guards.

Cory then ran up and pushed the shadow guards off the edge.

Cory then fell but Jin used magic to make him land slowly

"Cory just stay there and guard the girls"

They were hard to defeat

As we fight more shadow guards came in

"Awww come on!" Adam groaned

Suddenly an ear breaking scream was heard

I looked at that direction to see Ross.

His sword flew out of his hand and shadow guards gripped his arms

Without thinking, I rushed in and attacked them

Ross managed to grab his sword and helped Barney out

I was left to battle them all by myself but...

Jin helped me out

"Hey aphie! Think fast!" He screamed as he threw his sword at my direction.

I grabbed it and attacked some shadow guards.

It wasn't long before I slayed them all

I tried to get to the others but I saw

I froze

It's been years since I've seen him...

He's finally here...

"Jess..."

I could hear faint sounds of people calling me

"Jess!"

"I'm sorry I left"

I looked to my side to see Adam rushing in.

He was holding his sword and without thinking I stood in front of him

We were doing a dramatic anime pose

"Jess that's not him!"

"He's gone!"

"Jess listen to me..."

He put on a smirk and grabbed his sword.

I pushed Adam out of the way and blocked the sword

He pushed me to the ground

Pain rushed to my body

I looked up to see a sword coming straight for me

I closed my eyes waiting for an impact

What's taking so long?

I opened my eyes to see

Adam...

He was hit...

I stood up and saw an imp

I looked at Adam

Tears streamed down my face...

I looked at Alesa who was trying to get to us

I stood up and closed my eyes

I whispered a spell as a bright light covered my body...

"Jess!"

I fell to the ground.

All the shadow guards were gone...

Adam was awake...

I could see everyone kneeling next to me...

I woke up in a white place

I stood up and looked like a younger me...

"Jess!"

"Dad!"

I hugged him as I saw him

"What are you doing here?"

"I don't know"

"You're supposed to stay down there"

"But I don't want to"

"Aphie your friends are waiting for you"

He showed me where Shelby was

They were all in glass cases

Shelby was in the middle

There was one blank case

With the name Adam...

Another one...

With my name on it...

He showed me my friends

They had tears on their eyes

Jin was keeping the doors closed as the others were trying to wake me up.

There was no use...

The guards got in...

They tried to stop them

They managed to hold them off

But even more came

"Aphie you need to go back"
