After a long day fighting some bad pirates, Buggy was exhausted and went to his cabin to rest. He just didn't know Arlong ambushed him. But before Arlong came to his cabin, Buggy woke up to a strange noise. He got up and saw a bright voilet glow circle in his room.

Frowning, he walked towards it feeling confused. He'd seen some weird stuff out here, but this was something else, and especially in his own cabin! He shouldn't have been curios though, because as he got closer to it, suddenly it felt like a whirlwind or a tornado sucking him in. He tried to grab onto something but there wasn't anything to grab a hold of, so he was sucked into the swirling violet light.

Once he disappeared, Arlong broke in and looked for him. He only noticed the portal and he too got sucked in.

Neither of them knew it was a portal, and they certainly wouldn't know how a portal worked. Especially as all portals were different, so luckily for Buggy, Arlong didn't come out in the same exact place as Buggy. However, they were in the same town.

Buggy got up off the ground and dusted himself down "oh, thank the stars I'm still in one piece....wait...." he then looked around "where the hell am I?!"

He noticed the surroundings were strange. Everyone walking passed him wore different clothes, and where on strange devices. Some even talking to no one with an ear piece in their ears. Even the pets didn't run around freely. They were tied up. Strange light structures around him as well.

He began to walk, not knowing where he was going, but he jumped when a metal contraption sped past him. How did he get here? He just couldn't understand what happened or where he could be. Absolutely nothing was familiar to him at all.

"MOVE OUT OF YHE WAY, JACKASS!" A man yelled from inside the metal contraption.

"SCEW YOU, SH*THEAD!!" Buggy yelled back and flipped him off as he sped off into the distance.

Okay. So maybe he should move to the side of the road. He walked along the sidewalk looking for somewhere to go where he could look for answers or ask.

He then came to a flyer that advertised a circus in town. Great! Something normal, hopefully.

He read the information and found what must be the location of the circus. Now all he had to do was find it. After a while walking he got more irritated so when he saw someone approaching he grabbed them by the front of their coat.

"Hey, do you know where this place is and how the hell do I get there?!"

The man was a little freaked out thinking Buggy must be some escaped psychiatric patient or something so he nervously gave him directions.

"Take the next left at the crosswalk—"

"The what now??"

"Uh, you know, the cross walk, where you.... can safely cross the road...."

Buggy looked at him blankly and then he realized, "oh, you mean so you don't get hit by one of those big metal things on wheels?"

"Uh.....yeah.....well, keep walking until you see McDonalds and then Somerton Park is facing there....it's a huge park though so it might take you a while to find."

The man then quickly pulled away and rushed off.

Buggy began walking. What the heck was McDonalds? Maybe a tavern or something.

Buggy then tried to follow the directions. He managed to find this McDonalds he spoke up, because of the big M, and kept going. He finally found the circus tent and quickly went to the front entrance.

"Ruby, darling," a woman's voice said to a small young woman with maroon short hair and bright blue eyes. "You need better posture if you need to be good like your mother."

The young girl sighed. She was already sore from somethings that happened between her and certain member of the group last night. "Yes, mother..."

The older woman walked away, not noticing Buggy strutting in their direction. Once he reached the girl he grabbed her shoulders and turned her around to face him, "hey, I need you to tell me where I am! Because so far, this place is the only familiar thing to me.....even though it's not that much of a big top, but nevermind. Where am I?"

"Uh....you're scaring me...," Ruby shivered.

".....flattery will get you everywhere," Buggy let go of her, "......I'm so sorry if I scared you, but I'm actually kinda sh*tying me pants too right now because I don't know where I am....and all I'm asking for is a little help here, that's all. I'm not going to hurt you."

"...well, you're in Overland Park, Kanas. Where are you from?" Ruby finally spoke.
