"I'm not Ruby.... I'm Lydia..."

Buggy now really was confused, "uh, is it okay if I come in, Lydia?"

"...you won't be...happy...I won't be who you want...me to be..."

"How about you trust me and let me see for myself?" he then opened the door and walked inside.

He noticed her hair gotten shorter and brighter red than normal. Like neon bright. Her hands changed into webbed hands like when she was in her siren form. Her fin ears were not red, but pine green. She even had two pointy teeth on each side of her mouth. Her legs were even gone was a bright red tail. She also was crying because she didn't to now why she was different.

".....baby, you do still know me, right?" He held her gently, "I know this is weird and scary, but.....I still want you and love you. That won't change. Cross my heart."

"...b-Buggy?" She looked up at him when he knelt down. She then threw her arms around him and broke down. "Arlong....he..."

"Arlong?! What about Arlong?"

"He forced me into marriage...I'm married to him...," she didn't know why she was saying this, but all she could remember was her childhood, her and Buggy were best friends and hung out one summer. When she turned 16 she was taken from Arlong and they got married for a year. Now the last thing she remembered, Buggy saved her from him.

"......well, out here in the east blue, a marriage contract is dissolved if you commit adultery, and we've made love, so you're free."

"When? You just saved me from him..."

"Uh, quite a few times actually....," he didn't know what to say. She clearly wasn't Ruby anymore. He'd made love to her. Not Lydia.

".....actually, maybe it was just a fever dream that I had. Because I've always wanted to."

"...well...I feel I always had feelings for you, since we were kids. And you promised you would come back and have me as your first mate."

Buggy smiled, "well, you can be my first mate. And.....I have strong feelings for you too," he held her face and kissed her softly, "and if you let me make love to you, Lydia....then you won't be married to Arlong anymore."

"...," Ruby...well Lydia looked up at him tearing up happily. She wrapped her arms around his neck, "please save me my captain. Please?"

Buggy nodded and hugged her back, "I will....I'll save you. He then picked her up in his arms and carried her to his cabin.

He carried her bridal style to his bedroom. Once inside he shut the door.

The whole night they both made love together. You probably wonder what happened to Ruby. Well if a real person stayed too long in a fictional world they become fictional themselves. So Ruby became a new person. Now she forgot her past life sadly. And has no memory of it. Which was probably for the best for the verbal abuse from her mother, the physical abuse from her ex, and feeling left out. But she had found true love now. And it was her favorite clown character.
