He goes to karaoke with Jihua all the time, but he sounds like a dying chicken.
Jihua on the other hand has a voice like a siren. People linger outside the karaoke booth for ages just so they can hear him sing. He gets free cocktails from people all the time, and the people that own the place give him free stuff because he boosts business.
But while Wangji can't sing to save his life.... Boy, can this kid rap.
And I mean spit fire. If he was in a rap battle with Eminem, HE WOULD WIN. HE WOULD MOP THE FLOOR WITH EMINEM! He can sing Rap God at two times speed, and he can learn any rap song in one day.
Which is why he's a favourite at the karaoke bar as well, and he'll hype up the entire establishment. He made the bar TikTok famous because he once got so drunk, he hacked into the karaoke machine to make the songs go faster, so he could rap faster. When Jihua and Wangji duet, they usually sing Eminem songs that are collabs. So, Jihua will sing Rihanna's and Dido's parts, while Wangji will rap.
When Lana Del Ray did a song with Quavo, everyone just KNEW that they would sing that at karaoke.
In conclusion, they are the best karaoke pair ever and the whole bar loves them.
