Ray was 9. His parents were never around to comfort him. Mama Words was always his favourite but Mama Lae was amazing as well. But no one came. He cried and cried but no one ever came. The only one who would talk to him was his 10 year old brother, Jack. He had a 6 year old brother, Blue, but rarely got to see him as he was the favourite child and was always with either of our mothers. Although Jack could annoy him, It was the fact that he and Jack were the only ones that hadn't developed their powers, that scared him to the point of running away from the Ravenwood Mansion.

Ray was now 13. Life on the cold damp streets was hard, but not unbearable. He had tried to forget about his previous life. Dreams always came though, reminding him of the sadness he once felt. He had recently heard tell of a new Ravenwood with the ability to manipulate fire. He heavily suspected it was Jack but truly had no idea. As for Blue he could only hope he had learnt his power unlike his older brother. Ray yearned to learn his power but knew it wasn't going to happen.

Ray just turned 17 and had stumbled across a beach at the far end of town by the coast. It took him back to when he and Jack would sneak out and play games in the sand. He suddenly felt a longing for the ocean and knew it was where he belonged. His urge to go out there was too great so he stole a small boat and sailed away. Later he realised how much of an idiot he'd been. He should have stayed. And just like that the boat changed coarse going back towards shore. Ray was stunned. He thought it was his imagination tricking him. So he Reyes to make the boat go a different direction and the wind obeyed instantly, surprising him.
"This is gonna be fun" he muttered smiling. He had discovered his power.

Ray had entered adulthood and was now 21. He had learnt many things while at sea, only returning twice. He had learnt new abilities, to breathe underwater, to swim faster than ever before and even to cause a thunderstorm. He had managed few times to bend the waters mass to his will but knew it was possible. He was never bored. He had had some interesting conversations with the fish beneath his old boat. Many strange conversations too. The first time Ray had went back he had met Cinna, who he had loved the moment he met him. He stayed a year before going. They had adopted a child, whom they called Lad. But Cinna also knew Rays secret and swore to keep it that way until he got back from the ocean as he needed to depart once more, to learn the full extent of his powers.
Ray had mastered himself and was now 24, and thinking about going back home, to the Ravenwood mansion. He had went home once more since last seeing Cinna. Things had not gone well and they had argued a lot, and thought it best to divorce. Although not happy with the decision, he knew it had to happen. Soon after he went back to sea, not knowing what to do. Jack and Blue and their parents had been haunting his mind for a long time and his decision was made. He would reunite with his family.
He made the wind take his boat there as fast as possible thinking about what would happen.
He got to the beach in less than an hour and ran to the mansion the fastest route possible, Not caring what attention he drew to himself.
He just wanted to see his brothers and parents again.

He saw the brooding building basking in the sunlight's glow. He knocked on the door and heard his uncle shout "GO AWAY, NO VISITORS," from inside "Its me," I cried "It's Ray."
He gasped "LAE,"He screamed"WORDS, GET DOWN HERE. ITS RAY.""
He opened the door and bellowed his welcomes as Ray saw Blue and Wisp rushing down the stairs closely followed by their parents. There was crying, laughter, smiling and suddenly had the urge to tell them everything.
And so he did, from discovering his powers to marrying Cinna. He told them everything
And at the end of it was Jacks reaction to the whole thing.
Instead of shouting at me calling me an idiot as I had expected he simply muttered one word
"wow."
And so Ray, now calling himself CoRay has helped his family whenever is needed for a year and will continue to help for years and years to come.
