Homecoming
(Bri's POV)
Luke untied my arms and legs. He helped me to my feet and we limped out the door. Where is Lilla? He lifted me into his truck and hopped in the driver's seat. "Hang on," Luke said as he sped out the driveway. I was finally getting out!
(Luke's POV)
I was sick of Lilla torturing Bri! She was just doing it for sport now. I looked back at Bri and noticed the locket on her neck. I recognized it, she always had it on her, it opened into three parts and each part had a different picture. I didn't know that they were though. We pulled up in a shady spot behind some trees. I picked up Bri and laid her down on the ground. "Can you sit up?" I asked. "Of course I can," she tried to snap at me but her voice was weak. She sat up and I helped her sit against a tree. I pulled some soup I had stashed earlier and gave it to Bri. "Thanks," she whispered suspiciously. "Why are you helping me?" "Because I care about you, Bri. I do. And I know you probably don't and you probably don't believe me and I know it's hard for you to let people in, and I don't blame you. But I do care, Bri," I rambled. She just stared at me and I started to get red. "Luke..." She whispered and reached for her locket. "I do too..." She opened it revealing a picture of her and her family, some girls and a boy which instantly mad me jelly until I saw he was kissing a brunette on the cheek, and a picture of her and me?! We were hugging by a bunch of rocks, I remember that day. We had just finished a project we were working on. It was a painting we did of the sunset. I smiled at the memory. "I treasure it," Bri said. The color returning to her face, a little redder than normal, and her voice was stronger. I ran up and kissed her, she was surprised at first but kissed me back. After a second or two we parted and I hugged her and didn't let go. I do care for her. In fact, I think I love her.
(Brook's POV)
Me and Copper walked into the large gym to see all of my friends had a huge banner up that said, We miss you, Bri! I didn't even knew they cared. But they did, and I was swelling with pride. I looked up and Copper was too. We walked over to Sadie and Rory who were at a table drinking punch. Sadie was in a dress. I could not believe it. "OMG YOU ARE IN A DRESS!!!!" I shouted. "Yea Mom made me," Sadie mumbled. We all laughed as I saw a beautiful girl with long brown hair running toward us. "SILVER!!!!" I screamed and ran toward her. She was wearing a silver dress that came to her ankles. It had blue accents and her hair was braided on her shoulder, and around her neck she wore a silver locket in the shape of a wolf head from Bri. "Brook! Sadie! Rory! I have missed you guys so much!!" She giggled. "Wait, where's Bri?" "Sh-she's gone," I said hugging her tighter. She looked down at me with tear filled eyes. "Wh-what do you mean g-gone?" She whimpered. "She was kidnapped," Sadie hissed. Silver has been Bri's best friend since like ever. They are almost sisters so naturally she took it really bad when she found out. She sat down and Sadie went to get everyone a cookie. "Cookies help everything!" Was her argument. That was when I saw it, the hooded figure smashed through the window and laughed maliciously.
