Axel carried Homura on his back, not minding the blood staining the back of his vest as he raced to get to the infirmary as he stopped and shifted his grip to carry her bridal style as he slammed open the door and laid Homura down as she turned as looked ready to vomit as he grabbed a bucket and saw the amount of blood she vomited.

"Oh god..." He said trying to keep his dinner down before opening the door and asked any students where the nurse was and they shrugged as Jesse came by to see what was going on as he saw Homura bleeding before grabbing some clean towels and pressed on the wound before Homura coughed blood and Jesse wondered why the wound caused her to cough more blood as he found something in there.

"Axel, flashlight!" He called out as Axel pulled out his flashlight and shined it over the wound before something shone back before Jesse nodded as he pulled out the knockout gas as he placed the mask over Homura before pulling out the medical gloves and pulling his sleeves up as he held the scalpel and Axel guided him where and not to cut as Jesse did as Axel told him to.

Soon, Axel used the tweezers and pulled out the shiny stuff which was a second bullet lodged in as the nurse came over and helped take over for them as she told them to wash up as they did before she saw the bullet on the small dish.

"Was this from her?" Ms. Fontaine asked as Jesse nodded and Axel remained silent for the remaining time as they walked to their dorm while Axel sat down on his bed before pulling his wallet out with an old picture of him with two girls, a blonde and a green haired one.

'Kanae...Mel...' He thought before he heard their voices as if they were alive.

"Are you going to help them?" The blonde asked as she turned her guitar string to the right sound as she sat on the couch looking at him while the green haired girl flipped a card over with the picture of the reaper on it before whining.

"Terrible Luck!" She said as she looked over to Axel. "If you don't, terrible things will happen...you do care for them...right?" She asked as she turned her seat to face him as he stood up and shouted at them. "N-No!...I....I don't know..." He stammered before sitting back down with his face in his hands as the two girls looked at each other before looking at Axel.

"Well...I guess...you should continue the mission..." The green haired girl said before dropping the reaper card as it landed upside down next to her before picking it up and looking at it before looking at Axel.

"See you around Axel..." The blonde said as she and the green haired girl left as they closed the door before he looked up and saw that the door was still open even though it was closed for them.

Axel wiped the tears away and placed his duel disk on his belt and placed his deck in his pouch as he took the girl's advice, he should finish the mission he started as he got up and walked to his bag where he pulled out a box with two ticket stubs and a small box of tarot cards as he placed them back inside before walking out of his room and closing the door.

"Onto the mission...I guess..." He said as he thought back to Homura, the sudden disappearance of the raven Jesse had when they first crossed paths and the sudden appearance of a new student Homura Akemi.

They're names were similar and the ribbon they wore was the same...but...the feathers, he found the similar feathers everywhere, even in the grass where he trained and the eyes of the raven was lavender...similar to Homura's eyes...

That's when he knew something was wrong! Homura was the raven all along and he was a jerk to her when they first met and now he had to focus or he would end up dead like he almost did in front of a witch.

Now...he just felt stupid, so stupid for even finding the witch and nearly died in there if Homura hadn't arrived to save him from it.

Jesse stayed by Homura to make sure that she was alright as he gently squeezed her hand in his as she squeezed back to reassure that she was comforting him to help him get through the duels as he smiled at her before leaning over and kissing her on the lips gently before leaning back as she opened her eyes slightly to see him leaving the infirmary as she sat up and checked her wound to only see a scar on the side where her shoulder is as she hissed before getting up and dressed in her uniform.

'Viper, when I find you...I will be the one to place the bullet in you and this time...it'll be your head.' Homura thought coldly as she traced Jesse's steps to follow him as she came across the abandoned lab as she saw the elevator down there as she transformed and pulled a rocket launcher out from her shield and blasted it down to destroy the elevator so she could follow Jesse.

'He's here...' She thought as Jesse and Jaden saw her before she was pulled into Jesse's arms and was told to be quiet as Homura did what he said as she listened but nothing came.

"There's something I have to tell you two, something from a long time ago..." Jesse said as he began to tell his tale of a hunter called Trapper and the stolen cards,  Homura clenched her fists as her black wings came out, tearing the fabric of her outfit as the feathers scattered around which startled both Jesse and Jaden as they looked at her wings.

"Homura..." Jaden spoke as she turned her head away in shame before he reached a hand to her wings and stroked it. "They're beautiful." He said as Homura teared up and smiled before sensing something coming at them as she stopped time and moved them out of the way as she took out her bow and fired the arrow as it froze in the time barrier as it unfroze and struck the ground before she felt herself being pulled back by a force along with the pegasus.

"Looks like Jesse-boy here knows how to choose women." A voice said as she glared at the man before clenching her fists as the feathers twitched from the ground as she clenched her hand hard enough as blood dripped onto the glass cage as the feathers darted to the wire holding them as the glass cage fell and shattered, setting them both free as Homura looked at Trapper with an angry look.

"Those duel spirits are suffering because of your selfish acts and your ways of gathering energy." She said coldly as the duel spirits pushed her back before she could do anything as the duel spirits began to take their revenge on him as they let her walk forward.

Homura moved her hand as the feathers on the ground floated to her as she snapped her fingers.

"Vanish." She said as he screamed when the feathers and duel spirits attacked him at the same time before she began walking away to find Jesse and Jaden as Watapon nuzzled her cheek as a 'thank you' for the revenge against the hunter as Homura ran her hand through the soft pink monster only to see the red puddle getting bigger as she walked away before it could touch her feet.

She began walking back when she saw Jesse looking at her as she felt her heart jump and she was scared that he knew what she did as she looked at him with a hurt expression upon her face as she looked away but only for her to feel Jesse embrace her instead of leaving her.

She felt tears bubbling as they spilled and soak into his shirt as he rubbed her back to reassure her that it was alright, she let the tears roll down as well as crying out the grief she held back so many times for Madoka, the many times she tried to save her.

Homura finished crying as Syrus and the others joined up with them as Jim noticed the wings on her back matching the ones the raven had and he smiled at the two embracing each other before they stopped and noticed the sound of the self-destruct going off.

"We need to get the hell out of here and fast." Homura said as the others agreed and began running while Homura blew up the doors that nearly closed as they nearly reached the one that was closing fast.

Axel stopped the door midway as he saw Homura pull out a rocket launcher from her shield. "Move!" She yelled as she fired every rocket at the door and Axel sucked from the explosion. "C'mon, no one is left behind." Homura said, grabbing him.

Everyone caught their breath as Syria was the first to speak up about her. "How the heck did you do that and what is with the cosplay?!" He freaked as Homura said nothing but looked up to see Viper on a platform going up.

"I guess...this is our final battle..." she said transforming into her uniform and flipping her hair back.
