S Y N O P S I S

　　CHLOE FREEMAN HADN'T ALWAYS BEEN THE VENGEFUL, BLOODTHIRSTY ASSASSIN the world knew as the Ravager. In fact, she'd been completely the opposite — a kind girl who'd never even swat a fly, striving for perfection at college so she could fulfill her dreams of becoming a veterinarian.

　　How she became the Ravager all started on the day she collapsed at college and was diagnosed with an incurable disease. Chloe was dying, and no amount of doctor visits and experimental trials could save her life. Her death was inevitable.

　　Chloe tried to live life to the fullest. But most days, she was too sick to even get out of bed, let alone live her wildest dreams. Her parents did everything they could to make her comfortable, to make sure she had everything she could ever want and took her places she's never been before so she could see the world.

　　Then, one day, Chloe's uncle came knocking on their front door with an opportunity of a lifetime — a chance for things to go back to the way they were.

　　At first, they didn't believe a goddamn word Francis said to them. It all seemed too good to be true. There was no way Chloe could be cured, the doctors had told them that more times than they can remember. But when Francis showed them actual proof that his experiments worked, well, they couldn't agree fast enough.

　　Chloe's bags were packed and she was shipped away with her uncle to a place called the Workshop not long after, where he promised to cure her, to save her from her inevitable death.

　　But her uncle failed to mention just what his experiments entailed. That, in order for her to be cured, Chloe first had to be broken beyond repair as she endured brutal torture in ways she couldn't begin to imagine, all so her dormant mutant genes would activate and cure her disease-ridden body.

　　Fortunately, Chloe had someone that was like her to look after her at the Workshop. Someone that truly cared and wanted to protect her from even her uncle, who Chloe had quickly began to realize wasn't the man she used to remember as a little girl. And that man was Wade Wilson.

　　Eventually, they were able to escape together. And it was on the morning they had risen from the ashes of the Workshop together that the Ravager was born. For Chloe Freeman had vowed to seek vengeance on her uncle Francis for what he did to her, and to everyone else like her — no matter the cost.

A U T H O R　N O T E
This plot has been since my brain since watching the Logan movie. Figured if Logan could have a daughter, then so could Wade. Only, instead of being related, Wade and Chloe have a surrogate father-daughter relationship that is incredibly heartwarming yet hilarious. I love their dynamic so much and can't wait for you all to experience it yourselves!

Also, just to avoid any confusion, yes, Chloe's love interest is, in fact, Peter Parker. Shout-out to my dear friend, Liz, for suggesting him as the love interest. I was having trouble figuring it who to pair her with, asked for help, and Liz immediately responded with Peter Parker. And I simply couldn't pass on the opportunity for some good Deadpool and Spider-Man content, so obviously I went with him.

However, it won't just be any Peter Parker, it'll be a Peter Parker of my own creation with his own backstory, which will be revealed in act two. All I can say about him for right now is that he wasn't born in the same world as Chloe, Peter was accidentally brought there from another universe and then meets Chloe and Wade by chance.
