They arrived at the village and showed Sonic's family the library first. Since it was also Shadow's first real look at the village, he also looked around. While walking around the library, none of them noticed that they were being followed."I think I might enjoy this particular part of the library," shadow mumbled, looking at a dark and secluded corner of the building. "What was that? Amy asked, still slightly miffed from their previous fight. Everyone heard her and stopped to see what would happen. "Hmm, it was nothing, just that I would like that particular spot there," shadow explained uncaringly, pointing to the corner he was referring to. "Hmph, of course you would like that spot, it's dark and alone, perfect for you," Amy spat out. Shadow's eyebrow twitched, but before another fight could start, Sonic sped between them, "guys! Calm down. Amy, stop trying to pick fights," "hmm," "fine," they both replied in unison, one uncaring and the other annoyed.

After showing both Sonic's family and Shadow around the village, they went to the Meh Burger for dinner. They still had no idea that they were being followed. "So what did you think of the village?" Tails asked. "I think it was beautiful," Aleena answered, Sonia and Manic nodding in agreement, "busy and loud," was all shadow said.

While they were eating, Eggman started attacking. "Ho, oh oh oh! You won't beat me this time you annoying blue pin cushion!" Eggman boasted. "We'll see about that Egghead!" Sonic returned, "lets go guys, and kick some robo-butt!"

During the fight, no one noticed some hooded figures watching them. The figures were waiting for the perfect moment to strike. They wanted to torment Sonic and get revenge for all the times he and his friends had stopped them, and they figured to do that was to kidnap the four new additions to the team.

Sonic and Shadow were smashing Eggman's robots with their speed and spin dashes, Amy and Sticks were using their Piko-piko and boomerang respectively, Tails was hacking into the robots systems, Knuckles and Rouge we're punching and kicking respectively, Silver and Blaze were using their respective powers over psychic and fire, Sonia and Manic were using their medallions and Aleena was using a staff. Halfway through, they all got split apart into two groups of six; Amy, Sticks, Blaze, Knuckles, Rouge and Tails in one group, and Sonic, Silver, Shadow, Sonia, Manic and Aleena in the other, with Eggman up above from his eggmobile, watching.

The hooded figures choose that moment to strike. While no one was paying attention, they knocked out their targets one by one with chloroform. The hooded figures had managed to nab only three, though. Because the Heroes had finally regrouped and beaten Eggman. The figures, seeing that they couldn't get the mother without getting caught, fled while they could with the three they already had, not realizing that one of them had dropped and left behind a pair of red sunglasses.

After finally beating Eggman for the billionth time, Aleena, Rouge and Silver all started to freak out. "what are you three panicking about?" Amy asked. "Sonia and Manic are missing!" Aleena cried, "Shadow, too!" Rouge supplied as calmly as a panicked bat could. "I can see why you two would be panicking, but why are you panicking so much, Silver?" Tails questioned.

I am sooooooo, so sorry I haven't updated but I finally have the third villain. It was not suggested by anyone that I can recall. You can try guessing who but I will not tell you if you are right or wrong, but if you are right I will tag you in the next chapter.
