Remnant was once a place of more than just Faunus, Man and Grimm. It use to hold Elves, Dwarfs, Trolls, Orcs, Uruk and other creatures of mystical orgins. In a time long forgotten there was a black Gate. A huge gate that separated evil creatures such as Orcs, Goblins, Uruk, trolls, and more from Man, Faunus, Elf, and Dwarf. Men of Gondor, now known as Vale Were stationed on the Black Gate to watch these creatures. The land in which these creatures lived was known as Mordor. It had fallen into the ocean. One Ranger who served on the Black Gate was known as Tailon. He was the best ranger always the kindest. (I don't know the story line that well for the first game.) He was killed with his family one day by orcs and Uruk who attacked the Black Gate. It was upon his death he met Celebrimbor the creator of the rings of Power. 3 to the elves, 7 the dwarf lords, and 9 to the rulers of men. He at first served as Saurons friend and ring maker. He created them thinking Sauron wanted peace among all creatures but he was deceived just as the ones whom the rings were made for. Sauron only wanted order. His order for he created another ring in secret. He poured his evil soul into the ring. With it he proceeded to control the 9 men who became Wraiths, revenants of their formerselfs. After meeting Celebrmibor Tailon learned he was banished from death (for some reason). Thus they went on a quest to get revenge against Sauron. So Celebrimbor instructed Tailon to go to a mountain of fire and ash to create a new ring of Power free from Saurons influence. With it he raised an Army being known as the bright lord. They were successful to a point and culled most of the Orcs, Trolls, and other creatures to the point of near extinction. After his conquest Celebrimbor disappeared leaving Tailon immortal and living alone in the forest plains of Remnant. Now no one knows where he disappeared too. The only way to know who he is now is by a good ring with blue forgotten language of Elfs on it and a banner with a blue hand on it.

No one pov

At Beacon student sat in Profressors Oobleck taught the Ancient history of Myth. "As the Armies Of Gondor and Rohan claimed victory against the evil forces of Sauron his Tower fell while the land of which was Mordor fell into the ground as water from the ocean claimed it. All that is left today is the mountain of which Sauron created his Ring of Power from. It lays dormant to this day. Aragon king of Gondor led an era of peace and equality between Men and Faunus that lasted for awhile until he died. Today we honor him and those who fought by?" Oobleck looked to the class to see one person raising their hand. "Jaune Arc? Do you know?" (In this Jaune is much better swordsman and is a master marksman due to events that will be explained shortly. Also he has a bow.)

"We light candle in ancient lamps and hang them by the door to symbolize the beacons of Gondor that must be lit to show this it is in danger. That is how Rohan knew that the white city needed help." Jaime said as everyone stared at him confused and thinking he was wrong.

"That is correct Mister Arc. Not many remember. How do you know of that tradition? If you don't mind me asking." Oobleck asked as Jaune looked down.

"I learned it from a man who lives near us. He lights it this time of year and gaves us bread as a gift. I do not know his name but he looks like a Ranger right out of the books. He goes by Ryder." Jaune said looking down. " He taught me everything I knew to get into Beacon."

"Mister Arc please see me with your team after all your classes are done." Oobleck said as Jaune looked scared. "Now onto the era that followed Aragons rein."

Timeskip.

Jaune and his team sat in Ooblecks class after school wondering what happened. "Jaune what did you do?" Nora asked as he shrugged. Then Ozpin walked in with Glynda and Oobleck.

"I don't see this as a proper use of our resources." Glynda announced as she looked at Ozpin.

"We have to make sure. Just to be safe." Oobleck said.

"Jaune could you please tell us about this Ryder?" Ozpin ignored them looking at him.

"What would you like to know?" Jaune asked confused.

"Did he wear a ring? With blue markings that seemed to glow?" Oobleck questioned.

"Yes on his pointer finger." Jaune said before getting startled by Ozpin as he chuckled.

"Would you and your Team escort us to this man's home and ?" Ozpin asked as the rest of Team JNPR sat confused.

"Uh sure I guess." Jaime said as they then were instructed to get there gear and get on a bullhead

Timeskip.

On the bullhead everyone sat in silence as jaune was messing with a bow. Despite wearing it always when in battle he never had a quiver or arrows to shoot from it.

"Jaune I've been meaning to ask." Pyrrha spoke up as she got Jaunes attention. "Why do you carry that bow? You never use it."

"It was a gift from Ryder. He said he'd teach me one day to use it properly but since I hadnt until only recently unlocked my aura he never taught me." Jaune explained. "I learned how to shoot actual arrows but he explained it could do more than just use regular arrows."

"Why would he give you a bow but not give you arrows? That seems silly." Nora spoke up as Ren nodded.

"Its because that bow wasn't designed for man made arrows." Ozpin said as the bullhead landed near the Arc residents which was a large farm. When Team JNPR, Ozpin and Glynda stepped off they were greeted by Jaunes Mom, and Dad. They looked exactly like Jaune only older and one if he was a woman.

"JAUNE!" His mom said rushing to him hugging him with joy.

"Son why didn't you tell us you were coming? We would have told your sisters." His Father said as Jaime was let go.

"Yeah well I didn't know I was coming til we had left." Jaune said a bit embarrassed. "Besides we are actually here for Ryder."

"We have sometime before we need to talk to him." Ozpin insisted.

"Mom, Dad this is my team and a few of my friends." Jaune said as Ren nodded.

"Hello I'm Pyrrha." Pyrrha said with a small wave.

"Hi I'm Nora. You guys look just like Jaune. But older. Also he is our leader. Did you teach him to make pancakes? He is nice. Do yo-" Nora started before having her mouth covered by Ren.

"Li Ren. I apologize for her. She is very hyper." Ren apologized. Everyone went into the house and had biscuits and tea while catching up.

"Why do you need Ryder?"

"Well apparently Ozpin wants to talk to him." Jaune answered as his mom and dad looked at one another.

"Well he should be coming by soon to give us the bread he makes so that may be the best time to talk." His mom said looking at his dad before both nodded.

"Do you 2 know something?" Glynda asked intrigued.

"Its not for us to say but uh... Jaune your mother and I have something for you that we've been deciding when to give it to you. It's part of the reason why Ryder even deals with us. Remember those stories about Mithis Ithil? About the commander and how his army fell there on the frontier?" His Father asked as everyone was confused.

"Yeah?" Jaune nodded still confused.

"Well we are his descendents. Our ancestors were able to recover his Armor after his Daughter and her husband decided to settle down on this land." His Father continued. "We've had it stored in the basement waiting for someone in our family to be worthy to wear the armor of a Gondor commander."

"What does this have to do with Jaune?" Nora asked.

"He is the first of our family to be a true leader. He's written home about whats happened at Beacon and yes we already know he faked his Transcripts, but Ozpin and us talked about it and knew it would be for the best. So we are giving you the armor."

"I'm sorry jaune faked what?" Nora asked bewildered.

"Oh yeah we never told you." Pyrrha said as Nora had her jaw dropped.

"Back to the point Jaune is the most honorable of us. Not to mention who he's been trained by." His mother said as she stood up going to the locked basement. "Take the Armor. Then come up we have more to talk about." Jaune nodded going into the basement to see lit torches lining up to gondor armor.

He grabbed it after in matching his own armor putting it on before coming back up to see everyone talking. A small wolf whistle came from Nora as he chuckled. He didn't notice the blush coming from Pyrrha while his mother and father smiled.

"Now about Ryder." His mother said as a knock came from the door. "Speak of the devil." She got up and opened the door to show Ryder.
