Welp, i finally saw Pacific Rim: Uprising, and let's just say i have some mixed feelings about it. First off the plot was decent and the characters were pretty well done, but my only problem is, what THE FUCK HAPPENED TO RALEIGH!?! I mean they mention him throughout the movie but nobody says what happened to him, and don't even get me started on the fact that him and Mako didn't get together! Second, they threw a shit ton of stuff from PR out the window! And that just angers me beyond belief, like for instance, in the first film they said that only one Jeager could have three pilots if they were related and even so this rarely worked, and then with Bracer Phoenix they just tossed that fact away, but onto the stuff that i liked. First, I actually liked Herman in Uprising, they completely changed his personality to one thats a bit more likeable in all honesty. Second, The new kaiju designs and abilities were pretty cool, and finally, im not gonna lie I love corrupt/possessed Newt, so yeah. Also, i called the whole "the Precursors being in his head" thing way before the movie came out, so yay for me!!

But yeah, it was a decent film, it just didn't give me the same hype feeling i get when i watch the first one, which i honestly prefer over Uprising. So yeah, anyway I'll be over here working on a new PR rp if ya need me, so bye!
