A/N: Yay a story within a story. INCEPTION!!!! Yeah...sooo yeah. I don't know how many parts there will be to this short parter story. Before you start I want to explain why there is a Fullmetal Alchemist thing up there in a SSB fanfic. This is a song I felt that it fits this parter story so it will be there every part. Yes its in japanese so just search up the english lyrics to the song on a different tab. Name of the song is Let It Out and its from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Okay now lets get started.

It has been a week or so ever since Lucas and Mewtwo return for this year's tournament. Sonic ,as always, was sitting underneath a cherry blossom tree on his laptop fixing some glitches in some games for the real world. The hedgehog was startled when his guitar necklace suddenly began to glow brightly. ' A character will come today. One whose betrayal has not been forgiven by the hero and his friends' Sonic heard Darkrai tell him in his head. "A new prophecy, huh? You just don't let me rest huh Darkrai?" Sonic said chuckling. When he had no reply from his legend, his expression then turned serious. ' Betrayal that has not been forgiven? What video game hero has not forgave someone, unless its a villain? If it was why would said villain come to ask forgiveness from his rival?' thought Sonic. The blue blur then closed his laptop and ran back to where the mansion was.

Sonic continued to think as he was running and, unfortunately, crashed into Dreamer....and landed on top of her. "Gah! I-I'm so sorry Dreamer! I should've watched where I was going!" Sonic said as he quickly got up while blushing about fifty shades of red. ( Saw what I did there? XP) " It's fine, hedgehog" Dreamer calmly said as she got up to her paws. " I have to go to talk to Mario and the others about something" Sonic said before racing off in the other direction.

"MARIO!" Sonic yelled bursting through the door, causing some very funny reactions from Mario, Pacman, and Megaman. "WHAT THE FRICK DUDE?!" Megaman yelled obviously pissed. "Sorry guys but, I just got a prophecy from Darkrai." Sonic told them.

The hedgehog then told them the prophecy the Darkrai sent him earlier. Mario then thought very hard about this.

"What character would come to ask for forgiveness if he betrayed them?" Pacman asked. "I have no idea. I think its up to us to find who it is." Sonic guessed.

"Okay so until then, we all must keep an eye out for a character who is not usually here" Mario said. They all nodded and exited the room.

It was almost noon and Sonic still has not seen any character that is not usually here. 'Uhgg. How hard is it to find an unfamiliar character at this place.' thought the tired hedgehog. As he was about to sit down at a coffee table ( because why not XD) he heard the younger smasher (Lucas, Ness, Villager, Toon Link, Dreamer, and Kirby) playing some football (first sport to come to mind). Sonic then turned back to look into the forest in front of him. When he did he saw a jester like creature looking lost. 'Darkrai ,could this be the character that you were talking about' Sonic thought. When he once again got no answer, the blue blur ran up to talk to the jester creature. The jester creature was very startled when Sonic ran up to him. (Wouldn't you?)"Sorry to scare ya, dude." Sonic apologized. "May I ask what is your name and why are you here?"

"My name is Magolor", Said the jester, "and I'm here to say I'm sorry to a certain character."
