I FINALLY thought of a backstory for this AU ((because yes, TLOML is its own seperate AU XD))

How it All Began

As we know, Bendy and the Ink Machine is a horror game in which the protagonist is a man named Henry who must escape an old abandoned cartoon studio while avoiding Bendy, a toon brought to life and corrupted by ink. The game ends by revealing that Henry is trapped in an eternal loop of escaping and arriving at the studio. In the universe of TLOML, Henry must escape the studio three times, each time having a slightly different turn of events. Once he completes each loop, the "The End" reel in Chapter 5 does something different. Instead of forcing an eternal loop, the reel actually sets Henry free - never arriving at the studio again.

Once Bendy realizes the loop is broken, he grows tired of living as a corruption. He figures out a way to fix everything within the studio by creating changes. He learns how to speak and change facial expressions, and then he eventually teaches his fellow ink creatures. Bendy then decides to form his own "kingdom" from the studio and changes his name, for he wishes to not relive the past any longer. He decides to furthermore be known as "Inkus".

Ink Princes

Inkus wants to change for the better. He fixes up his studio and teaches himself how to behave kindly. Things began to go great for him, until he became lonely. Using the Ink Machine, he creates another toon - a Devilette named Becky. Inkus teaches Becky the basics of living while also growing a close bond with her. Inkus and Becky eventually fall in love and have three sons.

The king and queen of the Ink Kingdom name their eldest son Inky, who was to become the next ruler after his father. Their second son, with eyes that wandered around curiously as soon as he left the womb, was named Wander. Their third, a perfect recreation of what Inkus was once meant to be, was named Bendy in honor of his father's once-joyful past - a past before the studio fell into chaos.

The Mystery of Elsewhere

As the three princes grew, so did the changes Inkus had planned. By the time Inky had turned six years old, the Ink Kingdom was free of any threat from the memories of the dreadful past. However, things were not exactly perfect. Although most creatures of the Ink Kingdom praised Inkus and worshipped him for changing the studio for the better, there were some who turned against him. These creatures did not like change, and challenged the king to a fight.

Inkus almost immediately won every time, for he had many experiences with fighting. He hated to fight anyone, especially with his sons knowing him as a kind man. He hated having to banish his subjects to elsewhere, behind a glowing door in which no one knew what awaited on the other side. Inky became overly curious at some point. He decided to explore the mystery of elsewhere.

Blacklight Creatures

Inky ventured off behind the door, a curious young soul. What he had found was amazing. It was a studio, much like his own, except it was different in a special way. The walls, the floors, the ceilings, all glowed a different color. Many, many colors luminated this mysterious studio.

In this colorful studio lived a kingdom of creatures very similar to those of Inky's studio, except they were also bright and colorful, nothing like Inky had ever seen. He runs into the kingdom's prince, a young demon named Neon. Neon and Inky befriend each other, and even convince their parents to meet each other. The two species even looked like each other. It was as if they were twins, the only difference being their color variety.

Poison Ink

Inky and Neon remained friends for most of their childhood. By the age of thirteen, they began to train for their roles as future kings, slowly forgetting about each other each day. Their friendship grew weaker and weaker as the years went by until they had forgotten each other completely. It wasn't until an unexpected visit when Inky was twenty-two years old that he had remembered that Blacklight Creatures were even a thing. A young Blacklight Devilette, not much younger than Inky, had wound up lost inside of the Ink Kingdom.

She was frightened. A bottle of Blacklight ink in hand and a look of pure terror on her face, she refused to accept help from any of the Ink Creatures. Once offered assistance from King Inkus himself, she poured the colorful ink over him and ran desperately. The Blacklight Ink found its way into Inkus' mouth and almost instantly killed him. It was from then on assumed that Blacklight Ink was poisonous.

The Ink-light War

Inky was devastated. With his mother only recently passing away and his father being poisoned, he became king at only 22 years old. Not even a day after being crowned, he wanted revenge on the Blacklight Creatures. He then announced the Ink-light War, a war between his kind and the Blacklight Creatures. The war took place underneath the two studios in a large den.

Neon, the king of the Blacklight Creatures, was not completely prepared. The news was sudden, and he had not fully remembered Inky or the Ink Kingdom. Summer, the same Devilette who had unintentionally killed Inkus, insisted on assisting Neon with the war, quoting that "If one of us goes down, then the other shall stay strong, as we cannot let our sorrows get the best of us." Summer was one of the first Blacklight Creatures to die, losing all of her vibrant colors. From then on, Neon wanted nothing more than to destroy Inky.

The End of the Beginning

The war continued for hours, leaving Neon and his two brothers the last Blacklight Creatures standing. They quickly retreated to their studio, and in doing so discovered a lonesome infant. The child's parents had both been killed in war. Neon knew the child's parents, and he knew that the child's name was Blitz. He decided to take Blitz in as his own.

Inky, Wander, and Bendy returned home unharmed. They decided to block off the door leading to the Blacklight Kingdom and vow to never speak of it again. Kira, Inky's beloved queen, held in her arms a young princess by the name of Krystal. Krystal would grow to become the same curious Inkling that her father once was.

I'm sorry if this is backstory kind of vaguely explained, but there is only so much you can fit into a chapter. I know I didn't explain how Inky met Kira, how important Summer was to Neon, or much about how exactly Inkus taught himself to thrive, but oh well- The only thing that matters is that you know it happened- x.x

I may add or alter some things in the future, but this is what I thought of for now 😅

I know I also never mentioned how Becky died or much about Wander, Bendy, Roam, and Twisty, but oh well! You guys know they exist and what roles they play-
