31 Things to Do During a Blackout (At a house)

Yes. I wrote this during a blackout.

1. Have lots of flashlights on hand.

2. Plan how to survive with no power with your friends or of you have no friends around then plan alone.

3. Play cards if you have any

4. Make emergency candles (I hear you can make them out of household items you most likely have!)

5. Write stories (make sure you have a light so your eyesight doesn't get bad/worse)

6. Panic. Just panic

7. Eat.

8. Be bored. (Trust me. It's boring)

9. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh blackouts are boriiiiiiiiiiiiiiing

10. Prepare a rant about your boredom and/or frustration and rant it to something or someone.

11. If there's still daylight and you've got a bathroom with a window the do your bathroom stuff there.

12. Write a list of things to do during a blackout. (Heeeey that's what I'm doing as I type this!)

13. Tell scary stories.

14. If you have a phone that can watch stuff without wifi. Watch your stuff. Odds are you don't have wifi.

15. Bathe with a bucket o' hot water like a pilgrim! (Like I did)

16. If you're a girl going through *ahem* feminine health cycles do not go on a rampage and kill everyone.

17. Make a pillow fort.

18. Sing a song.

19. Play monopoly

20. Curse your electricity company or the weather. Whichever caused the blackout.

21. Wear your clothes backwards! Your family probably won't notice!

22. Show your patriotism! Sing your country's national anthem!

23. Do your parents speak another language? Let them teach you!

24. Tell that bird that keeps on cawing to SHUT THE HUCK UP

25. Reenact the cute things you did as a little kid to make your parents/parent/guardian go,"Awwwwwwww..."

26. YOUR FLASHLIGHT IS YOUR PARTNER SOLDIERS! YOU LOSE YOUR PARTNER, YOU LOSE YOUR LIFE! PROTECT IT AT ALL COST! ARE YOU WITH ME?! I CAN'T HEAR YOU! ARE! YOU! WITH! ME?! WHOOOOO! GO SOLDIERS GO!

27. Do what you just saw. Pretend to be some sort of military leader and give a rousing speech.

29. Make up a language.

30. Make up a song

31. Rejoice when you have your power and electricity again!

Okay so read this and remember it for when you have a blackout at your house. I'm still having a blackout as of 7:45 PM June 17. It has been 3 hours. WELL BYE! IM POSTING THIS WHEN I GET MAH WIFI.
