Jealously is like a sour candy

It’s bitter and can be very vicious when you come across it

Sometimes I see you two as a pair

Socializing and joking without a care in the world

All coupled up

The little green monster shows up within me

More shade is thrown than a tree can use

The room gets silent

The laughter and jokes becomes a bizarre encounter

Eyes look around and wonder what’s going on

We start chuckling

Life comes back into the room

Everyone around is revived

My friend and I leave the room as we came in

Giggling and joking again
