The dead are not gone,

Not truly

Their bodies might not be here anymore,

But their spirits are with us,

Watching over us

They come when you least expect it,

Or when you need them the most.

But beware, evil lurks around every corner,

Shifting, morphing, hiding behind the guise

Of a tired, restless spirit

I've seen these spirits,

They meant no harm

But then I felt that force,

That energy that had my heart

Screaming "Get out!"

It was only the beginning.

A piano clambered down,

Dark chants made me cry

And pray for protection, for

Peace of mind

I've seen these spirits,

Some are good, some mean harm

But They are protecting me.

The eclipses have passed,

And though we're still not okay,

I know they'll help me find my way.

It's been a while since I've felt

A presence, but I know I'm not alone.
