Peyton was fixing her hair as she looked at the time on her phone and saw that the basketball game at Gotham Square Garden was gonna happen soon. She put her phone in her pockets and left her room.

She began walking down the stairs and was waiting for the others until Royce heard the sound of lightning along with heavy rain pouring through the whole city as another sound of thunder was heard.

Suddenly Peyton heard her friends walking down the stairs as they all spoke to each other.

Jessica: Alright! We're ready now!

Tay: [Looks at the window] Yikes! Heavy rain is happening.

Mariah: Yeah. Let's be careful when we're driving on the road.

Peyton: I agree on that. Come on, let's get going.

The group left the house and entered the car as they started the car and began driving towards the stadium while talking to each other.

Meanwhile Alex was at the Manor as he was fixing his jacket and looked at himself in the mirror.

Alex didn't wanted to go to the game but Joel wanted him to enjoy his life and Alex agreed on what he said. He sighed to himself and continued looking at himself in the mirror until he heard a cough as he looked to the left and saw Joel.

Alex: I know Joel. Time for swinging bachelor Alex Ambrose to put on the party hat.

Joel: Rest assured Alex. You're never far from the bat cave with the modern miracle of the Bat Wave. [Shows Alex's phone]

Two hours later

Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane was originally owned by Amadeus Arkham and named after his late mother. While originally containing only the Arkham Mansion and the Botanical Gardens, the institution gradually developed and became a medical facility and criminal penitentiary that was dedicated to helping those who were deemed criminally insane and afflicted with extreme mental illnesses.

Amadeus Arkham originally founded Arkham Asylum in the memory of his mother, who he euthanized as treatment for dementia. The historic facility was built on the grounds of the Arkham family's historic mansion on the outskirts of Gotham City on the secluded Arkham Island.

Amadeus personally treated its first inmate Martin Hawkins, who had killed his wife and daughter. After being claimed sane enough to walk free, Martin was due to be released until he murdered Amadeus's secretary. At some point Martin also went to the Botanical Gardens on the island and desecrated the statue raised by Amadeus in memory of his family.

These many tragedies pushed Amadeus over the edge, and during a session of electroshock therapy he murdered Martin. Amadeus was later ruled insane and incarcerated in his own asylum where he died. His gravestone was located next to the Botanical Gardens.

Over the years, the asylum gradually developed with new facilities such as the Penitentiary being established. Soon the facility was voted as the number one psychiatric and rehabilitation facility in the state.

It developed to become a premium five hundred bed psychiatric facility holding a range of individuals deemed insane. The facility also offered internships to University Students to help them gain valuable experience for a career. Arkham Asylum's own website called ArkhamCare was the online public face of the facility that was designed to inform potential patients about the institution.

There was a doctor walking through the hallways as he was drinking some coffee and looked at the names and cases of certain patients on his clipboard.

He looked through the window and saw lightning flashing in the sky as heavy rain continued to pour heavily on the city.

Soon he began walking past some cell doors until the doctor heard a strange sound coming from one of the cells as he was confused. The doctor looked through the clipboard and saw that the cell had no patient.

The doctor's blood ran cold and chills began running down his spine. He opened the cell door and it was complete darkness until he noticed someone standing in the corner, staring at him.

The doctor was shocked and felt more chills as he said something.

Doctor: What the? . . . . . . What are you doing here?

?????: I was feeling a bit screw loose, so I checked myself in.

Doctor:. . . . . . . Who are you?

Suddenly the doctor's screams were heard through the hallway and then it was abrupted silence. Soon what followed was all the inmates cells were opened as they were running around the asylum.

Meanwhile at the police department. Joseph and Colby were by the office talking to each other who the batman could be. They continued looking through the case file until they received an alert on their computer and saw what it was.

Joseph: Just in, an unknown perp released all patients from the east wing of Arkham Asylum.

Colby: What? That's crazy!

Joseph: Crazy enough to lure a Bat?

Colby had a doubt about what Joseph said and eventually both of them left the office and soon left the police station as they got inside the car and began driving towards the asylum.

Meanwhile at Gotham Square Garden, Alex was watching the game while there were some civilians talking to him.

Soon Ambrose heard his phone ringing as he pulled it out and saw the batwave alerting him of a crime in progress as he said something to himself.

Alex: Arkham?

He got up from his seat and began making his way out of the stadium until Ambrose noticed someone as he saw who it was.

Peyton along Jessica, Tay and Mariah were watching the game while talking to each other as all of them had huge smiles on their faces.

Alex was staring at them before he began making his way out of the arena.

Meanwhile Joel was at the manor as he was watching the game and he was listening to the commentary.

Commentator: And among Gotham notables, we welcome the young CEO of Hope Industries, Alex Ambrose.

The cameras tried to show Alex but he wasn't there as Joel was shocked and the commentator said something.

Commentator: Uh. . . . .Grabbing a hotdog. No doubt.

Joel: No doubt.

Meanwhile Alex was at the alleyway as he used his phone to call in the batmobile and began looking around. Suddenly he saw the vehicle driving towards him and. . . . .

Alex: Gotta work on those stops.

He opened the trunk and put his suit on before he put his mask on and got inside the batmobile as he began driving towards the asylum.

Meanwhile there were some police cars driving towards the asylum as they noticed some escaped patients walking around until they stopped the car. The cops were gonna stop the inmates until they noticed something on the bridge.

There was a giant jack in the box on the bridge and the cops were confused and looked at each other before looking back at the box. However the music from the jack in the box stopped and silence was heard until. . . . .

The cops stood back as the explosion completely destroyed the bridge and smoke began to rise in the sky. Alex who was standing by the rooftops saw what happened and said something to himself.

Alex: That was theatrical.

Meanwhile Alex was at the asylum as he was looking around until he heard laughter echoing through the hallway.

He began moving through the hallways and saw someone standing still as Alex continued walking towards him.

He noticed the doctor wasn't moving at all as Alex slowly turned him around and when he saw the doctor's face, Ambrose's eyes were widen in shock.

The doctor's eyes were widen and he had a huge smile carved on his face as he wasn't moving at all. Ambrose stood back as he once again heard laughter around the asylum until he heard someone speaking to him.

????: Takes after his pa, wouldn't you say?

Alex was staring at the mysterious man as he was smiling at the vigilante until Ambrose said something to him.

Alex: What did you do to him?

????: Just some laughing gas. [Smiles] Don't tell me you're. . . . . not an inmate?

The mysterious man let out a maniacal laugh and said something to the Batman.

????: What rational being dresses like you? Oh and speaking of threads, think this is a good look for me?

Alex was annoyed and grabbed the mysterious man's collar and lifted him up until he said something to him.

Alex: Who are you?

????: [Smiles] Joker.

Alex: That's not a name.

He tried to wipe the makeup off Joker's face but Alex noticed there was no makeup on his hand as Joker smiled at him and said something to the vigilante

Joker: Smear free. It's perma-clown!

Alex was staring at him until Joker did a backflip and said something to the vigilante.

Joker: Look! Nothing up my sleeves! [Pulls out a laughing gas canister] Nothing that won't put a smile on your face.

He jumped up in the air and said "Say cheese" as he was spray laughing gas on the vigilante but Alex threw a batarang on him.

Joker: I'm out of gas.

Alex: [Grits Teeth]. . . . . And I'm out of patience!

Joker was on the ground as he glared at the batman and said something to him.

Joker: You really know how to spoil a party. I mean how do you expect me to spread chaos and anarchy without a proper hideout?!?!

Alex: Listen, Joker. Your sick and you need help.

Joker: Hmmmm. . . . . . [Smiles] Maybe I am a little off.

Alex was holding his jaw as Joker was smiling at him and said something to the vigilante.

Joker: But, what are you going to do? Lock me in the loony bin? I'm already here! [Laughs]

Meanwhile Joseph and Colby were standing by the destroyed bridge as they were speaking to the officers.

Colby: Situation report.

Officer: We are rounding up patients and waiting for the choppers to take us over.

Joseph was looking for an alternative route to the asylum until he found one way and said something to Colby.

Joseph: Here goes nothing.

He jumped off the bridge and landed on the river as he began swimming towards the asylum. Colby sighed to himself before he jumped off the bridge and began swimming towards the asylum.

Meanwhile back at the asylum, Joker was running away as Alex tried to attack him but the villain began dodging the incoming attacks while Ambrose was following him.

The villain and the vigilante continued fighting each other while blocking each others attacks as Joker was speaking to Alex.

Joker: You know, I really love this place. My old hideout a shambles, and this place just scream me.

Joker: [Smiles] Okay. Take back the asylum, but mark my words: This town has happy days ahead!

Joker pulled out multiple cards and threw it at the vigilante but Alex managed to dodge the incoming attacks.

Joker began running away while laughing at the vigilante as Alex was following him until he saw another jack in the box in front of him as the music stopped playing.

Alex was shocked as he immediately rolled out of the way but the box didn't exploded. Instead confetti popped out of the box along with laughter as he heard a message from the box.

Jack In A Box: Smile Gotham!

Alex: Urgh. . . . . That was not funny.

Meanwhile Colby and Joseph made it to the asylum as they split up to find the other patients. Lopez was moving through the asylum as he was looking for the inmates.

As he continued moving forward, he saw the Batman standing by the window as he was shocked while Alex noticed Colby until Lopez said something.

Colby: You have the right to remain-

Colby saw Alex disappear into the night as Joseph ran towards his partner and said something to him.

Joseph: What happened?

Colby: I saw him.

Joseph: Who?

Colby: The Batman.
