These are my rules in this book:

1#: this isn't a zombie apocalypse book

2#: the Rain acts like Acid rain but isn't at the same time (it can't effect any of the buildings, only living creatures.)

#3: Unkillable "creatures" come out when it starts raining and they hunt only the ground level and can't climb up the stairs or the side of buildings.

4#: anyone which has been infected in the rain will act like monsters out and will try to bring anyone into the rain.

5#: the Rain has a PH level similar to Car battery acid. And anyone infected with it will die in a few days (two days after exposure)

6#: there is no cure to the "Rain" only place of safety is to be a place away from broken windows or destroyed buildings, find a place with glass windows that are unbroken and stay away from the bottom level.
