Her Sight.
Third person's POV.
She was looking at the road again and again. Her eyes were going on the road which was his way of coming. In this dark place, seated alone her heart was beating as hell with fear.
"Where's he?" She changed her position on the bench in restlessness and looked again at the left side to see him but he was nowhere to be seen.
"It's not raining today and he's still late." She said again and looked up at the sky which had clouds running on but it was not raining.
"Will he come?" She asked herself again and leaned a little ahead to see him but there was no sign of him coming.
Her heart beat was increasing with every passing second as the night was going dark. It had been a month that they were this silent companion of each other on these nights. But today, he was not there and she was feeling scared as the darkness was imcreasing her fear.
"Ya Allah why didn't he come?" She thought again as her fingers tangled with each other in anxiety.
She heard the horn of bus and her head moved toward right side to see the bus. Her heart beat increased and somewhere it loses hope that he'll come. Getting up, she took steps toward bus which just stopped in front of her. Before getting in the bus, she turned her head to see him again and there she stopped as she saw him coming with fast feet. He feet running to reach the bus stop and her lips smiled under her veil which she dud with her dupatta to cover her face. He looked at her stopping and he moved faster. Panting, he stopped and looked at her who turned her head toward him. This was for the first time when he looked at her and she looked at him. The sight of her beautiful eyes were enough to make his heart beat increased. Kohl filled eyes and there a massage for him was enough to lose his heart to her. Looking away both stepped in the bus.
Few passengers were already there in the bus travelling like them. Both took seats separately but their hearts were connected with each other. The bus moved on and their journey with each other started again. After half an hour, the bus stopped and his eyes moved up to look at her who took a second to leave her seat and without looking at him, she stepped down from the bus. Following her, he left the bus as it was also his stop but today, he was not intersted in going to his way but to hers.
As he stepped down from the bus, he looked up at the sky where the tiny dropslets were coming from. His eyes went to her who was taking slow steps and this rain was drenching her. His feet moved toward her with beating heart.
"Excuse me." Her feet stopped on his call but she didn't turn.
At the road where no one was to be seen, both were drenching in the rain. Their hearts were beating. They were companion of this rain. Of this weather which was reaaon of bringing both of them together but still they were unaware of each other.
"Don't get me wrong. Can..can I ask your name?" He asked with little hesitation and this time, she turned to him.
The speed of rain increased and the wind started to blow fastly making her dupatta move with its every strock. Her eyes tried to look at him who was just few step far from her.
"I'm...I'm Ahad. Abdul Ahad." He introduced himself with a littke shout and waited for her to say something.
But before she could say something, she heard a yell for her. Turning to the right side road, she saw a boy standing there calling for her with an umbrella. She turned again to that stranger who was waiting for her reply.
"Aapi." She again heard a yelled for her.
Taking a step back with backward steps, she kept looking at him. And his eyes never moved from her nor blinked.
"Nigah. I'm Nigah." She almost yelled to make her voice reached him and his lips smiled as he heard her.
"I'll wait for you tomorrow night." He said and she gave a nod with a smile and ran back to her brother who was waiting for her.
"Nigah." His lips took her name slowly with a smile and kept looking at her until she disappeared from his eyes.
He smilingly turned to walk his way but his heart was dancing with joy with the thought to talk to her. This night was looking like a year to him. But he knew he had to wait to meet her again.
