On the day of the Entrance Exams, Gambit began making his way to UA. As he stood before UA, Gambit took a moment to take in the view. 

Gambit: This should be fun. 

Suddenly, an ashen blond young teen shoved Gambit out of the way. Gambit simply became annoyed. 

Gambit: Watch where you're going, mon ami!

Ashen Blond Teen: Fuck off, you extra!

The teen stormed off for the entrance to UA. After this altercation, Gambit entered UA and was sent to the auditorium. Once inside the auditorium, Present Mic made an announcement on what the Entrance Exams would be. The students would be entering a fake city and destroy robots worth between 1 through 3 points. They would also have to get as much points as they could. After that, Gambit was taken to one of the gates at the fake city. 

Gambit: Alright, UA. Make this fun, shall we?

Without warning, the Entrance Exams began. Gambit rushed inside the fake city and began taking the fight to the robots by smacking them with his staff. When a robot moved close to Gambit, Gambit placed his hand on the robot and activated his Quirk. As the robot was engulfed in purple light, Gambit jumped back as the robot exploded. Gambit then sees a two pointer heading his way. Gambit smirked as he pulls out three playing cards. 

Gambit: First we charge the cards. 

Gambit ignites the cards with his Quirk and begins running towards the two pointer robot. 

Gambit: Then we deal the cards! 

Gambit then throws the charged up cards at the robot's head. Seconds later, the cards exploded, destroying the robot. Gambit takes in his victory when he sees a pink skinned girl fighting a group of robots. 

Gambit: Time to make an entrance. 

Gambit runs in and jumps on one of the robots, charging him with his Quirk. Just as the robot explodes, Gambit throws two charged up cards at two robots and destroys them. 

Pink Girl: Whoa.....thanks!

Suddenly, the ground began to shake. Gambit and the girl turned around to see the giant Zero Pointer coming their way.

Gambit: That's going to be a problem. 

Without hesitation, Gambit throws several charged cards at the Zero Pointer in an attempt to slow it down. This does nothing to slow down the robot. As Gambit continued to put some distance between himself and the Zero Pointer, he saw what looked like an applicant seemingly destroy the Zero Pointer. Gambit was caught off guard by this display of power.

Gambit: Not bad, mon ami.

As this happened, the Entrance Exams were completed. Gambit was confident in his score as he went to a house rented to him by Aizawa. As Gambit got home, he patiently waited for his results. In the meantime, Gambit took the time to explore the city. It felt off to walk the streets and not look for a potential score to acquire. One day, Gambit came home and saw a letter in the mail. When he opened it, a device fell out of it and began playing a live recording featuring All Might.

All Might(Recording): HAHAHA! CONGRATULATIONS YOUNG REMY LABEAU ON PASSING THE ENTRANCE EXAMS! YOU PASSED WITH ONE OF THE HIGHEST SCORES POSSIBLE ON THE WRITTEN EXAMS! YOU PLACED 1ST WITH 80 VILLAIN POINTS AND 20 RESCUE POINTS! YOU WILL BE PLACED IN CLASS 1-A! WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO MAKING YOU THE BEST HERO YOU CAN BE! AND REMEMBER YOUNG REMY: GO BEYOND PLUS ULTRA! HAHAHA!

As the live recording ended, Gambit smirked. After that, Gambit went to sleep and prepared for their first day at UA. The next morning, Gambit got dressed in his school uniform and went to his classroom in UA. When he got in, he was the pink haired girl from the Entrance Exams. 

Gambit: Well well well. Look what we have here. 

It wasn't long before Gambit was approached by a girl with a long black ponytail. 

???: Greetings. I am Momo Yaoyorozu. A pleasure to make your acquaintance.

Without hesitation, Gambit took Yaoyorozu's hand and kissed it. This caused Yaoyorozu to blush. 

Gambit: A pleasure to meet you, cherie. The name's Remy LaBeau. The pleasure is all mine. 

Suddenly, the ashen blond team from the Entrance Exams angrily approached him.

Ashen Blond Teen: HEY YOU! THINK YOU'RE BIG SHIT CAUSE YOU SCORED HIGHER THAN ME?! WELL YOU'RE NOTHING! YOU JUST GOT LUCKY! I'LL SHOW YOU WHO'S TOP DOG AROUND HERE!

Gambit: There's no need to be hostile, mon ami. There's plenty of room at the top for the both of us. I'm sure that's in the cards. That comment angered Bakugo. Before an altercation could be made, a voice calls out to the entire class.

??? If you're here to make friends, then pack up your stuff and leave. 

Hearing that confused the class. Gambit and the others turned around to see Aizawa in a yellow sleeping bag.

Aizawa: Welcome to UA's Hero Course: I'm Shota Aizawa, your teacher.

Aizawa then takes a sip from a nutritional drink and exits his sleeping bag.

Aizawa: All right everyone, get set up. We're going to the training field.

As Aizawa said that, all of Class 1-A got dressed in their PE uniforms and made their way to the training field. Gambit stayed behind.

Gambit: Did you really pull those strings to make sure you were made my teacher, Eraser?

Aizawa: Believe or not, I didn't. That was just in the cards. 

Gambit smirked as he left the classroom for the gym room. In that moment, Gambit was ready to make a good first impression on his classmates.
