Chapter 2: The Avatar and The Mad Airbender
Your POV
It's currently the middle of the day, and I was still meditating atop of the watchtower. I keep breathing steadily and with a deep inhale, I let out a deep sigh...everything was..at peace...steady...that is, until, Sokka came running on top of the watchtower.
Sokka: You!
Y/N: What the fuck do you want now?
Sokka: Your brother signaled the Fire Navy that's nearby with the flare he just shot a few hours ago!
Y/N: I failed to see where that's my problem.
Sokka: Unbelievable! I was walking around the area, and saw the flare shot up from that Fire Navy ship that happened to be stuck ashore! Now the Fire navy ship that happens to be intact, is NOW heading to us! I'm pretty sure that it IS your problem!
Y/N: Don't care. Shut the fuck up.
Sokka: You know what?! Get off my tower!
And with a push from Sokka, I fell from the tower, luckily I fell on the soft snow. I burst out of the snow, seething with Anger.
Y/N: I told you that that isn't my damn problem, but now you pissed me off. If you disrupt my meditating, I told you that nothing good comes out of it, and now I do this to your watchtower;
I raised my left foot, and I delivered a roundhouse kick to the watchtower. The tower shakes, and Sokka starts to lose his footing, and fell on the snow as well. He looks up, and his eyes widened with fear as his watchtower now starts to fall down on him....now the tower was only a bump on the ground, and Sokka bursts out of the snow of what once used to be his tower.
Sokka: What the heck-
Y/N: That's for fucking PUSHING ME OFF!!!
Aang: Y/N, what's going on?
I saw Aang run towards me, and I let out a sigh and I started walking towards him, and as soon as I got close to him, I said;
Y/N: It's best you handle this before I cave his head in.
I stormed off to the side and I sat there, cross legged and I put my fists against each other and I start to meditate again, and this time, without any distractions.
Sokka: You signaled the nearby Fire Navy Ship and it's now heading right at this village! You're leading them straight to us, aren't you?
Katara: Aang didn't do anything! It was an accident.
Aang: Yeah. We were on the ship and there was this booby trap, and, well we booby-ed right into it.
Y/N (Thinking): Ayayay...
Kanna: Katara, you shouldn't have gone on that ship! Now we could all be in danger!
Aang: Don't blame Katara. I brought her there. It's my fault.
Sokka: Aha! The traitor confesses! Warriors, away from the enemy! The foreigner is banished from our village.
Katara: Sokka, you're making a mistake!
Sokka: No, I'm keeping my promise to Dad. pointing to Aang. I'm protecting you, from threats like him! points to Y/N And him!
Katara: Aang is not our enemy! continues in a calm, soothing voice. Don't you see? Aang's brought us something we haven't had in a long time: fun!
Sokka: Fun?! We can't fight firebenders with fun!
Aang: You should try it sometime.
Y/N: By the Gods, what am I even to do with you, Aang?
Katara: And Y/N...he taught me how to use my bending effectively and stronger, and now, he himself said that with proper training, i can be one of the strongest Waterbenders he's seen!
Sokka: I don't care! Get out of our village! Now!
Katara: Grandmother, please. Don't let Sokka do this!
Kanna: Katara, you knew going on that ship was forbidden. Sokka is right. I think it best if the airbenders leave.
Katara: Fine! Then I'm banished, too! Drags Aang away. Come on Aang, let's go.You too, Y/N! You're coming with both of us!
Y/N: I just wanted to have a GODDAMN meditate!
Sokka: Where do you think you're going?
Katara: To find a waterbender. Aang is taking me to the North Pole, Y/N already taught me how to be more effective in using my bending!
Aang: I am? Great!
Y/N: Slow down, Aang. You still have to do your training too.
Sokka: Katara! Would you really choose him over your tribe? Your own family?
Katara had stopped in her tracks, right between Appa and her tribe. Katara, who looks down sorrowfully as Aang approaches her with a sad look upon his face. While I still remain in my meditating state, not moving an inch, and not giving a single fuck.
Aang: Katara, I don't want to come between you and your family.
Katara: So, you're leaving the South Pole? almost whispering This is goodbye?
Aang: Thanks for penguin sledding with me.
Katara: Where will you go?
Aang: Guess I'll go back home and look for the airbenders.
Aang places one hand on Appa, but is suddenly struck with realization.] Wow, I haven't cleaned my room in a hundred years.
Aang: Not looking forward to that.
Aang uses his airbending to hop onto Appa's head.
Aang: It was nice meeting everyone. Y/N, come on!
I remained silent, and everything around me fell quiet. The snow didn't feel cold, the demands of Sokka and callings of Aang slowly became muffled, until it was just ringing in my ears that I can hear.
Aang: Man, I forget how deep he goes into his Meditation.
Sokka: Let's see your bison fly now, air boy.
Aang: Come on Appa, you can do it. Yip-yip!
Aang flicks the reins, but Appa merely rises and growls, I tend to forget how lazy Appa can get...
Sokka: Yeah, I thought so!
A girl runs from crowd to stand next to Katara with tears in her eyes.
Southern Water Tribe girl: Aang, don't go! I'll miss you!
Aang: I'll miss you, too...
Looks at Katara, who frowns back at him, her eyes saddened while her hair loopies sway in the wind.
Aang: Come on, boy. Y/N, make sure to catch up before nightfall!
Appa turns and plods away, disappearing over the hill. The young girl sighs and trudges back to the village, while Katara remains standing in the snow. Kanna walks up to her granddaughter.
Kanna: Katara, you'll feel better after you-
Katara, rounding on her grandmother and interrupting her, her voice full of impassioned rage...the rage that I saw within her, and she said:
Katara: You happy now? gestures in the direction Aang took off There goes my one chance at becoming a waterbender!
She marches away furiously, leaving Kanna looking saddened. Meanwhile, Sokka approaches me...what the fuck does he want now?
Sokka: That means you too, jackass.
Y/N:..
Sokka: I said, leave our village-!
Sokka raised his club, about to hit me. I opened my eyes, filled with rage and hatred, I sent out a powerful burst with my airbending, sending him flying a few feet back. I stood up from my position, and there were powerful wind currents surrounding me, and almost blowing Sokka away.
Y/N: Try to hit me again, and I will FUCKING snap your damn neck.
Katara: Sokka! Leave him alone! He did nothing to you!
Sokka: But he just-
Kanna: That's enough, Sokka. Let the man meditate in peace...
Sokka groans, and he leaves...the air currents around me started to disappear, and I fell...silent. I went back to my pose, and I went back to meditating once more. Meanwhile, Sokka coaches the young boys to prepare for battle just outside the village...asshole never learns.
Sokka: All right, ready our defenses! The Fire Nation could be on our shores any moment now!
Southern Water Tribe boy: But I gotta-
Sokka: And no potty breaks!
The scene changes to a snowy landscape dotted by several ice formations, where Aang and Appa are resting in an ice formation, Appa lying lazily on his back in the lower section and Aang resting above him. Appa grunts, and Aang, as if he understood Appa, he responds:
Aang: Yeah, I liked her too...
Aang catches sight of Fire Nation ship advancing toward the Southern Water Tribe, and he gasps
Aang: The village!
Aang slides off the ice formation onto the ground.
Aang: Appa, wait here!
Appa responds by merely grunting lazily. The scene changes to where Sokka prepares for battle inside a Water Tribe tent. He dons gloves, boots, bindings, and applies face paint. After necessary preparations, he puts his boomerang away on his back.
The scene changes to Zuko's ship, where servants are seen helping the Fire Nation prince to put on his Fire Nation outfit, complete with a red helmet ending in a sharp point. Through all this, Zuko never moves a muscle.
The scene changes again, and it was focused on me. I can feel the ship getting closer and closer just by determining the air currents in this Goddamned Ice Hell, and so, without them knowing, I used my airbending and caused a bit of stir to the Fire Nation ship, to buy Sokka enough time, while I stay in my meditating state.
The scene cuts to an overhead shot of the village, a wall surrounding the town. Sokka is seen standing atop the wall, overlooking the foggy horizon, while I remain on the ground, still meditating.
Cut back to a shot of the village where a mother is seen squatting beside her child, but she suddenly jerks up upon hearing a loud, cracking noise. Her son gasps for air and the surrounding villagers also turn around in fright to see what the source of the noise was. Kanna, sitting on a log by a camp fire, rises and gasps for air.
Suddenly, the ground begins to quake and a rumbling sound is heard in the distance. Kanna gasps louder this time and her face contorts in horror. Switch to a scene of Sokka's feet where bits of the wall are cracking and breaking off. A mother carrying her child slowly backs away in fright. A watchtower on the wall is shaking under the pressure of the trembling, and completely collapses. Sokka, disappointed at the tower's collapse, said:
Sokka: Oh maaan...
The ship started approaching the village, cutting through the icy sea. Switch to a shot of Kanna standing in the snow, looking up in terror at the vessel while backing up slightly. Villagers pass her in their haste to get to safety and the shadow of the large ships descends over her. It can be seen that the ship's bow as it plows through the snowy shores, splintering the ground.
Sokka looks up, terrified by the large ship. The ship's approach creates a large crack that quickly travels toward the village and over the wall. Cut to Katara helping her grandmother into a tent, when she hears a frightened scream. She gasps in terror when she realizes that the sound came from a small boy, kneeling on the ground.
The fissure is rapidly approaching him, but Katara quickly runs over and scoops up the child before the ground splinters underneath. She sets the child down again in front of a tent which he quickly enters, and Katara turns back to view her brother.
Sokka can be seen standing on the wall, the bow of the ship plowing through the snow. Sokka raises his club in defense, ready to strike. Before he can make his move, however, the bow crumbles a large portion of the wall into snowy ruins. The snow slides downward, pushing Sokka several feet back before he lands to a halt. With a loud hiss of steam, the ship has come to a halt as well. Switch to an overview shot of the entire village.
The villagers, who now curiously come out of hiding and are staring in complete shock at the large vessel. The camera pans to the right toward Katara, who is looking at the ship with her mouth open; she gasps.
Sokka also gasps when he catches sight of the bow of the ship opening and creaking forward in a burst of steam, forming a walkway. He backs up and falls to the ground once the bow hits the ground with a loud thud. The villagers gather closer around for support and several people even cover their eyes. Katara takes a step back upon noticing the shape of three figures cloaked in the mist.
The walkway of the ship, where Prince Zuko emerges from the mist, two guards following close behind him. Cut to the villagers huddled together and Sokka, who kneels in the snow in front of them, ready to defend his tribe.
Prince Zuko descends from the ship along with the two guards. Sokka lets out a battle cry and charges at the prince with his club to the ready. Even more soldiers trudge down while Sokka is traveling his way upward...great, now more of these assholes joined in.
When he reaches Zuko, the prince merely kicks the club to his left and, without ever resting his leg on the ground, kicks Sokka over to his right, sending him into the snow, where his head becomes trapped.
The warrior desperately tries to free himself as Zuko continues on his way to the village, followed by six more men. Katara covers her mouth in shock upon witnessing her brother's quick defeat.
Zuko and his men stand before the villagers, Zuko approaches. He passes to the right when he does not seem to find what he is looking for and stops in front of Katara, who is clutching Kanna.
Zuko (Angrily): Where are you hiding him?
Zuko surveys the crowd of villagers, who fall completely silent. Without warning, he extends his arm out into the crowd and grabs Kanna, holding her by the hood of her parka.
Zuko: He'd be about this age, master of all elements?
He shoves Kanna forcefully back into the crowd. The elderly woman shudders in fear and embraces Katara, while Katara shoots an angry glare at Zuko. Receiving no response, Zuko swings his arm out and releases an arc of fire that passes just over the heads of the people, causing them to cover their heads and cry out in fear.
Zuko (Angrily): I know you're hiding him!
Sokka sees his club lying in the snow, he runs over and picks it up, most of his war paint having come off at this point. He lets out another battle cry as he charges toward the prince.
He swiftly turns around just as Sokka approaches. He ducks under Sokka's wide swing and hurls the warrior forward. Sokka lands on his rear in the snow and is quickly forced to dart from his spot when Zuko fires a blast at him.
Y/N (Thinking): Fucker demands us to leave the village, doesn't even know the basic hand-to-hand combat, the fucker had MULTIPLE OPENINGS!
He spins to the side and tosses his boomerang at the enemy who barely manages to miss getting hit by the weapon. Zuko growls and glares at Sokka in anger at the near hit; he follows the course of the weapon until it vanishes before looking back at Sokka in anger. One of the village boys tosses Sokka a spear.
Village Boy: Show no fear!
Sokka handily catches the weapon and charges at Zuko once more. Zuko breaks of pieces of the spear with his forearms, pulls the remains of the weapon out of Sokka's hands and pokes him thrice in the head with the blunt end.
Sokka falls to the ground as Zuko snaps the spear in two and tosses the pieces to the ground on both of his sides. Cut to shot of Sokka, who rubs his head in pain, before switching back to a head shot of Zuko. A sparkle of light shines briefly in the distance and Sokka's boomerang spins into view, unnoticed by Zuko...wait, is that...?
The weapon strikes Zuko on the back of his helmet with a loud cling; he is momentarily pushed forward by the unexpected blow. Zuko rearranges his helmet and growls at Sokka. The boomerang has plummeted into the ground in front of Sokka's feet.
Sokka: HA HA! Yes!
Y/N (Thinking): Okay, that was pretty cool.
Enraged, Zuko readies two fire daggers, and was about to give Sokka the final blow, until he saw in the corner of his eyes...me, still meditating. He dismissed the fire daggers and made his way towards me.
Zuko: There you are! You didn't even bother trying to hide, are you? What is this? Some sort of trap? To bait me? Speak up, Avatar!
Katara & Sokka: Avatar?!
Zuko: Though, I did see you that you were bald not too long ago...probably just a faulty telescope. But enough of all of that! You're coming with us, now!
I still remain silent, and Zuko grew more and more impatient.
Zuko: I said, NOW!
The firebender raised his arms, and sent a powerful blast of flames at me, point blank. Katara covers her mouth in shock and fear, and Sokka froze in place, and the children cried out in horror. The fire covers me, but I am currently using my airbending to keep the flames from burning me.
I used my free hand and I punched through the flames and grabbed the person in front of me by the neck, causing him to stop using his flames. The flame subsides, and Zuko saw my eyes, filled with blinding rage and hatred, and traces of black substances from my eyes.
Y/N: Get. The fuck. OFF!!!
I threw him up, and I reared back my hand, and delivered a straight powerful punch to Zuko's gut, mixed with my airbending. The moment my fist connected with him, a powerful air current hits him again by the gut as well, and it was more than enough to send him flying back to the ship.
The soldiers start to back away, and I started standing up, furious that I never get to finish my meditation. Without looking, I used my airbending, and generated an air current and the Dual Naginata was blown towards me. I caught it with one hand, and I gave it a quick spin, and I stared at the soldiers with burning desire to cut them down. I turn to Sokka, and the rest of the Village boys, and said;
Y/N: This is how you do a warcry!
I take in a deep breathe, and shouted at them and the soldiers;
Y/N: You refused to leave me to myself, and now I am enraged! FILLED with Hatred! FUELED by Anger! Now, I am become DEATH! The instrument of perfect PAIN! May the Gods forgive you...because I FUCKING won't! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!
I rush forward, with my weapon at the ready. Katara and Sokka watch from the side as I go to battle. I made sure to cover the sharp edges of my weapon with a air barrier, or shield in this case, and turn this into a blunt instead. Why do this? Cause there are kids watching!
I saw a Firebender soldier run towards me, and he stomped his foot and blasted fire from his hands. I raised my weapon in front of me and started spinning it and with a combination of my airbending, sending the flames back. I reached the said firebender, and I hit him by the head, denting his helmet.
I saw two more firebdenders right at the corner of my eyes, and I saw them send two fireballs flying right at me with their kicks. I held my weapon with one hand, and held out my free hand and I sent a powerful air-blast at the firebenders, sending the flying when it made contact with them.
Instinctively, I cocked my head to the side and a stream of fire passed right beside my head, and I looked back to see the Fire Nation soldier that tried to attack me with it, I snarled at him and with a roundhouse kick, I sent a powerful air-current towards him, he tried to block it with his his flames, but it the current cut straight through it, sending him flying to the ship, both with a broken rib and a concussion.
Zuko arises again, and he roars at me and blasted flames towards my direction once more. I then used my Airbending, and slid to the side using an Airblast, evading Zuko's flames. I raised my weapon and sent a powerful air-current in the form of a horizontal blade cutting through wind, Zuko barely dodged it, and it cut right through the walls and the massive ice right behind him. We started staring down at each other, and we started circling each other.
Zuko: Not bad. And you're only using your Airbending! Come on, then! Show me how you use all four elements!
Y/N: I don't have to prove anything else to you. My rage, and my rage alone, would be enough to end all of you! Now come!
I stabbed my Dual Naginata in the ice, and at the moment that it pierced the ice, it left a massive crack and the ice shakes. I crack my knuckles and I smile like a maniac.
Y/N: Show me what passes for fury among your misbegotten kind!
Zuko: You dare look down on the Fire Nation?!
He shouts at me, then he stomped his foot, sending a wave of flame right towards me. I reared my right fist back, and delivered a straight punch in the air, dispersing the flames and sending an airblast towards him.
He dodges it and he threw multiple fireballs towards my direction, I started walking forward, and using my bare hands to disperse the flames that was being thrown at me.
Y/N: Is that it?! Is this all the finest of the Fire Nation has to offer?!
Zuko: Shut up!
He shouted and he put both of his hands together and sent a giant flaming ball towards me. I smirked and I raised my hand, and sent a small air current, piercing through the giant fireball, causing it to disperse and blind my adversary for a second or two. For other people this seems nothing, and would have let it pass. But for me? It gave me a mile wide opening. I took this chance, and I used my Airbending and blasted myself forward, and I grabbed him by the neck
Y/N: You're pathetic! You can't even last a minute against an Air Nomad! And you think you can take on the Avatar?!
Zuko: What are you talking GAK about?! You fit the description!
Y/N: No, you assumed that I fit the description of the Avatar! Have you ever heard of the saying "Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear."? Well, sear that into your brain!
I said as I threw him away from me, and he rolled on the ice. he got back up with a groan, and he roared, flames coming out of his mouth. I smiled and I started walking back towards my Naginata. I pulled it out of the ice and I did a stance with it. I was very close to lunging at Zuko, but I was stopped the moment I started hearing something coming from the distance.
I saw Aang, who is seen rapidly riding on a penguin toward the battle scene. He holds his glider horizontal on the animal and he has a determined look on his face. I see him speeding right towards Zuko, and Aang takes his feet out from underneath him, tossing Zuko off his feet; speeding past, Aang soars into the air as the prince lands on his face, his legs in the air. He spins around a few times before coming to a halt in front of his men, his helmet landing on his rear as they watch.
I hear the cheering villagers, as Aang rides speedily toward them, still mounted on the penguin. The children, who cheer upon his arrival. They are showered in snow as Aang rides past, however, after giving each other silent, unamused looks for a few seconds, they begin cheering once again, shaking the snow off.
Aang comes to a halt in front of Kanna, Katara, and Sokka. The penguin crawls out from under him, tossing him off. Aang falls on his rear, blinking stupidly. Aang smiles at the penguin when the animal quacks at him before waddling away.
Y/N: Took you damn long enough!
Aang: Sorry, Y/N. And hey, Katara. Hey, Sokka!
Sokka: Hi, Aang. Thanks for coming!
Y/N: These fucking kids. Tender reunion, hurrah! We have a fucking fight going on here, so I suggest get you heads out of your asses!
Aang looks back at the Fire Nation soldiers, where Zuko just got back on his feet again. Upon his signal, his men spread out, surrounding Aang while Zuko assumes a fighting stance. I see Aang assuming a fighting stance as well, and so I went and do a stance as well, me and him, side-by-side, like the brothers we are.
His staff held firmly in front of him as we're being being surrounded by the soldiers. He looks at me, and i look back. we both nodded at each other, and Aang used his Airbending and he floated himself in the air, and I held my Naginata with one hand, and raised my free hand, formed it into a fist, and shattered the ice around me, causing the entire area where the soldiers are standing at to shake and shatter.
Aang landed right beside me, sweeps the ground side-to-side with his staff, showering the men with snow. He subsequently slams the ground, sending a rush of snow at Zuko who braces for the impact. After being sprayed with snow, and heating it up so it would melt off, Zuko looks up angrily.
Aang: Looking for me?
Zuko: Two Airbenders?! And you're the Avatar?!
Katara: Aang's the Avatar?!
Sokka: No way!
Aang: Y/N, brother, sit this one out. I can take care of him, and your eyes are starting to darken again.
Y/N: I know what the fuck I'm doing, Aang. I'm not a damned kid, I'm 18.
Aang: And we're twins and we're the same age! Sit your butt back there!
I groaned and I walked away from Aang's side, and I sat cross legged in the distance. Zuko and Aang started circling each other, and Zuko, seemingly filled with anger, said;
Zuko: I've spent years preparing for this encounter. Training, meditating! You're just a child!
Aang: Well you're just a teenager.
Y/N: He's the same age as you, firebitch.
Zuko launches a series of fire blasts at Aang in anger at the remark, who defends himself by twirling his staff, dissipating the flames. Cut to overhead shot of the area, Zuko attacking Aang, the villagers watching directly behind him. Zuko fires another blast at Aang, who twirls his staff once again to ward the attack off.
I saw the villagers, who cower as the flames stream through the air over their heads. I stood up, and I stood in front of them and used my Airbending and deflected any incoming flames towards them. Aang widens his eyes in horror at the sight of the frightened villagers and immediately ceases to defend himself.
Y/N: Aang, what the Hell are you doing?!
Aang: If I go with you-
He holds his staff in front of him as an offer, making sure Zuko understands that he does not wish to continue fighting.
Aang: - will you promise to leave everyone alone?
Y/N: Aang you LITTLE SHIT! WE TALKED ABOUT THIS! YOU HAVE A DESTINY, GODSDAMNIT!
Zuko's men still surrounding him, spears poised. After a brief moment of hesitation, Zuko erects himself and nods in agreement. Aang is apprehended by Zuko's men, who take his staff. Katara runs forward as they lead Aang away. Zuko turns to me, and said:
Zuko: Do something, and your friend gets it!
Y/N: He's my BROTHER! You skull-fucked son of a bitch! Aang you better not be fucking around or I'll beat your ass myself!
Katara: No! Aang, don't do this!
Aang: Don't worry, Katara. It'll be okay. Hey, Y/N? Take care of Appa for me until I get back.
Y/N: Get back here, Aang!
I was about to run after them, and at the distance, I noticed an incoming arrow that was fried from a ballista. Before I could even evade the arrow, it made contact with me. It was an explosive shell, and it blew up right at me.
I groaned, and I roared at the ship. I was about to run at it, but was met with barrages of explosive shells. It sent me flying to the nearby wall, and I was smoking hot, my robes were surprisingly intact. I looked, to see Aang boarding the ship.
Zuko: Head a course for the Fire Nation. I'm going home.
I saw the villagers looking up at the ship, Aang standing at the top of walkway. Switch to a more up-close shot of him smiling weakly, surrounded by Fire Nation soldiers. Katara, looks up, tears in her eyes, as she watches Aang who now frowns as the bow rises and closes. As it closed, I passed out in pain.

I woke up, inside a tent. I sat up and I looked around. I groaned again, and I held my head in pain. Hell, is in pain. I then saw a woman, in her late 20's, enter the tent.
???: Thank the Gods you're awake. Come now, don't get out of bed.
She said as she walked towards me, and she grabbed a cup of...some sort of a concoction, perhaps a medicine, to help with the pain, to numb it out at least.
???: Drink this, it'll ease the pain. It's a bit bitter.
Y/N: Trust me, I've taken worse.
I said as I took the cup, and drank the thing entirely. I tasted the bitterness, and I couldn't help make a face because of it. I let out a sigh, as I then felt my entire body feel at ease.
Y/N: Thank you, Miss?
???: Rohek. We've met.
Y/N: I see...I apologize, for not recognizing you so soon, Rohek. I aimed not to offend you.
Rohek: *giggles* None taken. I'm the village's doctor, and it's my job to make sure the patient gets the best care they need. Now, Ziarra?
???: Yes, doctor?
Then, a girl, no older than 18 or 19 stepped in;
Rohek: Clean this up for me, and fetch the uh...the bandages, yes?
Ziarra: Of course, doctor.
She proceeded to leave the tent, to go find for the bandages, which happens to be in another tent, other than this one. I removed the blankets that were covering me, and I stood up from the bed, and I looked around to where the other half of my robes were.
Rohek: Woah, slow down. You still need to heal.
Y/N: I'm feeling fine now, you've done enough for me.
Rohek: Nonsense. Sit. Down.
I rolled my eyes, and I just complied. I sat back down, and I waited for... whatever it is she's going to do.
Rohek: Though...I did notice, you took quite a lot of those explosions...and none seemed to have...made too much damage on you. What...are you?
Y/N: Physically, I've always been terrifyingly strong even when I was a boy. Hell, I still am. I even noticed, that I heal...quite faster than most people do.
Rohek: I see...also, if you don't mind...what's that massive tattoo for?
Y/N: Ah, it's a common thing that Airbenders do, though, I didn't shave my hair off-
Rohek: No, no. Not that, *that*.
She gestures to the tattoo in my back. It's color, different to the tattoos that a normal Airbenders would have, instead of blue, it was black...*Jet Black*.
Y/N: Oh...this...? I'd rather not say. It's...
Ziarra: Doctor? I've come with the bandages.
Rohek: Ah, thank you, Ziarra.
Ziarra walked in, and she handed the bandages to Rohek. She then sat beside me, and she started touching my exposed chest, arms and overall everything that my shirt is supposed to be covering...a d I kinda feel my body...sting, at least when she touches it. Probably it's because of the explosions.
Rohek: Does this hurt when I touch?
Y/N: Not really, but it does sting when it comes in contact with...anything.
Rohek: Then you're not fine just yet. I'll be wrapping these bandages over your body, so that it doesn't sting, and try not to scratch when it's itchy.
Y/N: I can't make promises, but I'll try.
She nodded as she proceeded to wrap the bandages around my arm, then I felt a...smooth, and soothing feel of the bandages, and it stopped stinging the moment it covers my arm. I then noticed, that she...her face was red as she kept wrapping the bandages around my arms. And me and Ziarra noticed this.
Ziarra: Doctor? Are you alright?
Rohek (whispering): Arms...so big...so well toned...hands...soft, yet hard...oh my...
Y/N: Excuse me?
Rohek: O-oh! Goodness me, I didn't say anything, I'll carry on!
I raised an eyebrow, as I clearly heard every word she muttered, as she was literally right beside me. She then finished, with my arms, then she did my chest, then my back. After it was done, I got up, stood from the bed and I stretched myself. I then proceeded to grab the top of my robes, and I out them back on, covering my bandages.
Y/N: Quite tight, but it'll do nicely. Thank you, Rohek.
Rohek: You're welcome. It's a pleasure healing an Airbender. Now, I'll leave you to yourselves.
Rohek walks out of the tent, as I then try to properly wear my robes, making sure that it's tucked in nice and tightly so that it doesn't fly off when I airbend.
Ziarra: So...what was that about?
Y/N: Huh?
Ziarra: The tattoo, the black one, what does it mean?
Y/N:.... Chaos...the Symbol of Chaos...a warning for those who try to cross me.
Ziarra: Dang...is it that bad?
Y/N: ...Very...I can't, didn't , couldn't have a normal life because of this...curse.
I said, as I then notice an end of a bandage hang off. I tried to put it back in place, and so I failed several times in trying to do so. I growled, but then I felt Ziarra's hands hold my hand.
Ziarra: Let me help.
She said in a soft, soothing voice. She gently puts a hand on my own, and she used her other hand to wrap the bandage intact.
Ziarra: There we are. All good. You should be set. Need anything else?
Y/N: No. Thank you, Ziarra. I'll leave you alone for now.
Ziarra: Do come back when you feel anything strange.
Y/N: Noted.
I said as I walked out of the tent, and on the way out, grabbing my Dual Naginata, and I strapped it to my back. Then, I saw that the village is now...quiet. In the distance, reveals the wreckage the ship, now gone, has left behind. A woman drops a pile of firewood onto the ground next to a camp fire in a rather melancholy manner.
Several villagers surround the collapsed wall, surveying the damage and trying to repair the collapsed watch tower by digging it out. Several others work together to help put up a fallen tent. I look to the Southern shores where Katara is standing on the edge in the distance. Then, I decided to walk towards her, but was met with a woman, no older than 20, acting very hyper and all that.
???: You're going to the Northern Water Tribe, right? Right?! Can I come with you?! Please, please, please, please?!
Y/N: 1. Who the fuck are you? 2. I'm after my brother, and I cannot afford you weighing me down. 3. Like Hell I'd even bring you with me.
???: I'm Kayori! Nice to meet ya!
Y/N: Well, nice meeting you, but I have a brother of mine to save.
Kayori: Ohhh~ So brave? I love it! Take me with you! I wanna see you kick some Fire Nation butts again!
Y/N: Woman, back the fuck off. I don't have time for bullshit.
I said as I lightly pushed her away, and I started walking towards Katara.
Y/N: Katara...where did you see the ship take it's path?
Katara: Northwest...heading straight for Fire Nation...We have to go after that ship, Sokka. Aang and Y/N saved our tribe, now we have to save him.
Sokka: Katara-
Katara: Why can't you realize that he's on our side? If we don't help him, no one will. I know you don't like Aang, but we owe him and-
Sokka: Katara!
Y/N: This woman is dramatic.
Kayori: And so, she's been told.
Sokka sighs, and gestures to a canoe floating in the water. Katara immediately grins and gasps in happiness.
Sokka: Get in, we're going to save your boyfriend.
Y/N: The fuck?
Katara: H-hey! Stop joking around, Sokka! His brother's here!
Kanna: What do you two think you're doing?
The two siblings turn around, look at her and try to act as innocently as possible; Sokka grins broadly.
Kanna: You'll need these.
Kanna holds up their sleeping bags.
Kanna: You have a long journey ahead of you. It's been so long since I've had hope, but you brought it back to life, my little waterbender.
Kanna hugs Katara and who at the end takes the sleeping back out of her hands; to Sokka.
Kanna: And you, my brave warrior, be nice to your sister.
Sokka embarrassed, hugs Kanna, and smiles.
Sokka: Yeah, okay, Gran.
Kanna: And you...
Kanna looks at me, and she hold my hand, and a pleading look in her eyes.
Kanna: Protect my grandkids, teach them to get along...I know you're inflicted with the curse, but I know you hold wisdom in you, Mad Airbender.
Y/N:...In the name of the Air Nomads, and as Master Temple Defender, I will carry out this task.
Kanna: Your brother, Aang, is the Avatar. He's the world's only chance. You, Katara, Sokka, found him for a reason. Now your destinies are intertwined with his.
Katara: Yeah yeah yeah, but there's no way we're going to catch up with a frigate using a Canoe!
Y/N: Seems you already forgot about Appa.
I see Appa, appearing over an icy hill on the horizon. He makes his presence known by growling. Katara runs happily towards the bison.
Katara: Appa!
Sokka: You just looove taking me out of my comfort zone, don't you?
Kayori: Don't forget about meeeee!
Kanna: Kayori...they aren't doing this to wander around the world, they're doing this because they need to save the Avatar, without him, everything would be destroyed.
Kayori: B-but-
Kanna: I'm sorry, Kayori. But it's best you stay here.
Kayori, saddened, sniffles, and she 2as distraught. And I couldn't help but feel...bad. Fuck it, I may be pissed off on a daily basis, but I'm not an asshole.
Y/N: Tell you what? I bring you to the Northern Water Tribe with me when this is all over, yeah?
Kayori: Okay...that's a promise, right?
Y/N:....sighs Yes,it's a promise. I'll come back for you...I promise.
Kayori: YAY! Then go! I can't wait for you to come back! I'll be seeing you, Y/N!~
Kayori said as she happily skipped her way back to the village...she's...almost like a child. It's cute.
Y/N: Ayayay, this woman.
Sokka: Come on, you big ball of fur! Go! Fly! Soar!
Katara: Please, Appa. We need your help. Aang needs your help.
Sokka: Up! Ascend! Elevate!
Katara: Sokka doesn't believe you can fly, but I do, Appa. Come on, don't you want to save Aang?
Y/N: Sokka, that's a goddamn animal. It has thoughts and emotions. Move out of the saddle, damnit.
Sokka groans and dismounts the saddle, and onto Appa's back. I used my Airbending and I flew over Appa's saddle.
Y/N: Hey there, Appa. Been a while. Let's go save my brother, yeah?
Appa: Appa noises
Y/N: Right, hold on, you two. Come on, Appa! Yip-yip!
Sokka startles at the sudden movement that my command brought with it as it seemingly prompts Appa. I see his head bobbing in the water as he grunts and beats the water with his tail. After what appears to be a brief running start, he takes flight and soars through the air.
Y/N: Attaboy, Appa!
Katara: You did it!
Sokka: He's flying! He's flying! Katara, he's -
Me and Katara shot a glance at Sokka, both with smirks on our faces.
Sokka: I mean. Big deal, he's flying.
I can only chuckle at the response, as all four of us rise higher into the sky. Aang, if you're not dead by the time I find you, I'll kick your ass myself.
Cuts to Fire Nation Ship
Zuko's ship is seen, as it makes its way through the icy waters. Aang, Zuko, Iroh and some of Zuko's men are standing on deck. Aang's hands are bound behind his back while Zuko holds Aang's staff.
Zuko: This staff will make an excellent gift for my father. I suppose you wouldn't know of fathers, being raised by monks. Take the Avatar to the prison hold, and take this to my quarters.
Zuko's men takes Aang away to a Prison cell, and hands the staff to Iroh. Then he turns to one of the soldiers, and say:
Iroh: Hey, you mind taking this to his quarters for me?
The firebender accepts the staff and Iroh walks away. Aang is pushed forward by two of the soldiers and he grunts as they roughly shove him ahead. Aang is being taken below while Iroh and the firebender carrying Aang's staff are walking toward a door leading to the upper decks.
Aang is seen as his group begins descending a staircase leading to compartment beneath the deck. He descends the staircase, the outside world disappearing from view. He tries to keep an eye on his staff for as long as possible.
The ship is then seen as it makes its way through the water, flanked by large icebergs, before changing back to the cuffed Aang walking through a corridor on the lower deck. He walks down a corridor, one soldier before him, one following after him.
Aang: So, I guess you've never fought an airbender before. I bet I could take you both with my hands tied behind my back.
Firebender: Silence.
The party stops and Aang observes the soldier in front of him preparing to unlock a door. As the guard in front of him begins to unlock the cell, Aang inhales deeply and unleashes a powerful breath, stunning both of them. The firebender before him slams into the door subsequently knocked out from the impact. Aang is sent several feet back, slamming into the guard behind him.
They both fly back even further, where they crash into the stairs. The soldier behind Aang is also knocked out by the impact, while Aang propels himself onto the deck and kicks open a door using airbending. He quickly runs down the hallway, panting heavily.
He tosses a frightened look over his shoulder, afraid that he is being followed. It can be seen that the helmsman overlooking the deck. A soldier emerges from the lower deck and addresses him.
Firebender: The Avatar has escaped!
The helmsman turned around and ran, to sound an alarm. Aang is frantically running through the corridors. He stops in his tracks and yells when he encounters three soldiers standing with swords drawn in the middle of the corridor.
Aang: You haven't seen my staff, have you?
The three men prepare to attack him, but before they can make a move, Aang sprints across the hallway at the speed of wind, along the floor and the walls, spiraling in circular patterns past the soldiers, through their legs, and manages to escape, leaving the soldiers looking dumbfounded.
Aang: Thanks anyway!
He continues racing through the hallways of the ship and encounters a single guard when he rose another deck. The soldier fires a blast at Aang, who leaps forward. A slow-motion shot depicts Aang somersaulting over the soldier and using the sharp tip of his helmet to cut his bindings, thus freeing him. The soldier falls over from the impact and Aang proceeds down the hall.
The young Avatar races through the interior, opening two doors leading to various compartments of the ship. Upon opening the third door, he finds Iroh sleeping blissfully, snoring. He begins closing the door, his mouth still visible through the crack.
Aang (Whispering): Sorry!
Aang is seen running past the doorway only to slow down and trace his way back upon catching sight of his glider. Close-up of his face that brightens upon recognition of the object, and he dashes through the open door.
Aang: My staff!
Aang enters the room, the door closing behind him. Cut to the interior of the room, where Zuko stands by the door, having clearly waited to corner Aang. Aang looks surprised upon hearing the sound of the closing door. He turns around, his face falling upon seeing the prince standing in the room.
Zuko: Looks like I underestimated you.
After a slight pause, Zuko assumes a fighting stance and fires a blast at Aang, who yells and narrowly avoids the attack. Zuko fires again, forcing Aang into the corner of the room. Cut to Aang, who pants heavily from alarm. Zuko fires once more; Aang spins around out of the corner and against the back wall.
He ducks to avoid another fire blast. Cut to Zuko standing in the middle of the room, Aang managing to roll over directly behind his opponent. Aang deftly manages to stay behind Zuko, utilizing circle-walking. Zuko spins around, desperately attempting to land a blow.
Aang uses airbending to try and deter another one of Zuko's attacks by catching his flames in a current of air. After extinguishing yet another one of his attacks, Aang uses Zuko as a stepping stone. He pushes himself off against his head and creates an air scooter in mid-air that he uses to ride around the room and over the walls and ceiling, as Zuko resumes attacking.
He avoids Zuko's repeated attacks; however, the prince manages to dissipate the air scooter by shattering it with a flame arc. Aang is smacked against the wall underneath a hanging tapestry. He quickly pushes himself up under the tapestry to avoid another fire blast. When he emerges at the top, he grabs the tapestry off its hooks and wraps it around Zuko's body, tangling him momentarily.
This brief intermission gives Aang enough time to grab his glider and he turns around to face his opponent, pointing the end of the staff at Zuko, who destroys the tapestry with firebending. Zuko assumes a fighting stance, while Aang looks on with alarm. Cut to shot of the entire room, as Aang uses airbending to propel a mattress lying in a corner toward Zuko.
The mattress slams into the Fire Nation prince, sending him colliding into the wall, before falling onto the mattress. Aang propels the mattress upward, sending Zuko slamming into the ceiling of the room. Aang makes a break for it before the mattress touches the ground again. Zuko and the mattress fall to the floor, and Zuko remains lying face down upon it. Zuko, who raises his head and glances around the empty room, fuming.
The main control room of the ship is seen, and the wheel of the hatch located toward the back of the room begins spinning rapidly. The hatch opens with a small tornado of air and Aang emerges.
Aang, then leaps from the hatch and runs across the room, leaping over a table and past the man who looks up in surprise. He exits the room and runs onto the upper deck of the ship. Aang happily spreads his arms and welcomes the fresh air. He throws his staff over the balcony which opens into a glider and begins soaring away.
He appears successful until Zuko appears, leaping forward, his arms extended outward. While yelling, Zuko manages to grab hold of Aang's ankle. Aang, whose expression of triumph turns into one of despair as he begins losing altitude, struggling to maintain the weight of the extra, unexpected person.
The two plummet down to the lower deck of the ship and land with a crash. They bounce a few times before coming to a halt. Aang's glider closes again to a staff. Both lie on the deck for a moment. Zuko's eye narrow in anger. Zuko begins rising, a look of persistence on his face.
Aang rises and assumes a fighting stance, looking very unsure of himself. Before the fight could begin, Appa's growl distracts both fighters. Aang averts his gaze and catches sight of Appa heading toward the ship.
Zuko: What is that?!
Katara and Sokka mounted on Appa's saddle, as I fly him towards the ship.
Aang: Appa! Y/N!
He turns around to face Zuko and manages to deflect a firebending attack by spinning his glider around like a baton. However, he propels himself by accident into the air and lands on the ledge of the deck. He leans precariously over the side, unsteadily balancing himself, but manages to regain his balance only for Zuko to fire another blast at him.
He twirls his glider again to deflect the attack. Two more blasts are fired his way before he loses his grip on his glider and the object spins away. The staff falls several feet away. Aang ducks, spins and leaps out of the way of blasts and lands on the very ledge, struggling to keep his balance.
Zuko hurls more fire blasts his way. Aang holds up his hands in defense, but the last blast seemingly knocks him out cold and he falls backward off the ship into the water, where he slowly sinks.
Katara: Aang! No!
Sokka: Dude, why aren't you helping him?!
Y/N: My brother is much more capable than you think.
Aang, his eyes closed, seemingly unconscious. Suddenly his eyes open, glowing a bright white, along with his arrow tattoos, and he frowns angrily. He steadies himself in the water and begins swiveling around, a waterspout forming around him. He rockets upward and erupts from the surface, riding a humongous spinning water vortex.
Y/N: There it is! See what I mean?
Katara: Woah!
Zuko's ship is seen being overshadowed by the waterspout. Aang is seen appearing atop the vortex. Zuko looks up in horror. I saw the upper deck as Aang lands, summoning the water behind him. I see his eyes and tattoos still glowing, as he brings his hands around behind his head.
The water swirls around him, forming a protective circle, before spreading outward, knocking Zuko and several soldiers off their feet, and Zuko falls over the edge and shouts in surprise. Switch to Sokka and Katara leaning over the side of Appa's saddle watching in shock.
Katara: Did you see what he just did?!
Sokka: Now that was some waterbending!
Y/N: THAT is my brother!
Aang on the deck, as he collapses onto the ground from exhaustion, his eyes and tattoos ceasing to glow. Appa growls and lands on the deck. Katara and Sokka slide down and quickly run toward the unconscious Avatar.
Katara: Aang! Are you alright?!
She kneels down, holding Aang with Sokka and I following close behind.
Aang: Hey, Katara. Hey, Sokka. Thanks for coming.
Y/N: You son of a bitch, don't do that again!
Sokka: Well, I couldn't let you have all the glory.
Aang: Dropped my staff.
Sokka: Got it!
Sokka runs over, grabs a hold of the glider and lifts it only to see Zuko's hand firmly gripping the other end. Sokka appears horrified as Zuko attempts to pull himself upward onto the deck. The two struggle for a bit before Sokka pokes Zuko repeatedly in the head with the end of the staff the way Zuko did earlier with him. Zuko grunts and falls backward as he lets go of the staff. He falls off the side of the ship, but manages to grasp the anchor chain.
Sokka: Ha! That's from the Water Tribe!
Appa, who rises from a puddle of water after me and Katara helped Aang to climb atop his head. Katara still stands beside the large beast while Aang lies on top of his head, and I get on the saddle. Three soldiers are seen, who rise after being knocked down by Aang's water attack and menacingly approach her.
Katara takes a step back and slowly and precariously bends a stream of water from the puddle, causing the men to slow down and gasp in surprise. She swings her arms around in an attempt to whip them, however, only succeeds in freezing a channel of water behind her on the deck, encasing Sokka's legs in ice in the process.
Sokka: Katara!
Y/N: sighs Dumbass.
The soldiers resume their approach. Katara turns around, her back facing them and draws another stream of water. She closes her eyes tightly, swings her arms behind her and turns around to see one of the soldiers completely frozen in a casing of ice, his arm extended outward to her, still twitching in effort to grab her. She backs away slowly, but turns around and quickly runs toward Appa. She begins mounting Appa, while Sokka is trying to cut himself free by smashing his icy chains with his boomerang.
Katara: Sokka, come on!
Sokka: I'm just a guy, with a boomerang. I didn't ask for all this flying and magic!
He manages to break free and races up Appa's tail.
Sokka: Yip-yip! Yip-yip!
Y/N: Come on, Appa! Yip-yip!
Sokka mounts Appa, who grunts and takes flight, flying past the cabin of the ship. Iroh emerges on deck, having just woken up from a nap. Rubbing eyes and staring up at Appa in surprise.
Iroh: Duh? Huh?
Appa is seen, who soars away from the ship, while Iroh helps Zuko, grunting angrily with effort, to heft himself back onto the deck.
Zuko: Shoot them down!
Y/N: Hold on, fuckers!
Zuko and Iroh standing on deck. Together, they synchronize a firebending move and fire a powerful blast at the bison. Sokka and Katara stare at the incoming attack in horror, I try to lead Appa to a different direction, but the fireball is heading right at us too quick. Then Aang leaps onto the saddle with me. He opens the small tail wing of his staff and swings his glider around, using a powerful swipe of air to redirect the fireball into a nearby cliff side.
The impact causes an avalanche of snow and ice to begin falling. Zuko looks up in horror at the event, raising one arm protectively. The front of the ship becomes buried in a mass of snow and ice, while Appa climbs higher and higher. Switch to a scene of the team, who laugh as they escape successfully. Aang waves goodbye as Appa disappears around the cliff.
The ship is seen with its bow stuck in the ice. Then Zuko, who is seen bending over in rage on the deck with Iroh erecting himself in the background.
Iroh: Good news for the Fire Lord. The Fire Nation's greatest threat is just a little kid.
Zuko lifts his head and rises while his uncle is speaking.
Zuko: That "kid", Uncle, just did this.
Zuko gestures to the damaged ship, the whole front covered in ice and snow.
Zuko: I won't underestimate him again. Dig the ship out and follow them!
Three Fire Nation soldiers are seen using their firebending to melt the icy encasings coating the three soldiers who were Katara's victims.
Zuko: As soon as you're done with that.
Cuts to Appa
Appa is seen, who soars lazily in the sky while the sun is beginning to set. Aang is perched on the rim of the saddle, while I lead him to the Southern Air Temple, and Sokka and Katara sit at the back of it.
Katara: How did you do that?! With the water? It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen!
Aang: I don't know. I just sort of ... did it.
Y/N: You're already this good with Waterbending and you didn't get to learn the proper techniques yet. Wait till you see how he does that.
Katara: Why didn't you tell us you were the Avatar?
Aang: Because...I never wanted to be.
Y/N: You never really trained the day you left, haven't you? You ran...right?
Aang can only fall silent, and he nods as I look at him. I sigh, and I turned to him.
Y/N: It's alright, Aang. Saving the world and all that is pretty tough shit.
Katara: But Aang, the world's been waiting for the Avatar to return and finally put an end to this war.
Aang: And how am I going to do that?
Y/N: Didn't you listen to Gyatso? According to legend, you need to first master water, then earth, then fire, right?
Aang: That's exactly what the monks told me.
Katara: Well, if we go to the North Pole, you can master waterbending!
Aang: We can learn it together!
Katara: And Sokka, I'm sure you'll get to knock some firebender heads on the way.
Sokka: I'd like that. I'd reeally like that.
Katara: And Y/N! You...huh, never really thought of this, but what do you wanna do?
Y/N: I am content if I get to defend my kin while fulfilling his destiny. I care not for idle things, and I aim to help my brother do what he must.
Katara: Wow...serious much?
Y/N: Sorry.
Cheerfully, Aang is seen pulling out a rolled up scroll.
Aang: All right, but before I learn waterbending, we have some serious business to attend to.
He uses airbending to situate himself onto the saddle and unrolls the scroll, revealing a map of the world.
Aang: Here, here and here.
While stating this, he points to three locations, two in the Earth Kingdom, one in Air Nomad territory.
Y/N: Damnit, Aang. We have better places to be at.
Curiously, Katara points to one of the locations.
Katara: What's there?
Aang points to the location in Earth Kingdom.
Aang: Here, we'll ride the hopping llamas.
Aang then points to the location in Air Nomad territory.
Aang: Then waaay over here, we'll surf on the backs of giant koi fish.
Katara and Sokka stare at him in wonder, while I just rub my temple, completely forgetting about what he's supposed to do.
Aang: Then back over here, we'll ride the hog monkeys.
The siblings glance at each other, while I groan.
Aang: They don't like people riding them, but that's what makes it fun!
Aang smiles enthusiastically, his eyes widened with excitement. I let out a sigh, as Appa is flying peacefully in the sky, sunbeams breaking through the clouds behind him. Then I remembered...those Fire Nation shit stains will be following us. So I stood from the saddle, and handed the leash to Aang.
Y/N: Aang, take the leash. I'll be back.
Aang: Where are you-
I cut him off, and I jumped off Appa. Sokka and Katara looks back, and sees me flying back to the direction we once went through.
Aang: Aaaand there he goes.
Katara: You're brother can get very insane, you know?
Aang: Yeah, but I love him! He's my bro! And my only best friend! And...pretty sure I'm his only best friend as well.
Katara: You two...never really got to have fun much...didn't you?
Aang: Yeah...but...but in Y/N's case?
I keep flying back to where the ship was, Aang's voice over is heard, saying;
Aang (v.o.): He has it worse.
Cuts to the Fire Nation Ship
Zuko: Finally! Set a course for the Air Nomad territory! We're going after the Avatar!
Zuko, at the corner of his eyes, he spots me, doing a swan dive from above. And a helmsman warned the crew, and shouts;
Helmsman: INCOMING!!!
I used my Airbending and blasted myself further and faster. Before I hit the deck, I pulled up, and with that, I sent a powerful Airblast underneath me, sending some of the Fire Nation soldiers overboard again. I then hovered for a moment, as they scramble to their battle stations. And I just watch...watch them squirm like the maggots they are. And I said, one thing;
Y/N: Pathetic insects.
I said, as I proceeded to propel myself forward, and I dove down again, seemingly getting faster by the second. The ship prepares to retaliate, I dove down to the water, and Zuko and Iroh goes to the deck and looks over the railings.
Zuko: Where is he?!
Then, as if on timing, I started rising from the water, and from underneath the ship, I snapped it in half, just by propelling myself forward using my Airbending, and my bare hands alone.
The ship snaps in half, the crew goes overboard, and Zuko can be seen swimming to a lifeboat. I scowled at him, and I started flying back to the others. Zuko got in the boat, with his Uncle already in, and a handful of Fire Nation soldiers as well.
Zuko: That man again?! How could one Airbender do so much damage to our ship?!
Iroh: That wasn't a normal Airbender, Prince Zuko.
Zuko: Then what was he, uncle?!
Iroh: He goes by the name, "The Mad Airbender".
Zuko: The Mad Airbender?! Impossible! Father said it was just a mere myth to scare the world in order for the Air Nomads safe!
Iroh: But you see, Prince Zuko, a person can do good or terrible deeds and actions. And those said action, will be told, and become stories. Stories become tales. Takes become legends. Legends become myths. And Myths...become reality. It is no mistake, that what you saw just now...is the prowess of the Mad Airbender himself.
Zuko: Whatever! I will have to keep him out of my way if I have to! Mad or not!
Iroh: Careful, Prince Zuko... you're treading in thin ice...and even thinner if you aim to go after the Mad Airbender as well...
Iroh said, as Zuko furiously used his Firebending, and blasts flame from the back of the boat. The boat started moving from the flame being expelled. They set course for Fire Nation, to get another frigate...
