A building exploded in a ring of fire, instantly killing all that was inside and surrounding it. This building was the headquarters of all good. Sadly it contained all of the world's best forces of good, and even more sadly, they were annihilated.

Except one.

The hero of this story, was running late to coming to the headquarters, as usual. But he stopped short as soon as he saw the damaged inflicted by the bomb. Wide eyed, he just stood there for what seemed like ages to him, but in reality was a few seconds. He began shaking as rain started pouring down.

His bangs shadowed his face as he looked down at the ground. "Re-Revenge..." he said finally. His shoulders were shaking. "Got r-revenge..." He looked up at the sky, tears streaming down his face.

Then, our main character started laughing. Laughing hysterically. Laughing so hard that he was crying. His shoulders were not shaking with sobs, it was laughter. "I FINALLY GOT MY REVENGE!!!" he called out to the sky. Lightning flashed against the stormy backdrop. He spread out his arms and yelled, "Now will you accept me, gods?"

Then, he was struck. By lightning.
