When I saw the boys leave after hearing the howl I had a sinking feeling something bad was going to happen. I got the kids inside where Emily, Carly, Sarah, Tessa, Kim, Rachel are in the kitchen while Renesmee and Clare are watching tv and Luke and Katie join them. After watching the kids awhile I went to the kitchen.

I go to the kitchen listening to what the girls are talking about. "I'm worried something maybe wrong. They've been gone for a long time." Emily states her features full of concern. I was worried to they have been gone a while but knowing Sam he wants to make sure the vampire is gone and none are lurking around.

All of a sudden my head started hurting more than this morning. I have been feeling crappy for the past few weeks. At first I thought I was getting the flu but it has been getting worse. I have tried my best from not telling anyone and just took ibuprofen or Advil for headaches and body aches.

I got up to stand but everything was spinning and I could barely keep my balance.

"Mommy, are you ok?" Katie asked nervously. I didn't want to worry her so I quickly responded,

"Yes sweetheart, mommy is fine. I'm just dizzy ok." I go to the kitchen and grab a glass of water. I see something flash by in the woods. Somehow I started smelling this awful disgusting smell. I look out the window and saw a vampire standing in the yard.

I went into protective mode and told everyone to get into the kitchen. Emily asked what was going on. "There is a vampire outside, I want everyone to stay here and not move from this spot." I said in more of an orderly voice. I saw concern, worry and most of all fear in everyone's eyes.

"No mommy pwease don't weave," Katie cried out scared.

"I promise...I will be back, I won't let anything hurt you none of you. Stay here behind the island counter and don't leave this spot no matter what." With that last part I went to the door and saw the vampire advance towards the house. I opened the door and said, "That's far enough."

He stopped in his tracks and smirked. I've seen him before but can't remember where exactly.
"Well well well, look what we have here, a gutsy kid." still smirking.

"If I was you, I wouldn't be standing here for long because there are some wolves who like tearing your blood sucking ass apart." I said grinning but noticed his smirk didn't falter. I grew nervous but didn't show it. Knowing that's the last thing to do is to show your enemy weakness.

"I don't think that will be happening anytime soon. You see, your mutts of friends are fighting my army. It's a diversion so I can come and kill the mutts weakness which is their imprints." He stated smiling the whole time.

"I won't let you, I will protect everyone even if it costs my life." I state confidently.

"Foolish child, I only care that those mutts and Cullens are out of our way. Even if it means killing every single one of you worthless pests." Hearing this made me really pissed. He snapped his fingers then three other vampires came out. One was tall and lean with light reddish brown hair. The others had muscle like Emmett but had dark brown hair. The one thing they all had in common was their Crimson eyes. "Kill all of them then report back to me, enjoy your meal boys." With that he was off.

The three blood suckers looked at me and had hunger in their eyes. "Stay away from the house if you know what's good for you," I hissed with venom laced in my voice. I'm glad I shut the door so the other girls wouldn't hear and so these idiots couldn't get in so easily.

The reddish brown haired one ran supper fast but I could still see him. I held my hand back and when he got close I socked him in the jaw. He was on the ground and my hand was in pain but I didn't let it show. They looked shocked but what he said next made me more pissed and my anger was ready to burst the top of the cap off of a pop bottle.

"When we're threw with you, no one can help the girls not even those flea bag of dogs. I will enjoy hearing their screams of pain begging to stop and the only way out is death." After he said that I saw red. Red covered my vision and I just noticed I was shaking badly like a bad earthquake. I felt my bones start breaking and pain followed but soon was gone. I opened my eyes and saw them almost piss their pants. I looked down and noticed I had no feet but instead I had paws, four white paws.

One of them came at me and I lunged and tackled him. I was trying to bite his head but was rammed in my side by something heavy. I landed on the ground with some ribs popping. I got up and saw two walking towards me and the other towards the door. I ran as fast as I could past the first two and rammed the third throwing him into a tree. I stood in front of the door protectively growling at the leeches.

They all three ran at me and I ran at them knowing it was stupid to take all three of them on. All three jumped on me and we rolled on the ground trying to get an advantage. I bit one on the arm and bit it completely off. He yelled then one kicked me in the back leg sending pain through my back leg. I tried to bit him but was getting punched and kicked. One picked me up and threw me against the tree hard.

My head was very sore and I opened my eyes to everything spinning. I got up and went after them and again we rolled but I managed to get my mouth on ones head and ripped it clean off. The reddish brown tried wrapping his hands around my head to snap my neck and I turned my head at the right moment and grabbed his arm. He yelled then punched my face which made me bite down harder. I twisted out of one guys grip and tore the red head apart limb from limb. The dark brown had his arms wrapped around my torso and squeezed crushing my ribs and other bones sending excruciating pain throughout my body. I howled out my pain but saw him try to break my neck by grabbing at it.

I dodged his hands then jumped well more like limped on his back pushing him to the ground. He tried pushing me off by thrashing and flailing around. When I got my teeth around his neck I bite down hard to get a good grip. He managed to throw me off but in the end I took his head with me. I hit the ground hard and rolled to wear I was on my side by the side of the house. I let out another howl that turned into a scream. I somehow was human and my clothes were on but just torn and shredded in certain spots.

I tried to curl up into a ball but couldn't when my right knee shot pain up through my leg and lower back. My left ankle was throbbing probably sprained. I tried to take in air but my lungs were hurting with each breath. I squeezed my eyes shut tight wincing in pain. I can't even close my right hand for some reason.

"Amy?!" I hear my name being called but couldn't respond with pain shooting throughout my whole body with every breath.

"Emily!" I hear Sam yell. Then I hear the door being thrown open and hear many pairs of feet running out of the house. I hear Sam asking what happened and Emily saying she doesn't know because she was in the house. It was quiet all of a sudden and I felt a pair of hands touch my side, by my ribs and I groaned out. I was still in a half ball position trying to make some pain go away but it wasn't working, at least not when you have pairs of hands trying to get you on your back.

"Paul go get my truck and bring it back here. Jared and Jake go get the spare mattress from the spare bedroom." I heard their feet leave the scene and Embry is trying to comfort me.

"Amy, I'm here amy everything's going to be okay," I opened my eyes a little bit to see the guys who didn't leave surround me, besides Seth, Brady and Collin. They we're trying to comfort my sisters who were crying. Emily had Clare, Rachel held Renesmee's hand, Kim held Katie who was also crying, and Leah was holding Luke who was on the verge of tears.

I hear the rumble of a truck stop a little ways from me. I heard something drop in the back of the truck. "Okay guys we're going to lift her carefully. Jake get in the bed of the truck so when we lift her up you can grab her and lay her down gently." I heard Jake jump up in the bed of the truck then heard pairs of feet walk closer to me.

I felt many hands go underneath me and I'm soon lifted into the air. I let a painful groan escape my lips and winced in pain. I felt hands underneath my shoulders help lay me down. I felt the space around me dip signaling that people are sitting next to me. I hear the door to the truck shut and heard the engine rev to life.

"Wait! Take this it'll keep her warm," I heard Emily's sweet voice say. I didn't even know I was shivering until something was laid over my body. I heard another car door shut and heard another cars engine come to life. I felt the truck jolt causing me to let out a small yelp of pain.

"Amy?...amy can you open your eyes," I open my eyes and see Embry next to me holding my left hand. Jake on my right, with Jared and Paul next to him. Quil, and Seth next to Embry.

"The girls....are they alright..safe," my voice very hoarse from my howl and scream from earlier.

"Yeah Amy everyone's safe," Embry says quietly.

"Amy what happened?" I look over to Jake but wincing in pain so I turned my head back to face Embry but more facing the side of the truck.

"Was in the kitchen...saw vampire in yard...got everyone in kitchen..behind counter....confronted him...he left and three others took his place....I tried to hold off...they wanted to hurt you guys......by killing all imprints," I said in between painful intakes of air. "I wasn't going to let them kill my family no matter what the cost was. Ever since my family moved here and we all became good friends...I consider everyone, all of you guys, the imprints and Cullens family.....family," I whispered the last part with black dots clouding my vision.

I saw tears running down the guys cheeks knowing all the guys even the ones in the car behind us probably heard too. Everything started spinning and the guy's faces started going blurry. Embry was holding my hand, I tried to squeeze his hand in reassurance but I couldn't feel my body. Darkness was consuming me and I was giving in no longer being able to hold on. I heard my name being called by many people but it sounded so far away. My eyes at the beginning were halfway shut and now are barely open.

No longer fighting the darkness I gave in, I can't even feel the excruciating pain I was in earlier. I was glad that the girls were alright and are safe. I told you Katie and Luke...that I wouldn't let anything hurt you...I promised....and I always keep my promises.........
