Tomorrow is the fight. The kids are in bed and here I am, laying my head on Embry's heated chest with my arm draped over his side. He had his arms circled around me sleeping soundly. I'm glad he could sleep, but I was just too scared about tomorrow. I am being forced to stay home, even though I can use my alpha command. What made me change my mind was Luke and Katie had asked me to not leave them. Most of all, was when Embry had asked me to stay. When I looked into his eyes I saw fear, worry, and lust.

"What's got you thinking to the point of not sleeping?" Embry mumbled sleepily. I sighed deeply and said,

"I'm worried about the fight." I sat up with my head in my hands frustrated. Embry sat up behind me.

"It's alright," he said rubbing soothing circles in my back. I closed my eyes and whispered,

"I wish we could avoid the fight that's soon to come." He sighed and kept rubbing my back. There was a long pause of painful silence. I turned to Embry and looked at him a with tears filling my eyes. "Promise...promise me you'll come back," I said my voice wavering.

"Oh Amy," Embry whispered with his arms out to me. I crawled into his arms and he held me close. I silently cried as he cooed soothing words to me. After a while of silence he spoke again, "Amy, I promise to come back. I will never and I mean never leave you."

I looked up from his chest and sniffled. He was looking down at me and leaned down so our faces got closer. He stopped short when our faces were just centimeters apart. I could feel his hot breath fanning on my face. I leaned up a little closer and soon the gap between us was closed. The kiss was like fireworks going off, it was amazing. Embry's hands left my sides traveling down to the hem of my shirt. He licked my bottom lip asking for entrance and I willingly gave to him.

Our tongues danced with each other as we explored each others mouths. He tugged my shirt up and broke the kiss for a short moment. After my shirt was pulled over my head his lips crashed onto mine. Soon the kiss turned into a heated make out session and we made love to each other once more. Soon we both were sound asleep not even thinking of tomorrow's events.

(Next Day)
I woke up to a kiss on my lips. Ivy eyes fluttered open and I saw Embry already to go.

"Come on, it's time to go." Embry said. I pushed the covers off me and went to the closet. Embry went and got the kids ready while I got dressed. I grabbed a black sweatshirt, jean shorts and black converse. I just left my hair down and walked downstairs to see Liam and Lilly are in their carriers. Luke and Katie are standing by the door ready to go. Embry came in from the kitchen with the baby bag. "Alright let's roll to Sam and Emily's." I walked over and got Lilly and Embry got Liam. Once we were all buckled in the car we set off.

When we got to Emily's everyone was here. Even Billy, Sue, Tiffany, my parents, the imprints, and the Cullens. Katie and Luke ran inside and Embry and I got the little ones. When we got inside my mom and Tiffany held the twins. I looked around and saw fear in everyone's eyes and I could tell Jasper was using his ability on everyone besides his family and the pack.

"It's time," Carlisle said lowly and headed out the door, soon everyone followed and I just prayed that everything would be alright. I watched them walk till they were out of sight and then join the others into the living room. Poor Emily was cooking as that was the only way to make her feel better. The kids were watching sponge bob as the adults were talking. I sat there in silence not knowing what's happening or what's going on. I stared out the window waiting for them come back.

"Amy, you ok?" I turned and noticed it was Tessa. I smiled at her and faced the window once more.

"Yeah I'm fine," I responded. Tessa spoke again a few moments later saying,

"Amy they're fine. They're tough and will come back here shortly." She said reassuringly. I looked at the clock on the wall and noticed that they have been gone for two and a half hours.

"Tess, they have been gone for more than two hours. They would've been back at least an hour and a half ago." After I said that my stomach started to hurt. I wrapped my arms instinctively around my stomach and groaned in pain. Something was wrong and I had to get there fast.

"Amy! What's wrong?" Kim asked. I stood up and walked to the door.

"I have to go...something's wrong. They need my help," with that said I ran to the woods.

"Amy!" I heard a chorus of the imprints and just ran. I phased before I even ran into the woods. I heard three more sets of paws running behind me knowing exactly who it was. I turned my head just a little bit and saw my sisters in wolf form running right on my heels.

'Amy, what's wrong? Why did you take off like that?' Carly's voice rang in my head. I just kept running not wanting to waist anymore time.

'Amy!' I heard my sisters chorus in my head. I kept running but soon replied,

'They're in trouble. I had a really strong gut feeling that something was wrong, and my gut is never wrong! When we get there I want you guys to stand in front of everyone and attack anything that gets past me.' I just ran faster with the girls catching up.

'But Amy-' Sarah said but I interrupted with fear and panic in my voice.

'Do you understand!' I yelled back and got answers that vary from yes or alright. I didn't mean to sound rude but I was in panic mode, with fear and anger. With those three main emotions pumping through my body made me sprint faster. I just hope I'm not too late...

~~(Narrative)~~
The pack and Cullens are standing at the end of the field waiting for the Volturi to make their appearance. They didn't have to wait long. Soon black cloaks come out of the trees. There were many and outnumbered them. Aro walked a couple feet from his group and said,

"What a pleasant surprise. We come and are met with a coven of vampires and a pack of mutts." This earned a few growls from the wolves.

"Why are you truly here Aro? We have done nothing wrong so why?" Carlisle asks. Aro smiled a sick grin and so did Caius. He was one that loved fights and show that he has power.

"We have information that a powerful being is somewhere around these parts. We are simply here to look and take her back with us." Aro stated.

The pack and Cullens know what Aro was talking about. Many of them growled in protest and Edward spoke,

"She's not here as you can see." Aro turned to Demetri and asked,

"Demetri, is that mutt here?" Demetri shook his head and Caius growled in frustration.

"Brother we are wasting our time. Let's just roam the state till we find her and kill her." Caius intervened. Embry growled loudly but stayed put. He wasn't going to let anyone hurt or kill his imprint.

"Patience Caius, we come for the shifter. Once we have more information about her then we will decide to kill her or not." Aro added.

"I won't let you near her!" Everyone faced Rosalie who had just yelled at them for speaking about her close friend in such way. Emmett looked at her and noticed her eyes were filled with love, anger, and fear.

"You are very close to her," Marcus had actually said something out of this whole debate. Aro looked at Rosalie and was in deep thought. The field fell into a deep intimidating silence. The pack and Cullens were on edge of what was about to occur.

"I'm sure if we caused the people close to her harm, she will come out of hiding." Aro said aloud. Rosalie stiffened and went to take a move but Emmett put his arm out stopping her. "Jane" Jane looked at many of the useless people I front of her and started to cause them pain.

Bella made a shield to protect them but was too late as Aro gave the order and the vampires on the Volturi side made war cries and ran to fight. The Cullens ran in and the pack joined in as well. Soon bodies of newborns were all over the field. Jane saw an opening and made Rosalie fall to the ground in pain. The Cullens and pack members were back at the end of the field with Rosalie just a couple of feet in front of them. If they tried to make a move Alec would use his ability to make them back off.

Felix walked up to Rosalie to give the finishing blow as Rosalie laid helplessly on the ground. Felix brought his hand down to hopefully break her neck so her head would fall of but was rammed really hard and thrown across the field.

Rosalie looked up and saw a white wolf as pure and snow standing in front of her growling.

~~~~(Amy's POV)~~~~
I ran to the field where the fight was and saw that a vampire was about to kill Rosalie. I ran and hit him so hard he flew across the field hitting a tree. I skidded to a halt in front of Rosalie and growled at the leeches in front of me. I heard my sisters skid to a halt in front of everyone as Emmett grabbed Rosalie and brought her back to the others.

"Ah so your the powerful shifter," a guy with black hair said who I figured out was Aro by reading his thoughts. I just growled at him. I mind linked Bella saying,

'Bella, make a shield that protects all of you, including the pack and my sisters. I don't want any of you to get involved,'

'I can do that, but why?' She asked getting confused. Really Bella, the answer is literally right in front of you.

'Because I'm going to fight while you guys stand back.' I respond. After telling her I mind linked everyone at once saying, 'if and when I do fight, I want you guys to not interfere.'

'Amy that's ridiculous I'm not-' I interrupted Sam.

'I said to not interfere and to stand down until I say so!' I didn't take my eyes off of Aro or anyone else for that matter that's in front of me. I noticed the leech that has been lingering around the past week or so was here. He must have seen me looking at him and smirked.

"That's her Aro," I just growled louder. These guys were making my anger boil over.

"You are powerful and could be used for a good cause. Come with us and we won't hurt anyone," Aro said in demanding tone.

'Over my dead body,' I growled in his head. He looked taken back probably because I could talk to him through thoughts.

"Have it your way, Felix will you do the honors." Aro said gesturing his hand towards me. A tall leech that was standing next to Demetri came forward. He did a curt nod and then ran at me. I took a step forward and snarled at him.he. Came at me with a fist pulled back ready to inflict pain but when he got close to me I jumped and took hold of his fist.

When his fist was in my jaws I pulled him backwards and he landed with a thud. When I pulled my head back I heard a yell from Felix. I looked down to see I took his hand. He jumped up and charged at me and hit my ribs. I closed my eyes and breathed in. He came at me but I dodged him and jumped on his back in surprise and latched my jaw around his neck. I pulled up as my paws pushed down and ripped his head clean off.

I went to turn around but was rammed really hard in the side with a couple of pops from my ribs. I was air borne and landed into a tree. I slid down the trunk and landed on the hard ground in pain. I whimpered and saw Embry try to come over to me so I growled and told him to stop. I didn't want him to get hurt. I go to stand up but wince in pain. I look up and saw that it was Demetri who hit me.

Demetri came at me again and I snapped my jaw at him. He wrapped his arms around me and we rolled on the ground. I got him off but when I went to stand but was met with a pain rippling up my leg. I growled out in pain and fell to the ground. Demetri went to walk away satisfied with his little victory. I attempted to stand twice but my leg told me otherwise. On the third try I was able to fully stand but not on my left front leg.

"You never give up do you?" Aro said in awe as I limped to the middle of the field. Demetri turned around and ran at me once more. I didn't flinch or move as I was not scared. He got really close and I just fell over on top of him. Using my strength and weight to make it so he wasn't able to move. Demetri kept throwing fist after fist on my already beaten form. I lifted my head and slammed it down on Demetri's head. When he paused to grab his head I got up and took my paw and swiped at his face. I took in the damage and noticed I took half his face with my claws. To finish the job I limped to his face and put my paw on his face. I put all of my weight onto my front paw and heard the sound of porcelain break. I look down and saw I had disconnected his head from his shoulders.

"You're a monster" I looked up and saw Caius run towards me with anger in his eyes. Aro had joined him and both ran at me. I stood there not letting them intimidate me. They both collided with me breaking a few more bones. I just laid there letting them lay punch after punch, kick after kick. When they were done thinking I was dead, they both stood just a few centimeters from my face. I heard many growls from behind me, and when Caius got close to my face I sprung up and grabbed him, killing him instantly.

I jumped up and pinned Aro to the ground. I looked straight ahead at the remaining blood suckers in front of me. I looked at Marcus and said,

'Now I'm giving you a choice. You can fight me and die just like these idiots here, or leave and never come back.' Marcus sighed and was debating but I continued. 'I have seen the future and let me tell you, you would do a lot better than with these two ordering around with you on the sidelines. Trust me in the near future something great will happen and you won't regret it.' After I said that I made it so I was talking to all of them and said with the pack and Cullens listening in. 'Marcus is the new ruler of you guys. If there is trouble that is getting out of hand I will be there to end it. I suggest that you never come back here unless you want to die. Now leave and never come back. I am giving you a choice and I suggest you make the right one.' I finished giving them all a glare. After a few moments of intense silence Marcus spoke,

"We shall return to Italy and back to our lives." They turn to leave but Marcus stopped and turned to me and said in thought knowing I could hear him. 'Thank you,' I gave him my best smile and he gave a curt nod. He turned around and left to never be seen again. I looked down at the wiggling figure below my paws and leaned down slowly. Once my jaw was at the side of his face, my sharp teeth were right next to his sickly pale skin. I saw his eyes widen in fear and I slowly went in for the kill. When I heard his glass like skin break I threw his head to the side. I threw my head up and howled out in victory.

The pain that I had pushed to the side had made its appearance. I swayed losing my balance and fell on my side with a loud thud of my body hitting the hard ground. I heard many pairs of feet come up to me but was too tired to lift my head to see who. I smelled smoke so I know some are burning the dead bodies of the leeches. I felt a pair of cold hands touch my fur and whimper. I knew it was Carlisle figuring out the damage my body sustained. I felt warm hands lift my head and was placed onto a lap. With the tingles I got, I knew it was Embry. I sighed a deep sigh and looked into his brown eyes that I love.

The pain was beginning to be unbearable and I whined and whimpered. I took in sharp intakes of breath to not hurt my screaming lungs. My body was so sore and tired I had no energy to move.

"Why Amy, just why?" Rosalie said on the verge of tears if she could cry. I could only reply in a whine of pain. But I heard Jake say under his breath,

"The protector would do anything to protect people, even loved ones." Jake hit the nail on the head. My vision was starting to fade and black dots were seen. The pain was so bad I couldn't handle it anymore and was about to be consumed by darkness. My breathing and heart slowing down. My eyes started to slowly shut and I was scared that once shut, they won't open again. Before my eyes shut I saw my lover one last time and closed my eyes. I was scared that a lone tear escaped my eye and fell down my cheek.
