I wake up to the sun shining in my eyes. I went to roll over but couldn't feeling something wrapped around my waist. I look and see an arm holding me to a warm chest. I follow the arm and see Embry laying next to me. I smile looking at his face, he looks so peaceful. I tried to move his arm without waking him up but didn't go as planned.

Hi eyes fluttered open and he looked down at me. He smiled, "Good morning beautiful,"

"Morning handsome," I replied back.

"I have to go do patrol maybe we can hangout later?"

"Sounds good, see you then."

I was getting ready for the day, because today I was babysitting Clare and Renesmee. Ever since the boys told me and my sisters about them being shifters, Quil and Jake would ask if I could watch them until their patrol is over. I love kids I always babysat my sisters when we were little, I even babysat other kids when I lived in Florida.

Around 2 o'clock I heard the doorbell ring. I went to the door and saw Jake with Renesmee and Quil with Clare.

"Thanks Amy for watching the girls while we run patrol," Jake spoke.

"No problem, my parents are at work, and the girls are with their wolf boys." I said taking Clare from Quil who was handing her to me. Renesmee hung to Jakes hand, she was probably scared but I met her before. I know she and her family are vampires and I'm okay with it because they don't hurt people. "Hey Renesmee, want to watch a movie?" I said with a smile. She nodded and walked over to me. The boys left and we watched them leave until they were out of sight.

We watched a movie and played outside for a bit when the girls started to get hungry. I went to the kitchen and cooked Mac and cheese and some juice for the girls. Afterwards they were looking a little tired so they laid down on the couch.

Renesmee laid her head on my thigh while I held Clare trying to get her to sleep. They looked bored and Renesmee asked,

"Can you sing a song?"

"Sure what song would you like?" She thought for a moment but said anything. So I thought for few minutes and decided to sing 'White Horse' by Taylor swift. It was a soft song and I started singing it just like Taylor but a little softer. Clare was asleep half way through the song and Renesmee was trying to keep her eyes open. After I finished she said tiredly,

"Thanks, it was nice..." And she drifted off to sleep. Around 4 or 5 o'clock the doorbell rang and I got up to answer it with Clare still in my arms dead asleep. I looked back over at the couch and noticed Renesmee was still asleep wrapped in a blanket I put on her earlier.

I I opened the door and saw Quil and Jake standing there. I motioned for them to come in and when they came in they were confused with it being so quiet. "Is Clare asleep, and how was she for you?" Quil asked with concern in his eyes for his imprint.

"They both were great, we had a lot of fun. Around 3 o'clock they were getting tired, so we laid on the couch for awhile and they fell asleep. I enjoyed having them over," I said quietly as to not wake Clare or Renesmee up. Jake went over to Renesmee and picked her up and I heard her mumble something. Quil went to take Clare from me but she just grabbed my shirt a little tighter not wanting to leave. I was able to move her a little and let Quil take her. The boys said thanks again and left.

------------(Time Skip to 3 Weeks Later)--------------

I have been spending more time with the guys, Leah, Emily, the imprints and especially Embry. I care about them so much they are family to me and I mean it. Later today Embry, Quil, and I were going to hang out so we went to town and watched a movie. After the movie we started getting hungry so we were going to a pizza place but walked there. After walking a couple of blocks through neighborhoods we were walking past one and I had this weird feeling. I heard someone saying 'help me'.

I was looking around but didn't see anyone besides Embry, Quil, and a bunch of houses. We kept walking but I heard the voice again and followed it. I was getting curious on who is saying help me and kept on running. When I got to where the voice was coming from I looked to see I was lead to a house on fire.

Embry and Quil caught up to me I heard the voice and again. The voice sounded scared, I instantly turned to the guys and said, "Call 911," and with that I ran into the house. I heard them tell my name but kept walking around the house. I looked at my surroundings and saw glimpses of furniture through thick smoke, so I must be in the living room I thought. I heard coughing and turned to see a child in the corner in a ball.

I went to him and put my hand on the child's shoulder. The kid tensed but looked at me and I noticed it was a boy. "It's ok I'm going to get you out of here," he nodded then threw his arms around me and I picked him up. I ran for the front door and was once again outside with the boy in my arms coughing. I set him on the ground to stand up but he grabs my arm. I looked down at him and saw him about to cry.

"My sister is in there, I need to go back for her." He tried to get up but I stopped him.

"No, you stay here, I will get your sister I promise." He stared at me then nodded. I turned and ran back into the house before the guys could grab me. I yelled out "Is anybody in here," I got no response. I strained my ears and heard a faint coughing noise from upstairs. I ran and went up the stairs as fast as I could. I saw many doors but one was open and I ran in. I saw a small figure on the floor. I ran over to the figure and saw a little girl. I picked her up and said, "Keep your head down, everything will be ok I promise."

I went to leave the room but saw a tall figure in the hallway. The figure turned towards me as if it knew I was watching him. What I saw made my eyes go wide and made my heart stop beating. I saw those blood red eyes, the same ones from my dream. He smiled then left as quick as he was there. I remembered I was in a fire with a little girl and ran out as fast as I could. I was just about to make it to the door but the ceiling caved in.

I saw the window and ran for it. When I was close I tucked the girl close to my body and jumped through the window hearing the glass shatter around me. I landed on the dark green grass and stood up and ran over to the boy and they guys. I could faintly hear sirens off in the distance. I walked over to the boy and put the girl next to him.

The girl wouldn't let go of me so I held her and the boy stood next to me. They both were scared and I calmed them both down by saying soothing words and soon they were calm but the little girl was sniffing.

"What are your names?" I asked the little girl had her head in my chest and the boy looked up at me saying,

"My names Luke and that's my sister Katie," he said pointing to his sister. The sirens grew closer and soon fire trucks, an ambulance, and some police men were here. Paramedics came and checked the kids over then me, but I insisted that I was fine and just make sure that they are ok.

"Amy? Can you tell me what happened here tonight." Chief Swan asked. My family knows him and I know Bella but still my dad and him are good friends.

"We were walking by when I heard someone yell 'help me'. I ran in the direction I heard it and saw the house on fire. I told Embry and Quil to call 911 and ran in to the house, I walked around to what I think was the living room and saw the boy and brought back outside. He told me his sister was in the house and I ran back in and found her upstairs. I picked her up and ran down the stairs to go outside but the ceiling caved in and blocked the door. I saw the window and jumped through it and waited till you guys arrived." I said leaving out some details to think on my own.

"Ok thanks we will call if we need anything."

"Thanks Charlie," I said then went to find Katie and Luke. Katie was crying but the paramedics couldn't calm her so I went over. Once she saw me she held her arms out to me and I picked her up. "It's ok, these guys will help you get well. I promise," she started crying like she didn't want me to leave.

"Ok miss we need to take them to the hospital to make sure everything is good," one of the paramedics said. I handed Katie to him and she looked at me with sadness and mostly fear in her eyes. I also saw the same in Luke's eyes and I instantly felt terrible. I had this urge to protect them I watched as they were hauled to the hospital.

"Come on Amy let's head back to Sam's," Embry said tugging on my hand and soon were on our way to Sam's.
