~~~~(Aurora's POV)~~~~
When I looked up to see who I ran into, I froze in my spot. Emmett stood there looking down at me.

"U-uncle Emmett?" Did he hear the conversation my friends and I had? Oh please, I hope not.

"Hey Aurora," Emmett said like nothing had just happened. I was growing very nervous and panicking. My palms are getting sweaty and my heart rate is racing. I have to calm down now!

"What are you doing here and where's aunt Rosalie?" I asked. At first I thought I saw a flash of panic in his eyes, but I may have imagined it.

"Oh she's shopping, I'm just wandering around since I hate shopping." As if on que aunt Rosalie walks up to us.

"Hey Aurora," Rose said as she kissed uncle Emmett. Emmett wrapped an arm around her waist.

"Hi aunt Rose," I said with a smile. She looked behind me and saw my friends.

"Aurora, are they your friends?" Rose gestured to Megan and Cole behind me.

"Yes uncle Emmett and aunt Rosalie, these are my friends Megan and Cole. They are just visiting for awhile." Megan and Cole introduced themselves. "So what did you get Rose?"

"Oh just some things for the party that were having in a few days." Party? I didn't hear nothing about a party, then again nobody tells me much. Then I realized that they could have heard about my secret.

"I'm sorry to cut this short but we have to go. See you guys later!" I bid farewell to Emmett and Rose, and tried to get Megan and Cole out of there quickly. Once we were about a block or two away, I stopped.

"Aurora, do you mind explaining what happened back there?" Megan asked. I turned around, and made sure no one was around.

"I'm sorry, it's...it's just that if they heard anything that we discussed about." I explained. It's not only that, but I think I'm being followed. I've had a feeling that someone is watching me, constantly.

"Look Aurora, they're gonna find out eventually. Why not just tell them now and get it over with?" Cole stated. He's right, but I'm just afraid.

"Like I said earlier, I'm afraid too. Now let's drop it and have some fun." That's just how the rest of our day went. We went to a movie 'Daddy's Home', ate ice cream, and just talked. I noticed while we were having fun, that there were people following us. I know Megan or Cole didn't see it, but I did.

While we were having ice cream, I noticed that across the street a group of people were staring at us. I didn't let them notice that I was watching them, but I recognized them after they continued to follow us. It was the pack!

Then it made all sense, bumping into Emmett and Rose! They were following me, and then they had the others follow me too! The question is why? Did Emmett over hear my secret and tell?

"Hey Aurora, it's getting late. We're going to take you home and then head back to the hotel." Cole said bringing me out of my thoughts. I only nodded and was getting tired anyway. We got in the car and headed to my house, and when we arrived no one was home. Thank gawd!

I went upstairs and changed into some pj's and got in bed. It took me awhile, but I was soon able to fall asleep.

~~~~(Jesse's POV)~~~~
I was at the Cullen's house as they called a meeting. We were waiting for a few more pack members to show up as they were keeping a close eye on Aurora. Shortly Caleb and Stephan showed up.

"Where's Aurora?" I asked.

"She's home, we saw the lights turn off." Caleb answered. I nod my head and Carlisle begins the meeting.

"Okay, I called this meeting to discuss about the activity of those rogue vampires. Two years ago, we would spot one every couple of weeks. Now it's to the point we see them twice a day. They started showing up more when Aurora came back. So it has to be about her, but I can't figure out what." Carlisle spoke.

"I think until we figure what they want, we need to keep close tabs on Aurora." Sam stated. Many nod their heads in agreement.

"If we keep tailing her, she's bound to notice. She's not dumb guys." Flora spoke. Emmett sat there on the couch not making eye contact with anyone. Does he know something, that he isn't telling us?

"Emmett, is there something you would like to tell us?" Edward questioned from the corner of the room. Emmett sighed and spoke,

"When I was following her today, I overheard her conversation and ran into her. I think she made us, but she was antsy. I think she's hiding something." He stated plainly.

"What could she be hiding? I mean we are her family, why would she keep something from us?" Esme asked concerned.

"I don't know, but I heard her tell her friends not to tell. Whatever it is, it must be bad." Emmett added.

"I can always read her friends minds if we have no other choice." Edward chimed in.

"No, then she'll never trust us." Esme said. Just listening to everyone talk about my imprint made my heart clench. All I ever ask for, is for Aurora to be safe. What do those damn leeches want with her?

"Alright it's settled then. Until we know what these rogue vampires want with Aurora, at least two or three of us need to be with her at all times. We'll take shifts, and she can't find out about this or we risk her being in more danger." Carlisle stated.

After the meeting my best friends Tobey and Ryan ran home with me. It was our shift first and I was glad it was me and my friends. When we got to the house we walked in. It was eerily quiet, but Stephan and Caleb said she was asleep.

"I'm going upstairs, you guys can stay in the guest rooms." I said to them as we went our separate ways at the top of the stairs. I opened the bedroom door, and my gaze fell on the bed. The bed appeared to have been slept in, but there was no sign of Aurora.

I started to panic, and heard a very quiet whimper. My head snapped to the bathroom door that was ajar. I walked to the door and peered in the dark bathroom. I could faintly see the outline of a person on the floor.

In my state of panic, I turned the bathroom lights on. There on the floor lay Aurora in her black shorts, and black short sleeve shirt. She was next to the toilet passed out. I shifted next to her and saw that her light skin was covered in beads of sweat.

She was panting for air, and eyes were closed. I noticed there was vomit in the toilet. Was she getting sick? I placed my hand on Aurora's shoulder and lightly shook her calling her name.

"Aurora.....Aurora?" She just kept whimpering. "Come on babe wake up." I keep trying to talk to her but she just whimpered. I guess Tobey and Ryan heard as they were standing in the doorway.

"What happened?" Ryan asked.

"I don't know, I come into the room to see it empty. I heard a whimper and found her like this. There's vomit in the toilet, but I can't get her to wake up." I responded.

"Jesse..." I heard a very quiet raspy voice call out. I looked down and saw Aurora's eyes were barely open.

"I'm here babe," I said rubbing her hair at the top of her head. How long has she been in here? Is she getting sick?

"Jesse...I'm..really thirsty.." She said in between breaths. Tobey left, I'm assuming to get Aurora a glass of water. I gently picked her up and noticed she was light. Okay I know I can easily pick her up, but I mean she weighs like nothing at all.

I carefully sat her on the bed, when Tobey comes back in with a glass of water. Aurora tried to hold the glass but, her arms kept shaking. I took the glass and placed it at her lips. I tipped it so it would just slide down her throat. Once she was done, her breathing slowly returned to normal.

"I'm tired Jesse," just by the sound of her voice I knew she was tired. I laid her down and covered her up. I looked to my right side and saw concerned looks on Tobey's and Ryan's faces. We were all confused as to why the sudden change in health.

"I'll stay with her guys, get some sleep. I'll see you in the morning. Night." The guys said night and left. I went to my side of the bed and laid down next to Aurora. I gently placed my arm protectively around her. Soon I fell asleep to the slow breathing from Aurora.

I woke up to see daylight peeking through the window. I looked down to see Aurora still sleeping. I could hear her breathing softly. I got out of bed carefully as to not wake her up. I made my way downstairs where Tobey and Ryan were at.

"Hey guys," I said walking to the fridge grabbing eggs and bacon. I quickly made breakfast for us and ate. Once we were done, we went to the living room and watched tv. I couldn't get the image of how bad Aurora looked last night.

"Hey Jesse?" I looked to my left and saw that Ryan was talking to me.

"Yeah?" I responded.

"How's she doing?" I knew he was talking about Aurora. I can sense the worry lacing his voice.

"She was sleeping when I woke up." I responded.

"Dude, do you think she's okay? I mean last night was kinda frightening." Tobey stated.

"I know man, this is like the second time I've found her like that."

"What do you mean Jesse?" Tobey questioned.

"The second night she was here, when that leech showed up. As soon as we came home, she went to bed. I went to bed later that night. At 3 o'clock in the morning I heard glass shatter downstairs. I quickly ran down to the kitchen and saw her on the floor twitching and gasping for air. She finally calmed down after awhile." I said.

After awhile of an intense silence, Ryan spoke,

"Should we call Carlisle and inform him of Aurora's situation? Maybe she's getting sick and he can give her something?"

Is she getting sick? Or is there something else that's wrong and she isn't telling me?

"I don't know, knowing Aurora she'll say she's fine. Let's just see how she is for the rest of the day. If she is still feeling sick, we'll tell Carlisle." I told them. They nod their heads in agreement. Around ten o'clock Caleb, Stephan, and Caden showed up. They were gonna stay here while Tobey, Ryan, and I ran patrol.

"When we get back, let me know how she is. She was sick last night." They nod their heads and we left. Once we were a few feet in the trees, we phased and you can hear the pounding of our paws on the ground.

~~~~(Aurora's POV)~~~~
I woke up to see light peeking through the curtains. I looked around to see that Jesse isn't beside me. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 12:08 p.m. I get out of bed, swaying in the process.

I walk down the stairs to get something to drink and possibly eat. Once I get to the living room, I noticed Caleb, Stephan, and Caden were sitting and watching tv. Caden was the first to acknowledge my presence.

"Morning," Caden said as I waved back.

"Morning? It's after noon." I stated yawning. After last nights spell, my body is extremely exhausted.

"To us yeah, but since you woke up its morning for you." Caleb said. I just shake my head and walk to the kitchen. I grab a glass and pour milk, and taking a few sips. I grabbed a banana and took small bites.

As I was eating, my gaze wandered out the window. I feel like as each day passes, my secret is closer to being out in the open. It's not that I don't want to tell them. I'm afraid of what they'll say and act. I don't want anyone treating me differently.

How would I even tell them? Once my secrets out, then everything comes out. And I mean everything. I'm pulled out of my thoughts from a tight pain in my chest. I place my left hand on my chest as if that would help relieve the pain.

The pain increases as I try to breathe. In my struggle to calm my nerves and stop the attack that was coming, I dropped my glass of milk. Upon hearing the shatter of the glass, I hear feet rush to the kitchen.

"Aurora, are you okay?" I hear Caleb ask. I groan in pain and I lose my balance. I felt arms catch me, and was gently placed on the cold tiled ground. It hurts to breathe, and I hear the guys talking as they have no clue in what to do.

My mouth started to water and get sour. My stomach churned and was feeling like something was coming up. As the sour taste increased, I knew what was coming. I tried to get up, but after a few attempts I managed and ran to the bathroom.

I just barely made it to the bathroom when my stomach contents filled the toilet. My body lurched forward as I kept throwing up. I could feel my body begin to sweat as I continued to vomit. During the whole fiasco, I didn't hear the others come in until a warm hand was rubbing my back.

My bones, muscles, head, and just basically my whole body was hurting. My body was leaning against the toilet for support, as a wave of tiredness washed over me. I just wanted to go lay down and sleep for a few days.

"Hey, you okay?" I think it was Stephan who asked. I nod my head.

"Yeah, I just need to sleep. I either caught a bug, or its food poisoning." I tried to stand up, but my body wouldn't respond. I felt arms wrap around me and lift me to the bed. Once I was placed on the bed, I was covered up with blankets.

"Just rest, if you need anything we're downstairs." Stephan said. I just meekly nod my head.

"Thank you guys," I barely whispered before I fell asleep.
