~Percy's POF~

Percy threw on his clothes, his heart beating out of his chest. Granted, he never knew Laurel that well, but she was still..... well, important. Throwing a last look at his boyfriends perfect ass before a pair of jeans were tugged over it.

Jason stood at the door, panting heavily, still unable to form a complete sentence. But so far, Percy had put together what he said, somewhat at least

They found her, she's in the hospital, and she hasn't changed, Laurel's back. After a year of thinking that she was dead. Why wasn't that surprising?

Percy went through going somewhere deeeeeep down, his boyfriend was almost raped by some weirdo, and a gazillion other shitty bumps in the road. Sorry, not bumps, they were fudging mountains.

Grabbing his phone and wallet, Percy, Nico and Jason sped off, this time taking the car.

Speeding off towards the hospital, Percy came up with different possibilities, Did Laurel have amnesia? Maybe she was in a coma.... or...... no, lets not think about that.

Bolting out of the car, the boys took three steps at a time up to the hospital room, the only people waiting at the front were two teenagers, around 15 or 16, they looked like twins, and Leo. Who had his hands over his face, his fingers in his curly dark hair.

When Jason wheezed out a "We're here." Leo's head shot up and he jumped into Jason's arms, embracing each other, Leo held onto Jason's shirt, clutching hard.

"What happened?" Nico asked, looking at the door like it was the only thing shielding him from a monster.

"I was just-" Leo took a deep breath to stop the shivering in his voice "I was just walking out of the house to meet with Jason at the park, and I got a call, from the hospital, I got here, and I saw her. She'd been running out and I freaked out and hit her in the head with the book in my hand, I knocked her out, and the doctors told me it was her, and I fainted, and she was brought back to the room where she could be tested, and then I met the people who found her.... and then, I kind of smacked the girl in the face, and........... then Jason went to get you guys." Leo said, then remembering something he took in a sharp breath "What the hell took you so long?" Leo asked loudly, glaring at Percy

"Um... Me and Nico were...uh.... erm...." Percy said, a dark blush creeping up his neck.

Realizing what Percy was getting at, Leo coughed into his fist and looked away "Oh."

Jason looked at the door "Any sign?"

It took an hour. A freaking hour for the door to open and the doctor came out, looking somewhat tense. Leo looked to him eagerly "Is she.... ok?" He asked hesitantly, his eyes full of nervousness and anxiety.

The Doctor sighed "Her health is perfect, but she seems to have gone through a lot of trauma and..... well, it seems she has amnesia."

Leo choked and his eyes constricted like a deer in the headlights. Jason looked at him with worry tinting his eyes.

Percy stared at the doctor in awe.

"She doesn't remember a thing, only her name. She also seems to have PTSD.... May I ask a question Mr. Valdez?" The doctor asked softly.

Leo looked up with teary eyes "Yes, you can."

The doctor forced himself to look away, and Percy's heart sped up to a kagillion miles per hour. "How many scars did she have when you last saw her?"

Leo shrugged sluggishly "Not many. Five or six at most." Leo said, rubbing away tiny tears.

Percy felt his mouth dry when the next words slipped from the doctors lips. "All over her arms and legs, it seems she's gotten hurt quite a few times..... Are you sure she had just five or six?" He asked

Leo thought about it, his eyes like hurricanes. Percy felt his body go numb with his brain overriding, his breath hitching, and his thoughts bursting with ideas on what had happened in the last year to Laurel.

"I'm sure." Leo said, his voice a squeak.

The doctor looked to the two kids. They looked exactly alike. Both with pitch black hair, and dark blue eyes, nearly pale skin and wearing jeans and a tee shirt. The only real difference was that the girl had boobs and the guy didnt, also the girl's hair was messy and all over the place, when the guy's hair was well-tidied and pointing at the top like Tin-Tin.

"These two claim that they found her in an abandoned house in the forest. Lying almost dead." The doctor said, they nodded in sync, the girl looking over the boys, checking them out before her brother nudged her in the ribs and she blushed a deep red.

"Thank you." Leo said,

The girl smiled kindly "Of course. She must be very special to you, if your this worried about her." She said, her voice was kind, like a mother's but it held a hint of... something, but not something good.

The doctor left after explaining a few things, and the boys talked with the girl, the boy didn't seem to want to speak.

"Can your brother... um, talk?" Nico asked, Percy eyed the male twin suspiciously

The girl, who they later found out was named Lawrence, but prefered to be called Lance, her brother's name is Liam.They are twins, but Lance admits that Liam is normally thought of as the older brother. Lance is really nice, and a good listener, as well as a talker.

Lance broke into a grin "Yeah, he can, but he normally chooses not to... he's not big into socializing." She said, Liam bobbed his head once. Keeping a straight face.

A nurse opened the door and looked down the hallway, her eyes landing on the teens, she smiled and said in a low voice "You can come in, but be quiet, she's sleeping."

Leo jumped up and raced into the room, Percy stood up and followed Jason in, Nico at his side. Percy looked around the room, monitors, a tray with small scalpels and tweezers, then, laying in a soft ray of sunshine was Laurel. 

Her skin the same peachy color, freckles sprinkled all over her nose, bandages were wrapped around her chest, and even more freckles were spread out over her shoulders, going down her arms and stopping at her elbows. Her face looked relaxed, her mouth was slightly open, a small crack that made her resemble a kitten in a way. Her body was covered in a blanket. 

But only real differences, were that, her hair was short now, almost like Nico's hair, messily shaggy, but her dark orange hair was thrown all over the place, like she stuck her head out of the window before she got here. The scars of different shapes and sizes littered her skin. It looked like she tried to fight a group of tigers and a train.

But one thing stuck out more than the other differences, it was the black tattoo on the side of her neck.

Around the tattoo were tons of dots. But they didn't look random, they looked like someone put them there for a reason. What reason though? Percy stared at Laurel's small body, her chest rising and falling, she had an almost fresh scar from just under her right eye down to her jaw. Narrowly missing the side of her lips.

Groaning, Laurel rolled over onto her side, clenching her fists. Leo stared in utter surprise, along with Percy and Nico, Jason didn't seem to understand what the problem was.

Laurel didn't have vocal cords. So she couldn't groan...

Was this really Laurel Blackwell?

Suspense and cliffhangers are terrible, I know. But, well, they make you want continue reading..... so I do what I have to ;-; I'm so sorry.
