Chapter 1

                                                                                          16 years later

"Ok class, get out your textbooks."

Thalia sighed and got out her textbook. I hate this class. Mrs. Dodds walked to the chalkboard. "Open your textbooks to page 94." I did. The classroom was full of the sound of people turning pages. "Your assignment is to write a two page essay. One page on your mother, the other on your father. Class dismissed."

"Mom, I'm home!" "I'm in the kitchen!" I walked into the kitchen and found my mom cooking mutton. "Mutton?" I asked. If there's one thing that confuses me, it's the fact that my mother always cooks mutton on one day a year, every year. And then there's the fact that she hasn't changed a thing about her since  I was five. Her blonde hair is always tied back, pink streaks lined her face. She always wore a pink skirt, white leggings, brown boots, white t-shirt, pink vest. I don't mind. In a way, my mom is my best friend. "How was your day?"  She asked with a smile. "Good." I said casually. "I have some good news." My mom said suddenly. "What?" "We're going to the inn. Three nights." I grinned. I love that little inn in the middle of nowhere. Mom takes me there every year. It's kinda a tradition. "When do we leave?" I asked. "As soon as you pack your bag." She said with a smile. I ran into my room to pack. I could hear my mother singing and playing the piano in the next room.

Your alone

Your on your own

So what? Have you gone blind?

Have you forgotten what you have and what is yours?

Glass half empty   Glass half full

Well either way

You won't be going thirsty

Count your blessings not your flaws

You've got it all

You lost your mind in the sound

There's so much more

You can reclaim your life

Your in control

Rid of the monsters inside your head

Put all your faults to bed

You can be free again

You don't get what all this is about

Your too wrapped up in your self doubt

You've got that young light

Set it free

You've got it all

You lost your mind in the sound

There's so much more

You can reclaim your life

Your in control

Rid of the monsters inside your head

Put all your faults to bed

You can be free

There's method in your madness

There's no logic in my sadness

You don't gain a single thing from misery

Take it from me

You've got it all

You lost your mind in the sound

There's so much more

You can reclaim your life

Your in control

Rid of the monsters inside your head

Put all your faults to bed

You can be free

You've got it all

You lost your mind in the sound

There's so much more

You can reclaim your life

Your in control

Rid of the monsters inside your head

Put all your faults to bed

You can be free again

I smiled. I liked that song. Mom wrote it herself.

Unknown

Everything was tinted red. I could barely see. So much for seeing my family again. I can't control myself. Well, almost can't. I can control myself occasionally. Not for long, though. I watched as my body destroyed this small town. People running everywhere. The flames roared higher. I was the cause of all this destruction. I was in the fire. Then I saw him. A blonde haired boy in a black jacket ran between two buildings. I followed. No! I struggled to gain control. I could hear Herobrine laughing as I struggled. Against my will, I thew a fireball at him. He dodged. I thew another one. He turned, terror flashing in his green eyes. "Snap out of it!!" He yelled at me desperately. I struggled. "I'm trying!"I yelled. I gasped as I gained control. I yelped as the fireball I was holding burnt my hand. I dropped it and gripped my head. "Grason, run!" I managed right before Herobrine took control again. He turned and ran, but untel he was out of sight. He was safe. For now.

I know this is really small, but more is coming!
