Chapter 13.
A new cover photo that I love, it is perfect for this story.
Peace never lasts long. There is always someone that wants to destroy the peace in peoples lives. Why can't they leave people alone and let everyone live in peace? Not even a Queen can live in peace, battles, and war always just seem to find them. Aracon most of all. As of right now, she is recovering from the wounds caused by a new kind of acid that was designed to hurt her in particular. She can now sit up and walk around but with help. Nico stayed by her side most of the time while she was walking around the building. Lou would watch her from a distance, soon Aracon was walking on her own. Kilca wanted her to stay longer but Aracon said she couldn't handle being in Japan so everyone was packing up supplies to head home. Kilca and Aracon spoke alone about somethings while everyone went on the four jets that were waiting. After they came out of the elevator and walked over, Duke was on the jet with Lou on his lap. Nico stood to wait for her, Aracon nodded her head so he turned around and boarded the ship. Aracon looked to her sister, Kilca reached up and touched her face.
"There are faint scars but they shouldn't be too noticeable." Aracon shrugged her shoulders.
"Scars never bothered me before so I doubt they will now. Thank you, sister."
"Anytime you need my help, stop being afraid to call out to me," They smiled and hugged one another. "Watch over her sister, she's going to get stronger." Aracon nodded her head and walked to the jet, looking back at the jet to see Kilca looking at her. She held up her hand to her sister before the jet doors closed. Aracon sat down and when she did, Lou ran over and sat on her lap. The trip only lasted about two hours but Lou still fell asleep in the warmth of Aracon's fur jacket. Everyone was ready to go home if there was a home to return too.
Upon arriving in Russia, the Pack was getting nervous. Both Aracon and Lou haven't seen what the Den looked like. Everyone was on edge. After landing the walk to the Den wouldn't last long. Lou was smiling as she was jumping and running down the street, Aracon was just walking with her slight limp because she was still holding her side. Nico remained close to her just making sure she wasn't going to fall and kiss the ground. Aracon was the least of everyone's worries because Lou tripped over her foot and kissed the snow ground. Duke helped her up and carried her the rest of the way. While walking the Pack saw people begin to gather around them, citizens walking alongside them. The Pack found this very weird since most of the people feard them but this time they were just walking with them, Lou noticed and waved at them. They were stopped by a whole mob of policemen, they stepped in front of Aracon and shocked everyone by bowing their heads to her.
"Welcome home, Queen Aracon."
Everyone was shocked then saw some other Pack members came around the corner and smile. They ran to Aracon and Lou to hug them and welcome them back home. The policemen guided everyone around the corner and everyone was shocked to see what was in front of them. The Den was back and standing taller and stronger than ever. Lou smiled and ran towards it, everyone was shocked to see their home was standing again.
"We misjudged you Black Queen, everything you did was for the sake of our country and for these young men and women that you saved. With the help of the Pack and the people, we rebuilt the Den for your return."
Aracon stepped towards it, her long fur jacket dragged behind her collecting snow as she walked. The gate was opened for her as she walked closer with Lou running around playing in the new front yard, Duke and Moe ran over to her and started building a snowman with her. Nico smiled and looked around with Aracon, she turned around and looked at the people. She said nothing, she simply bowed her head low in respect to them all. Everyone began clapping as the Pack went inside, the was food, couches, tables, everything was similar to the old Den but this one was bigger and better. Aracon smiled as she already felt at home with the new place. Lou ran inside covered head to toe in snow. Aracon shook her head as Lou ran up to her and asked where they would be staying. Once they found a single door that said Queen and Princess Only. They both smiled and walked inside.
Aracon's room- her room is mostly like this but there's a part for Lou
Lou's part- she loves pink
Lou went nuts when she saw the room, even more, when she saw her part. Aracon smiled as she was hugging the llama stuffies, Aracon took off her jacket and hanged it up. Changing into something more comfortable, she sat in front of the fireplace and relaxed. Lou came over and sat beside her holding six llamas in her arms, she laid in front of Aracon with her head on her lap. She was getting sleepy as was Aracon.
"Will those bad people leave us alone?" She asked her mother, Aracon looked into the flames.
"For now they will but that won't keep them. They'll always be bad people that want to destroy our life but we must never let them win. We must fight for the peace we want to live." Lou listened to every word she said and just nudged closer to Aracon.
She fell asleep while Aracon just watched her, touching her hair, seeing for herself that Lou was still right next to her. Something inside Aracon began to move, she knew that something that was wishing to come out. Aracon groaned as she crawled away from Lou, her hands clawed at the marble ground as her nails grow long and sharp. Her teeth grew out into fangs, her body began changing growing larger and more beasty. She crawled away from Lou and into the closet. There was a mic inside with a red button on it, pressing it Nico came running in. Seeing Lou sleeping on the fur rug he took a breath before hearing something in the closet, he walked over and carefully opened the door. He was shocked by what he saw inside the walk-in closet.
