The hunt began as soon as Cartel yelled "we found them." to everyone. Everyone gathered around, Cartel said that they stopped at the docks, there was an island a little ways off. It was used as a military airstrip. They were going to take Lou and run, the men grew more anger by the thought of never seeing Lou again. Cartel said that they should still be there. 

The hunt has begun.

The wolves split into teams of two and rushed for the docks. They were moving, jumping over cars and people, some took the roofs to get a better view. Kilca was able to keep up, though she only met Lou once, she already saw her as her niece. Aracon was her mother, Kilca knew she had to keep her promise and return Lou to Aracon's side. Rushing to the docks, they saw the cars that took Lou. Nico said he could still smell her, she was inside. Kilca raised her sword, eyes glowing as she swung her sword towards the building, slicing it in half. The men wasted no time rushing the falling building, quickly finding Lou and bring her back out and to Kilca. They went back in to beat the crap out of those guys. Setting her down on the ground, taking the rag out of her mouth and cutting the ropes around her. She was still sleeping so Kilca was able to breathe but that didn't last long. As she started to wake up, she was a little confused.

"It's okay, you're safe," Kilca spoke to her softly, Lou heard her and turned her head. Lou's eyes widened as that caused her to scream.

When she screamed black-thorns exploded out from the ground around her. Throwing Kilca off the roof and landing on the ground. She looked up to see the thorns began to cover everything around them, Lou was right in the center of that mess. The men came out to see thorns everywhere, Kilca was forced back. Everyone looked in fear at what they were seeing, Lou was controlling the thorns out of fear which was the first thing Aracon taught them not to do. 

~~Memories~~

The guys were training on how to control the thorns given to them by the Black Queen Aracon. All stood in a circle around her, slowly the thorns wrapped around their arms and legs.

"Remember, the thorns can sense the fear in your heart, even if you say there is none. They see the truth through your lies. That is why you should always be true because they'll give you away." She walked over to a young Duke, who was having trouble. Memories of his father were causing the thorns to react to that fear. They shot out around him, cutting Nico's arm. Aracon grabbed Duke's arm and stopped the thorns, Duke was breathing heavily. "Never use the power with fear in your hearts. Wolves have no fear when they go into battle, so you too must have no fear. Fear makes them wild and unsteady, you must tame them. Bend them to your will not your fears." 

The men clenched their fists knowing that Lou was just scared, she didn't know that Kilca was there to help her. They looked at the tower of thorns that continued to grow, the rushed for it. Kilca stood in shock as they did this, they dodged thorns coming at them. The thorns were acting as a guard for Lou, they were protecting her as the Black Queen's Cub, as Aracon's daughter. They climbed the thorns dodging any attacks that came for them. Duke clenched his fists and punched the wall with his own thorns, the Steel Thorns. He created a hole and looked for Lou on the inside, she was above him.

"She's in the center!" He called out, Nico nodded his head and rushed passed Duke. 

Heading straight for the spot where she was, the thorns extended from his hand creating a sword. He sliced the wall to find Lou right in front of him, he moved inside before it closed. He continued to dodge the thorns that came for him, he did this until he was finally able to grab Lou. She slowly opened her eyes feeling a warmth similar to her mothers, seeing it was Nico calmed her down quickly.

"Nico? What happened?" She asked in her child-like voice. Nico smiled and kissed her head.

"Nothing, we just came to take you back to Aracon." They both smiled as the tower slowly vanished into ash. Nico stood on the rubble of the destroyed roof holding Lou. He stepped down heading to the others as they were smiling, Duke picked her up and kissed her face a thousand times. She was giggling than her eyes found Kilca.

"I'm sorry for hurting you," she whispered hiding her face in Duke's shoulder.

"You didn't hurt me, only surprised me. So you are Lou?" Lou nodded her head, Kilca smiled. "It is nice to officially meet you. I am Kilca, eldest sister of the Queens and older sister to Aracon, you can kind of say that I'm your aunt." Lou smiled brightly as she jumped down and ran over to her, hugging her legs. "Now," she picked her up holding her to her hip. "Let's get you to Aracon." Lou's eyes lite up in joy. Everyone walked away from the docks, Nico called it in.

"We have our sister back." Everyone could hear it, the whole city cheering in victory.

After the rescue mission, they didn't return to the Den. They couldn't let Lou see her home in pieces so they took her to the R-Building in Russia. Kilca made all her sister have several in their kingdoms so she could keep eyes on them as well them for her. Lou didn't seem to mind all she wanted was to get to Aracon, she wanted to see her mother. Everyone did and Kilca was trying her best to get them there. She received a call that Aracon had suddenly awakened upon feeling a sudden surge of black power, Kilca looked back at Lou seeing her as a normal girl when that wasn't actively using the power in her veins. Kilca looked at the building where she was, it was completely turned to ash and destroyed. She sighed and saw the jet coming, everyone got ready to go to Japan to see Aracon. Lou fell asleep so Kilca decided to ask her "brothers".

"Tell me, how did Lou come to live with all of you?" She asked them, they looked at her in shock.

"Lou's birth mother was killed in an alleyway by some thugs when Lou was only a baby, Boss was passing by when she heard Lou crying and decided to step in. Lou's mother asked the Boss to raise Lou, and so she did." Nico explained much and more. "Lou was brought to us as a baby, weak, fragile unable to live on her own so we helped raise her. Though Boss did most of the work," that surprised Kilca, she knew her sister had a soft spot for lost things like her wolves but to become a real mother and raise an infant was something she never thought her sister would do. Kilca found herself smiling at the images of her sister.

"Thank you but I have one more question because either you know the answer or Aracon does," she stopped and looked straight at Lou on Duke's lap. "When did she receive the black power?'
