Underworld
I decided to avoid human contact completely and teleport to my room. Now, where did I put that 7 million dollars? Oh yeah, I hid it in the underworld. Well, guess I have to make a pit stop.
I close my eyes as I feel the dark energy consume me. I land next to my gorgeous throne. Upon it sat my successor that I chose, Aelia. It is quite ironic that she is a child of Pluto, seeing as her name roughly translates to sun.
Her long black hair was pulled back into a braid, just like always. Her body was clad in the classic Roman robes. She was one of the previous prætors of Camp Jupiter, so she obviously had previous experiences as a leader of an army.
"Niece, it is quite glorious to see your face again. I take it all fairs well?" Oh whoops. I must have forgotten to mention that she died in the eighteen hundreds.
"Life is life. You know as well as I that it has its ups and downs." I reply and she nods, her smile dropping slightly. "But don't fret for me, Aunt Aelia. I shall be perfectly fine. This is the last time this me will see you. I don't want to remember you in a state of panic."
" Very well child. I suppose you would like your cash." She replies, handing me the briefcase. I hug her, then observe her features. It is quite possible that she is a completely different person in my universe. I want to remember her how she is.
Her obsidian eyes glint back at me, making her olive skin seem pale in comparison. The SPQR tattoo didn't even look a year old. But then again, dead people don't age.
"Yes, thank you. Goodbye. I hope you fare well."
"And I you." The shadows swallow me whole and I nearly collapsed when I arrive. If Jason hadn't caught me, I would have.
"Woah, take it easy there. Now, how about you tell us what that was about?" Jason asks.
"Just making a pit stop at the underworld." I reply.
">TT< He wasn't talking about that sister dear." Oh Hades...their not going to like this...
