After the girls left it was just me and Evie for a bit until jay and Carlos came in

Jay was wearing a school jersey and Carlos was holding a dog which surprised me to no ends

Yo-ho-ho! Jay said showing off his jersey

Yeah we are on the tourney team Jay said

"And I've gotten over my fear of dogs" Carlos said holding the dog "this is dude"

Hey did your plan work with Farrah? Are you going over to see the wand? Jay asked as I glared at him

Do you think that I would be going through every single spell in this book. If I hadn't completely struck out? I said pointing to my opened spell book

Oh, someone's in a bad mood. Jay said as I rolled my eyes in annoyance

My mom and sister are counting on me! I can't let them down! I said

Before I could answer there was a knock on the door

Hold that thought. I said as I went to see who it was and saw that it was Sabrina on the other side

Hey, Mal. I didn't see you guys today except for Evie in chemistry class. I was just wondering If you had any questions or anything... That... you needed... Sabrina said

Okay. All right. Well, uh, If you need anything, just, uh... Sabrina said as I remembered what Evie had just informed me about the wand and sabrina's crowning

Oh, wait! Um, is it true that we all get to go to your coronation? I asked

Yeah, the whole school goes. Sabrina said

Wow. That is beyond exciting. Do you think that It's a possibility that the four of us could stand in the front row next to the Fairy Godmother, just so we could soak up all that goodness? I said

I wish you could. Up front It's just me, my parents, my sister, Emma and my nephew, Henry and my girlfriend. Sabrina said

And your girlfriend? I asked as the wheels in my head began to turn

Yeah. I'm sorry. Sabrina said

Okay. Thanks, bye. I said as I began to close the door

Oh, but, no, there's plenty of... Sabrina said as the closed door cut her off

I think It's time that sabby got herself a new girlfriend. And I need a love spell. I said as Carlos tossed me my spell book

*Time skip*

Later that night we snuck into the kitchen to make the love spell cookies and everything was going great until we needed an ingredient that couldn't be found in the auradon kitchen

All right. It says that we still need one tear, and I never cry. I said

Let's just chop up some onions. Carlos said pulling out an onion and a knife

No. It Says that we need one tear of human sadness. And this love potion gets the best results so we have to follow it exactly. I said

A tear's a tear. Jay said as Evie shook her head no

That's not true, Jay. They both have antibodies and enzymes, but an emotional tear has more protein-based hormones than a reflex tear. Evie said

Listen to you. I said looking at her proudly

Yeah. I knew that. Jay said

No you didn't. Carlos said as Lonnie walked into the kitchen nearly scaring us to death and barely giving me enough time to close my spell book

There you are, Mal! I was looking for you. You know, all the girls want you to do their hair! Midnight snack, huh? What you guys making? Lonnie said

"Nothing special. Just cookies." I said as she stuck her finger into the bowl "Oh, no, no!"

Wait, wait, wait! Carlos said as she put it in her mouth and looked at us like we were crazy

What? I'm not gonna double dip. Lonnie said

Feel anything? Evie asked

Yeah, like maybe it might be missing something? I asked as Jay went over to her and started to flirt

Hey there. Jay said as Lonnie just looked at him clearly not interested

It could use some chips. Lonnie said

And those are...? I asked as Lonnie pulled out a bag of chocolate chips out of a cabinet

Chocolate chips. Just the most important food group. Wait, didn't your moms ever make you guys, like, chocolate chip cookies? Like, when you're feeling sad, and they're fresh from the oven, with a big old glass of milk, and she just makes you laugh and puts everything into perspective and..." Lonnie said as she saw her looking at her like we didn't know what she was talking about since our parents would never do anything like that "why are you all looking at me like that?"

It's just different where we're from. I said

Yeah, I know. I just, you know, I thought... Even villains love their kids. Oh... How awful. Lonnie said as I saw a tear go down her face which I quickly caught and flicked into the bowl before she even noticed

Yeah, well, big bummer, but we have to get these into the oven, so thank you so much for coming by. Really, really have a good night. I'll see you tomorrow. Evil dreams. I said as I rushed her out the kitchen

Good night Lonnie said as I turned back to my friends once Lonnie was outside

Okay, boys, cookie sheet. Evie, oven. I said

Yes, ma'am. Evie said as they got to work
