Oizys was returning from her 48-hour shift. She now realized that working on a dream and working for a dream was never the same. Assisting her last surgery of the day she flocked off like a chicken running off the fence.

 Arriving at her flat the first thing she did was to tell her parents how her day went, from every surgery to every cup of coffee she had, she rambled everything in front of the portrait silently hoping one day she'd get a reply like before.

She currently lives in a one-bedroom flat, which is very different from her parents' house.

 She had spent a lot of time in the hospital, unconscious. During this period, the bank considered her incapable of paying the mortgage and sold the house. As a result, her dorm room became her permanent residence. 

She used to spend her holidays visiting orphanages and old age homes, until she made some good friends who used to invite her to their homes. Although she wishes to buy the house back, she is currently a struggling resident.

 However, she was not the naive 18-year-old now. She had made herself steel hard, headstrong and not submitting to any obstacle. Heating two slices of pizza she made her way to study her next case. In no time she was fast asleep.  

She woke up to a blood-curdling scream.Only to realize it belonged to her. 

She used the relaxation technique her therapist suggested. Trying to calm her raging breath she wiped off her sweaty forehead,repeating again and again  "It's in the past. I'm stronger now. I'm not a weak, naive 18-year-old waiting to be accepted by everyone.I deserve better and I won't let my past ruin me again "

She couldn't help but reminisce  the fateful nigh which she then deemed unfateful .

FLASHBACK:

"NO!You cant do that to me. I'm your mate Mason."

 To which he snorted " Mate? You !A pathetic human ,the one who can't take stand for herself, the one whom Sheryl threw across the room . You are merely a human whom I used to get my wolf's full potential.

 Do you think I'll make you the LUNA .Get  out of my packground before my warriors kill you for threatening their  true Luna . 

I never loved you. Hell I despised you for being my mate. "

I couldn't take it anymore .I searched for our love in those blue eyes but I found them filled with disgust.

I begged " Please. I promise I'll try harder .I won't disappoint you or your pack . Please I have nothing left ,you are all I have ." 

To which the red head Sheryl snickered 

" Oof.Looks like your fake luna still didn't get it.Let me explain it to you. 

He never wanted you.I was set to become the LUNA of tis pack .Him finding you merely delayed it.A pathetic creature like you can't protect yourself.The hell you will ensure safety of this pack. Last night was planned "

My face paled . I felt like cold water splashed over me." What do you mean planned? "

She let out an evil laugh " Yes planned ,he wanted to gain his wolf's full potential but he can't bring himself to fuck you.

You remember all those times he was coped up in his office while you waited for him in your human world.He was busy with me.

He never wanted to touch you let alone mark you, the bite on your neck is merely a fabricated wound made by using calotropis. You dumb human .You thought he'll mark you .Now he has power as well as a heir.."

I dropped on my knees,clutching my heart.I couldn't believe this .I was in immense pain.

The pain of betrayal , the pain of mate bond being broken. He knew there is no way a human can endure this pain.

" No..You are lying...Mason ..Please tell me this is all a nightmare ,let's get back to our house.Please!I know what we had was  not merely for power.Let James out. He can never lie to me"

Mason huffed " look I just want you out. Anyway we'll ensure to erase your memory but I guess james has to see his  mate too , so here you go".

His eyes changes from blue to honey..I knew james was in control now.

"I'm sorry mate..I can't do anything.My human has impregnated and marked Sheryl.You not having a wolf has allowed him to overpower me. Farewell mate.

I wish you were a wolf but for now I have a pack to lead and a heir to train.

 I pray the moon goddess make us equal in next life."

With that I found my jaw rammed open and a cold liquid flowing through my throat.My eyes felt heavy and I found myself dragged away."

The ringing of her phone brought her back from the awful flashback . Looking at the caller ID , she rushed to answer it.

"Dr.Oizys here" .The other side was an intern frantically explaining how a stable child is now gasping for air . 

Without wasting more time she dashed out to help the kid.

Stepping outside her garage she felt as if someone was watching her. 

Dread filled her stomach. Shuffling her keys she started the engine and headed towards the hospital. 

What she didn't know was there indeed was someone keeping an eye on her. Watching her every move. Waiting for the right time to strike . 

So this was the second chapter!!!Please don't think it's going fast...be with me ..This story is far more than a rejection story !
