I screamed out of frustration, glad that the mosquitoes had left for night school. I felt my mouth salivating, my mind going haywire and memories of pain and torture rushing through my head.

Everytime I blinked, I saw a flash of what I believe is my hell; needles, specialised weapons, surgery beds, blood, flesh, a truck and my mother. "No!" I screamed, holding my ears tightly, squeezing my eyelids shut in an attempt to block out these images. Instead of feeling scared of these memories, I felt infuriated. "Lesson one; never become angry, your anger turns into immense hunger." Someone had said that when we first met.

"I will never listen to someone like you!"

I got changed quickly into a black hoodie that was once flung across the room in a fit of anger, during the two months. I grabbed a pair of black sweatpants and pulled them up quickly, being driven by the desire for flesh. Stepping into sneakers urgently, I grabbed my phone and opened the window that hasn't opened in the time frame that I haven't gone outside.

I activated my usual kagune before leaping out of the window, remembering to dodge the trees as I ran  through the dense forest. I unlocked my phone, looking up every few seconds to dodge a tree. It was 4 am - the night class would be back in about 3 hours.

She's such an idiot for meeting someone so early in the morning.

I kept running and felt the lack of stamina from not going outside - from not training. I was already out of breath before I slowed down at the end of the forest. I came out from the forest and walked towards the gate, huffing to get some air. I saw my delicious girlfriend, Saki, waiting at the gates, shivering with her arms wrapped around her body to keep warm. Her eyes searching around for me.

"Yuu!" Saki called out once she saw me and ran towards me with her arms wide open. Once she got to me, she squeezed her arms around my waist before commenting, "You have gotten skinnier!" she yelled, full of concern before letting go and taking a good look at me.

"Oh my god! What happened? You look terrible!" she exclaimed, taking a close look at my face and hair. "Is this what happened to you while you haven't been going to school?" She questioned before I sighed, aggravated from the interrogation.

"Let's just go outside... now." I muttered while staring at her through my long, unkept bangs. "O-Okay.." She stuttered out before realizing the gate was locked. "B-But the gate, Yuu."

"Don't worry about that." I replied, slightly biting my lip from her exposed flesh. The anger from the annoyance made the hunger grow ravenous and almost uncontrollable. "Y-Yuu..." she whispered before I sauntered to the gate.

"Follow where I put my feet and hold on tightly." I ordered before I started climbing, putting my feet into stable creases on the brick wall next to the gate.

I could hear her whimpering but slowly following my lead. You are going straight to your doom.

I made it to the top of the fence before jumping off, causing Saki to gasp and squeal, showing how frightened she was when she realises she had to jump off as well. Once she hesitantly made it to the top, she nervously fiddled with her hands before squeaking, "You will catch me, right?"

I nodded lazily in response before she bent her knees, ready to jump. She hesitated before the wind made her lose balance, causing her to scream. I ran forward to catch her because I don't want my meal to be scrambled by something other than me. I put her on her feet before she links her arm through mine and starts skipping, "Where are we going?"

"Just... walking around... nothing special." I said in response to her question, causing her to shrug carelessly. From my peripheral vision, I could see her staring at my face with a dreamy look in her eyes, barely blinking. 

Don't be swayed by my looks.
