Thanks for the 4.6K reads and 227 votes!~ I didn't expect it from this book, especially from a book made by me.
Also I want to know your opinion about the book cover because it's not as good as the rest of my covers so do you think I need to redo it. It was once one of my first really good covers so it has some sentimental value. Say your opinion, don't be silent.
Sorry for stalling slightly so continue reading.
Kiri's POV
I had gotten up from the step and glared into Zero's eyes before looking at Kaname mischievously, "Don't think that this is over, Zero." I whispered menacingly under my breath while walking inside the large metropolis of a dormitory.
I walked into my room, locking the door before falling face first on my soft, plush bed. I groaned before curling up, "Now someone who didn't need to know, knows about me. Another chance of the CCG finding me. Great." I felt my phone vibrate in the back of my pocket so as any normal person would do, I threw it across the room where it landed on my bag, so it didn't break.
"Damn Ayato, he keeps calling me." I muttered angrily before feeling a slight pain prick at my right eye, "Can't he just be captured by the CCG? That would make my life so much brighter." I giggled evilly at the thought of his enraged face while being dragged away by the investigators. Hilarious and priceless.
I felt the door knock before the door was almost being forced open. Oh shit. If they saw my room, they would think it was too feminine for a 'bad boy' to have because they love to assume stereotypes.
"I'm outside. Don't come in!" I yelled before jumping out the window where I had checked for any bystanders. "What?!" I heard Aido yell before lightning footsteps pounded through the house. I can't believe that he actually fell for it.
I chuckled at his surprised expression when he saw that I was outside. "So what did you want to ask me?" He made a sound of disagreement before crossing his arms, "Why would you think that?" I giggled when I said, "The knocking and your frantic behaviour suggests otherwise."
He sighed before he gestured me to sit down under one of the trees. I sat down first before he sat down next to me. "I guess, I wanted to ask you something. How did you survive?" I sighed before saying, "Rc Cells, remember? I'm impenetrable to weapons that would harm humans and vampires because I have activated Rc cells while you don't."
"Funny, how I used to loathe you but now I just feel fear and the adrenaline pumping in my blood. Since you are something new to me, I want to find out more. I will never admit this again but I believe you are stronger than Lord Kaname." I felt my eyes widen before I punched his shoulder, "Thanks, bro."
He fell to the ground on his side because of the impact of my punch. "Geez. You have a good punch."
"I've gotten lots of practise." I chuckled at him rubbing his arm where I had punched him. I was interrupted by the sound of my phone ringing again, Aido had noticed as well. "Aren't you going to answer that?" He asked while looking between me and my window. "No. Just an ex." I lied before looking at his face, seeing his face drop abit at the answer.
"What was your life like before you came here?" I guess he's following through to his word about getting to know me. His eyes were wide, like a child when they see something new. "Since you already know about what I am, I guess I can tell my story. I have an older-brother named Kaneki Ken. He is exactly like me; half-ghoul. He's an SS ghoul while I'm an SSS ghoul which is the most powerful and dangerous with good reason."
He looked skeptical, "Isn't there a reason why you left though?" He asked, over-exaggerating the word, 'why'. "Yes because my brother was tortured by a strong ghoul and has now became a leader of an illegal organisation to take my place but I'm stronger than him so the other leaders aren't so happy about my choice of leaving."
He let out a sound of realisation, "That's interesting but you haven't told everything yet, have you?"
"Nope, I love to be the mysterious one that everyone wants to find out about. See you later, Aido." I waved goodbye before releasing my bikaku and it climbed up the wall, leaving dents on the bricks before swinging through the window, checking my phone. It was a message from Uncle Kaien saying that school is cancelled because of the attack by Zero. I laughed happily before getting ready to sleep for as long as I want because here comes the weekend!
