Prologue

Nobody's POV

Two lovers made their way through the gardens.

They were taking a stroll, admiring the brightly shining stars in the velvet sky.

The boy led his lover to a beautiful lake.

A full moon lit the sky, it's silvery reflection on the water.

They talked quietly, in their own world.

To them, nothing mattered but the other.

An asteroid could've hit the Earth and wiped out all in existence but they wouldn't have a care.

They could only see the other in this beautiful place.

They didn't realize their friends had followed them.

They were hiding in the bushes, careful not to make a single sound, trying it be as quiet as a little mouse.

They cooed slightly when the boy leaned down and gave the girl a small peck on her lips.

It might've been short but it was sweet and held meaning.

The boy pulled away nervously while the girl looked at him in question.

Their friends grinned knowing what was to come.

The boy knelt on one knee and pulled out a glittering black box.

In it contained a ring, which came with a question that would change his life forever, for better or worse no one would know until the question is answered by his lover.

The girl had raised a hand to her mouth, her eyes shining with unshed tears in shock.

"Annabeth Chase, daughter of the late Lord Chaos and Lady Aria. We had met so long ago, fought together in many battles. We were unstoppable together. You were the brains and I the brawn. We had each other's back until I made a foolish mistake. Now, you have returned. You gave me another chance when I did not deserve it. That's the thing about love. No matter what the other does, one would still love it's soulmate. Exactly like our love. It is everlasting, eternal. You gave me another chance when clearly I didn't even deserve you being ten steps close to me much less your everlasting love. Annabeth my love, my Wise Girl, I love you with all my mind, heart and soul. My love, stop this Seaweed Brain from making any mistakes. In the past, I had let you go. I am not willing to make that mistake again. Never again. We are friends, the very best, lovers, soul mates. You my love are the key to my heart and I hope I am yours. Will you give me the honor of being my queen? Will you marry me?" he asked her

Tears were streaming down her face in rivers.

Were they tears of sadness?

No, they were the exact opposite.

They were tears of joy.

She nodded her head over and over again.

"YES!" she finally screamed.

She threw her arms around his neck and the lovers shared a long and passionate kiss.

His hands around her waist, pulling her closer to him, making sure there was absolutely no space between them.

Her hands were tangled in his hair, twisting it in all directions.

Their friends broke into cheers.

Not caring about keeping out of sight anymore.

Their torches lit the darkness.

They ran towards the couple and lifted them onto their shoulders.

They threw the lovers who were utterly in love, not to mention embarrassed and blushing into the lake and they shared a long and passionate kiss underwater.

Let's just assume they will not resurface in a while.

Make that a really long while.
