Along the Milky Way

This world in its transparency
actually hides itself in secrecy
A hundred billion entities
within a kind-of entropy

Wind down now this illusion
Bring clarity to the confusion
The universe is more than we
imagine in a view we see

Hearken back to the start
in theoretic and scientific art
when the dreams of sun and stars
could not predict who we are

There the void and silent wake
of expanding matter in its path
Gave the size and the shape
to all we are and all we have

Little traveler so certain here
Why struggle on in this way?
You are a crumb after all
along the Milky Way
