1992 - The RIAA confirmed two million (double platinum) in sales for the album "Diamonds and Pearls."

1995 - Prince performed "The Purple Medley" at the 22nd annual American Music Awards. During the event finale, a group rendition of the song "We Are The World," Prince sucked on a lollipop.

2001 - The album "The Best of Tevin Campbell" was released. The album contained songs
written by Prince.
