Magical kingdom AU

Poland looked in the mirror and continued trying to pat down his fluffy hair. He sighed as he resorted to just throw on a beanie to try and mask his white hair from ruining his chances with the council.

He threw on his brown coat, pants and red scarf from his father before he died. He looked down at it and gave a smile, what a great man he was.

But today he couldn't dwell on the past, he was to be upon the council's attention on whether or not he could begin demon hunting, he had been training ever since he was a little boy for this moment. He began to walk through the prosperous city of shining lights and glass. He had finally passed through to the western side of the city.

"Oh Polen! Is today the day?" Netherlands asked appearing from the shadows with his sister. Netherlands and Belgium were already demon hunters and protected the outer walls from the beasts.

He simply nodded. "Mmhm, today I'll finally be able to avenge my father."

Netherlands gave him a hug and pat on the back. "What a noble cause, but remember being a demon hunter isn't just always killing demons, we have to rescue people, find lost kids and more annoying stuff. Be ready for that!"

"Always!" He yelled back as the two siblings ran off towards the walls. He held a smile on his face, soon he'd finally follow them outside the walls.

Poland soon arrived at the large building. It was glamorous with plenty of arches and stars everywhere. Out in the front were five pillars carved with the four council members in mind. The wizard, the architect, the prodigy and the potion maker. The final was reserved for the mightiest of the five, the great founder of the country and it's prosperity.

He took a moment to bow to the great members before entering the light blue walls which parried those of the empire previous. Once he stood under the large doors he took a great breath.

"First time meeting them?" A guard asked.

He nodded. "Don't worry I'm just freaking out a bit hah..."

The guard took off their helmet and looked to the country's hazel eyes with comfort. "You'll be fine, the council isn't very scary and they usually do the talking." Romania smiled, but quickly Poland saw them thinking of something. "But don't ever mention Tiliraini or the one who shouldn't be called. They hate her more then the kingdom's top generals." They sighed.

"Enter."

Poland took a deep breath as Romania and a another masked guard opened the large door. "Good luck!"

When he entered the room he couldn't help but stop in his tracks. The walls were made of fine marble and carved with delicate memoirs to all great empires that had passed. Then there was the large desk like structure that rose above him with five seats. Of course like usual only four were filled.

"Republic of Poland, the promising swordsman of the eastern city. I presume you are here on accord on your demon hunting aspiration?" A sophisticated voice asked him, no doubt the great mage looked towards him with his turquoise eyes glaring at him through his monocle.

"Polen?" A softer yet rough voice asked. "WAIT POLEN? What are you doing here?" Poland glanced up at the black, red and yellow country, his golden eyes met Poland's.

"Ah, you know just wishing to be able to be a demon hunter as was my father, like one does." Poland said as causally as he could, he didn't plan on meeting a childhood friend.

"Germany this is a workplace, please at least make a effort at being professional." The mage groaned.

Germany looked to him angrily. "Well it's not me who can't go a second before mooching over mein wife!"

"TAKE THAT BACK RIGHT NOW YOUNG MAN!"

"Honey! Calm down, Germany we raised you better than this!" The architect rolled her eyes at the two men.

"Listen to France, we still have Poland here!" The potion maker sighed. The council looked down at Poland with glares sharp enough to kill. He couldn't help but feel nervous.

"Yes, yes." The grand mage nodded and looked to his wife. "So Poland you wish to become a hunter? To protect Euraina against the darkness leaning in from the gardens of shadows and anger?"

Poland nodded and bowed to the council. "Yes sir, I wish to serve and protect the lands from the shadows."

The council talked between each-other for awhile. They exchanged papers and more opinions before seemingly deciding on a solution.

The potion maker spoke first. "Well Poland you've been cleared for your quest to finalize yourself as a hunter!" He said in a happy tone.

"But due to dangerous circumstances and conditions of the woods-" Germany started.

"And the current situation with Tiliraini." France, the architect, added in.

"Ja, you'll be accompanied by a demon hunter as you take a short quest to Amicana."

Poland but his lip. Amicana was a land similar to Euraina except it was much stronger and much more... dispersed. They used the more looked down upon magic, but they had done the impossible and befriended the shadows that surrounded their lands. Poland couldn't help but respect that. "Who would I be travelling with?"

The council burst in more talking and worry glances. "Well, about that-"

"GUESS WHO'S BACK MOTHERFUCKERS!" A small country threw open the door. Poland immediately rolled his eyes. She walked through the grand halls with wide eyes. She had purple floaty coat and long white hair tied back into a bow by a black ribbon. The young country grabbed the polish's shoulder. "Ah Poland, how lovely seeing you."

"Japan, please do not swear in the grand hall." Italy said in a charming tone.

Japan seemed to have a internal freak out before bowing and changing her over excited mood with a calm honourable one. "I'm sorry for my tardiness grand council of Euraina. I don't get many opportunities to leave Tiliraini. The Empress is very... keen on us staying in the cities." The council nodded and seemed to appreciate her apology. "Now uh, if it's not rude to ask. How are we getting to Amicana? I mean I can't fight something I can't get to."

Poland raised he eyebrow. "We're fighting someone?"

The grand mage or United Kingdom nodded, "Yes, the star boy has a slight... problem on his hands. So he has redeemed a favour, he has asked for some demon hunters to take out a few demons."

Poland sighed. His first quest as a demon hunter being a favour? I mean at least it isn't something too hard, and he had another swordsman. Even better, a swordsman who trained with him.

He'd get through this quest in at least two weeks.

Unless something unexpected happened, that would be a problem.

Basically the two would join up with a bunch more countries with magic and cool classes. They would also get caught up in a bigger plot with trying to find the Empress's daughter, prevent a few murders and other situations.

Idk if I'll continue this but eh.
