About 20 minutes later, everyone of the townspeople, including Bella and Jack were seated in the town hall, and everybody was murmuring amongst each other, wondering what was going on and why they had been called to the meeting.

Sally and Bella were sitting in the front right pew, on the aisle seat, with Sally's arm around her shoulders and her other hand holding Bella. She was still shaken up but she needed to be at the town meeting. She wanted to be there. Sally had told her what the town meeting was about and she knew it needed to happen. She wanted everybody to be safe from that asshole and sad excuse of a father.

"It's going to be okay honey." Sally reassured her before kissing her cheek. Bella glanced at her and gave her hand a gentle squeeze.

"Settle down, everybody, please!" The mayors voice boomed and everybody immediately went quiet, patiently waiting for what he was to say next.

"We have all gathered you here for another town meeting, and this one is a very important one! Our pumpkin king will tell you all about it! Jack..." he turned around, facing Jack who walked up to the podium. She glanced at his wife and daughter and his dead heart broke seeing Bella's state. He wanted to protect her and seeing her so shaken up, it made him want to cry.

He then turned to look at the townspeople and started to speak. "Hello, everyone. The mayor has been telling me about a man who keeps asking about Bella. Well, I'm here to tell you that... that man is Bella's biological father."

The whole town gasped in shock, some covering their mouths. They couldn't believe it! Bella's human dad was here?! But how?!

"That man is Bella's human dad?!" The clown with the tear away face exclaimed, followed by helgamine saying "how did he get here? He seems like a lunatic!"

Bella glanced around the town hall, watching the townspeople freak out. She felt a tear slide down her cheek, her body beginning to shake at not only the mention of her human dad, but watching her beloved friends get so frightened about him. "O-oh mama..." she muttered and Sally gently pulled her head against her chest, running her fingers through her hair.

"Please, please, settle down! I know this is absolutely unsettling, believe me, I do. I fear for not only your safety, but for my wife's safety and my daughters safety. Has anybody seen where he went so we at least know where he is?"

"We don't know where he went Jack! The last place I saw him go was through the pumpkin patch!" Werewolf man pointed out and jack scratched his bony scalp, shaking his head.

"As far as him getting here, the only logical reasoning I can think of is the same way that Bella got here. In the woods and through the Halloween door. There is no other possible way that he could've gotten here."

Bella's heart started racing once more. Not only was she so afraid of her human dad, but she absolutely hated him. For so many years, ever since her mom died, he treated her like shit and got away with it. Punched her, kicked her, called her every name in the book, even sent her to the hospital which was a result of him almost killing her. And she stupidly told the nurse that it was because of her abusive ex.

"How will we get him out of here, jack?! We need him out of here so we can be safe, so dear Bella can be safe!" One of the vampire brothers said worriedly and Bella glanced back at the vampire brother before looking back at Jack.

Jack glanced at her, giving a reassuring nod before looking back at the townspeople. "We will figure out a way. But for now, I know this is going to be really hard for all of you, but I need all of you to stay in your houses, until we figure this out and get him out of here! I want all of you safe and keeping you inside your houses is the best thing we can do for now."

They all nodded in agreement, murmuring to each other. They knew that Jack wanted to keep them safe and happy in any way possible. Being in their houses was the first step in keeping them safe from the likes of that wretched man. Who knows where he was now, or what he was doing.  All they know is that he had to be stopped.

Once the meeting was over, the townspeople left the town hall, leaving jack, Bella and Sally alone. Sally was still sitting next to Bella, rubbing her back. Jack quickly made his way to them, kneeling down and pulling Bella in his arms. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and buried her face in his neck, whimpering.

"Oh my sweet pumpkin, we will figure this out. We will do anything to keep you safe." He whispered in her ear as he cradled her head, running his fingers through her hair.

"P-promise daddy? I-I don't want to lose you or mama..." Her voice cracked as she spoke, her body trembling. She hated herself for being so scared. But you really couldn't blame her.

Jack gently pulled her away but still held her close so he could see her and cupped her cheek in his hand.

"I promise, no harm will come to you. You are my daughter and your mother and I will do absolutely anything to keep you safe." He said firmly before pulling her in for another hug. Sally knelt down beside Jack and rested her head against his shoulder, rubbing Bella's back. One way or another, they would keep Bella out of harms way and make sure that their daughter was safe and happy
