"M-m-my biological father..."

Jack and Sally's eyes widened as they looked at each other in shock. How the hell did her father get here?!

"I-I went to open t-the door and when I-I-I did, I saw him standing there. For a split s-second, I could see rage in his e-eyes. I-I locked the door a-and I-I-o-oh m-mama... daddy..." she trailed off, unable to finish speaking as she continued sobbing, burying her face in jacks chest.

Sally kept rubbing her back in circles as Jack continued to stroke her hair, rocking her back and forth.

"Oh spiderweb..." jack whispered as he rested his chin on top of her head. He could feel the fear radiating from her, her whole body trembling in his arms. He hushed her softly, trying to get her to calm down. He was so worried that she was going to pass out again.

"Breathe, darling... just breathe. We're right here." He cooed as he looked and Sally, who placed her other hand on Bella's knee, stroking it with her thumb.

"How did he get here? That's what I want to know. He won't get anywhere near you." Sally asked. She wasn't one to get Angry but when it came to people she loved, she would do absolutely anything to keep them safe and happy. Especially when it came to her husband and daughter.

Jack shook his head as he looked at his wife. "I'm not sure, Sally. All I know is that he's here, and I know he will not get anywhere near bella. I will make sure of that" he promised and bella slightly lifted up her head to look at him, her makeup ruined.

"W-what if he does? W-what if he tries to hurt me, or e-either one of you? O-oh god I-I'm so sorry..." she sobbed, feeling like she had brought him here. But none of this was her fault. She had no idea he would find out where she was. None of them knew how he got here!

Jack looked down at her and kissed her forehead. "Listen to me. There is nothing to apologize for. You need to know that none of this is your fault. We don't know how he got here, but I'm assuming that he got here the same way you did. Through the Halloween door. I mean, that's the only logical way I can think of."

Bella sniffled as she glanced at sally who moved some of her hair out of her face. "He won't touch you. Myself, Jack and the rest of the townspeople won't let that happen."

"The townspeople... I hope he hasn't interfered with any of them. And I wonder where he went. He really doesn't have much place to go." Jack said with concern laced in his voice. He was afraid that he would try to hurt the townspeople or worse.

"I need to go alert the mayor so we can tell everyone what's going on. There has to be a town meeting." Jack started to get up but Bella held on to him. She didn't want to be clingy but she was frightened. She knew what her father was capable of and she had no idea where he went.

"D-don't go... p-please... stay..." her voice cracked when she said stay and Jack looked down into her pleasing eyes. He sat back down and pulled her back into his arms, just holding her close and reassuring her that everything would be alright.

10 minutes later
Bella had fallen asleep on the couch, with her head in Sally's lap. She was gently stroking her hair, a white blanket with black spiderwebs over her body. Her flats were off and she was curled up in a ball. They were so thankful that she had calmed down and was able to fall asleep. But they were afraid that when she woke up, she would freak out again.

Jack was kneeling down in front of Bella, his hand gently resting on her forehead. "He will not touch her. If he so much as comes back here and tries anything, I swear to god Sally..." he threatened and Sally gently took his other bony hand in hers, giving it a gentle squeeze.

"I understand jack. I feel the same way. I know I usually don't get angry but this our daughter. We need to protect her. We promised her that we would love her and keep her safe, no matter what. We also need to keep the townspeople safe and-"

She was cut off by a knock at the door, followed by the voice of the mayor. "Jack! Open up, please!" Jack and Sally shared a quick glance before he stood up and walked to the door, opening it and the mayor hobbled in with his sad, worried face turned around.

"Oh jack, something terribles happened! And not the good kind of terrible!" He exclaimed and Jack quietly hushed him so as not to wake Bella up.

"Sssh, mayor. Bella's sleeping. She had a major panic attack earlier and we had to calm her down."

Mayor quickly glanced at Bella, immediately feeling sorry for being so loud before continuing to speak, in a softer tone.

"Jack, the townspeople are very concerned. There's this human man running around the town like a mad person, asking everybody if they knew who Bella was. The townspeople are getting worried, especially because they don't know who this man is. Also, we don't know where he went. What is going on?"

Jack knelt down in front of mayor, rubbing the back of his neck. He feared this would happen and now he needed to take matters in to his own hands.

"That man is Bella's biological dad. We don't know how he got here but we need to have a town meeting in the town hall. The whole town needs to know what's going on so they can protect themselves and each other from getting harmed."

Mayors hand flew to his mouth, in complete shock. "Her biological dad? Oh this is madness. I'll immediately sound the alarm and let everybody know to meet in the town hall." Jack gave a small nod and the mayor quickly turned around, hobbling out of jacks house. Jack closed the door, and turned around, leaning back against it. He let out a sigh before making his way back to Bella and Sally.

"I want Bella at the town meeting but I don't want to wake her up or spook her even more." He said sadly and Sally sighed.

"I know, my love. But we need to figure this out. You need to come to the town hall and Bella and I will meet you there." She said and Jack kissed her lips before leaning down and kissing Bella's forehead.

"We will figure this out. I know we will." He said, determined to set things right. It didn't take long for him to leave the house, leaving Sally and Bella alone. Sally looked down at her sleeping daughter, continuing to stroke her hair.

One way or another, They were going to
Figure this out and keep everybody safe. Especially bella. No one was going to lay a finger on their daughter.
