...????? (male)POV...
I sat on my office chair, studying my oval shaped workroom. The lights invades throughout the room, penetrating the vast set of the grand glass window/wall (which are highly bulletproof). The room was bright, but at the same time still felt dark. The walls, the chairs, and even the ceiling were colored in black. Nothing more, nothing less. Just black. And like I said, it felt dark.
I turned on my built in hologram computer at my desk, checking the time. He's late. Not just late. He's really late, imagine waiting for someone for a complete hour when there's an enormous pile of work. Yeah, I'm talking about that feeling, but then again... He's always late. Especially at this time of the week.
I tapped my finger in a dull pattern, measuring his arrival. By the sounds of rushing steps and the heavy breathing, he'll be here in about... Three seconds. I tapped my fingers again. One... Two... Three... And....-My door flung open, revealing the person I've been waiting for. My one and only-
"Ooof!" the figure tripped but quickly regained his composure.
He coughed nervously an rubbed his neck,
"Ummm... I meant to do that, and ummm... sorry for being late. Again. I got carried away watching you know... Her. Again, sorry dad." he laughed awkwardly.
"Sit" I ordered. The perso- I mean my son quickly obeyed.
Once he was seated, I revealed and placed a thick folder on top of my desk. He looked at my eyes questionably. I smiled mysteriously and slide it across my desk. Towards him. He furrowed his eyebrows and picked up the folder carefully.
"Open it... Now." I ordered yet again.
He gulped and started to open the folder.
"Dad, is this what I think it-" He asked in surprise, his mouth was now hanging open. Eyes huge.
"Happy birthday son." I cut him off.
He stared at me with disbelieve,
"You remembered?" he mumbled quite audibly.
"Yes, I did. And for the matter of fact, yes. It is what you're thinking and been wanting to have. Every single photo of the killing, sketches by the Black Marker, her professional profile and all. Hope you like it." I stood up and ruffled his chocolate hair.
He grinned like a mad man and hugged me tightly.
"Thanks dad. You're the best!" he whispered next to my ear.
I'm not that used to human interaction as you called it, being the organizer and leader of this town and all. I nodded and patted his shoulder awkwardly in return. We stayed like that for a couple of seconds and parted away. A knock was heard, followed by a small chuckle. I looked at the door to see who ruined my first father-son moment. It's Ailee, my secretary and right hand. She had one of those devilish smile again, I mentally groaned at the scene.
I gave my son a small smile and asked him to leave, he nodded in understanding and skipped his way towards the exit. I chuckle as my my son waved goodbye. Right after he was out of sight, I turned my attention to my secretary. The one who already took a comfy seat across my desk. (if she wasn't one of the best employee, I swear I would've fired her from a long time ago.)
I sighed and took a seat as well.

.
I stared at her with a hint of annoyance. She's been repeating the scene of my awkward bonding time for the past five minutes. I sighed in relief as she finally ended the torture session.
"Pat, pat.... Oh what a scene!" she giggled teasingly.
"Just get over it, it's a one time thing only." I responded coldly, but then remembered something.
"So, what is it this time? Why are you even here? The last time I checked, you're supposed to be watching the new candidates take the full license test." I asked using my usual poker face.
She stopped giggling and put on her serious face.
"About the test..." she sighed,
"It's already over." she smack her hand to her shirt, dusting it off.
"Already?" I arched an eyebrow in confusion.
There was a moment of silence, a tense one too.
"Continue your report," I broke the tension. She looked at me with a slight worry.
"If you say so..." she nodded slowly and combed her hair with her fingers in frustration.
"Only three of the candidates succeeded. The rest fail miserably" she told me carefully, knowing how much of disappointment the news could bring.
My eyes went dark and cold, piercing her emerald eyes.
"The rest?" I demanded an explanation.
She blinked in an attempted calm manner. She asked my permission and turned on my computer, activating its three dimension hologram. She typed in some codes and entered her files. The computer quickly responded, the holograms morphed some files, figures and more.
"Twenty six died," she tapped on the photos of bodies with many conditions.
"Twenty of them died in the physical test, and the other six died from the shock tube test"
"About thirty persons was disabled in the fiasco chamber, one person drowned in the atlanta hole."
She showed me the fiasco chamber footage, and the atlanta hole opening.
"The rest suffered a two or three degree burns from the fire tomb. Ten persons are in a coma."
She clarified that the chances of them surviving are less than about twenty percent.
"And the remaining three barely make it through, one female and two males." she stated, sighing in the end.
She tapped the recruits data, soon their names was showed. I looked at the names with a little pride, these were my handpicked psychos.
Rayne, the dagger expert.
Hugo, the child menace.
And lastly Allen, the puppeteer.
I shook my head and tapped on the computer, shutting it down.
"And I thought they've picked the right bunch." I turned back to her and snapped my fingers.
"Go get the new recruit ready in the morning. Make sure they're well rested." I waved my hand towards the door.
"The others?" she asked in an eerie tone.
"Have them executed by tomorrow, we've got some orders." I ordered in a clear annoyance.
I mean, it's pretty obvious isn't it? Did she forget about the order or anything? Whatever, Ill let it slide. For now.
"Oh" she mumbled, a slight disappointment was showed.
"Anything wrong with it?" I asked sickly.
"No sir, I'll tell the staff." she replied. Then I remembered.
"Ooooh... Yeah... Accept for the ones that has a family that still wanted them to live, they could live. Sorry there Ailee, I forgot that your brother even participated. Oops." I rubbed my temple while putting on a fake 'sorry' grin.
She let out an almost undetected sigh of relieve. She shook her head.
"It's about time for my brother to stop his psycho act anyway. But thanks for remembering though." She smiled and bowed her head.
I nodded.
She took a leave and left me hanging in thoughts.
I smirked as I thought about the new recruits.
Rayne,
Hugo,
Allen.
I know just about everything that involves the trio. Their strengths, weaknesses, and emotional roller-coaster reasons. With proper and harsh training, they'll become the next precious assets for this psychotic town.
My psychotic town.
