"What was she yelling about?" Hellen asked. She opened a bottle of beer and poured it all into a giant glass.

RK walked past her into the living room and sat on the couch. Hellen followed and sat next to him. "The Cole issue."

"I get so angry every time I think about how we messed that up. We should've planned better. What if we had killed Cole in a hotel room and sent Gina there? Someone would've seen her get in and she'd be a suspect."

"Okay, it already happened. Can we not talk about it? Besides, most hotels have CCTV cameras so it'd have been very risky."

"Not all. Cheap motels don't and even if some have cameras, they don't work."

"And you think Cole would go to a cheap motel? Why don't you just shut up?"

"Whatever," she said, picking up the TV remote. "What's the point in talking about it?"

"Exactly."

"You don't seem to be in a very good mood today," Hellen said, touching RK's face. "What's wrong, partner in crime?"

"Why do you hate Gina so much?" RK asked. "It doesn't seem like she's done anything horrible to you."

"Why do you want to know?"

"Well, if I'm your partner in crime like you call it, I'd want to know everything."

Hellen drank one last gulp of her beer from a glass and placed it on the table. "I'm not sure if I really hate her, you know. I've harboured resentment towards her since high school when she took away the boy I loved. What I really don't like is her attitude. She acts like she can handle anything. All I want is to see her crumble, break down and admit she's not as strong as she claims. She can be quite arrogant and makes the rest of us seem like weaklings. I just want her to be humbled so I can taunt and laugh at her."

"You're messed up," he shook his head.

"We all are," Gina said. "You are quite a mess, yourself. Lying to Liana about a girlfriend and kid dying in Corian hospital because someone paid you? Ha ha, one would've to be a real idiot to believe that but then again it's Liana so I'm not surprised. By the way, how does that benefit you? If she tells the police, they'll just check hospital records. No one died on that day. I wonder how Marlene will feel when she finds out what you've done and you're here saying I'm messed up."

"Shut up!"

"Or what? You'll tie me up again. Why did you have to tie my wrists so tight anyway? Look! These scars won't be disappearing any time soon. Forget it! That BDSM session was quite good, I loved it. You have to admit that my acting is better than yours and yet you're being paid. Liana actually believed I was embarrassed."

"We were talking about Gina."

"What surprises me is that she's a really good person devoted to her family and friends. Either she is unable to show too much emotion or she has little of it. I don't really understand. It's probably that addiction to keys which I don't understand. She's like a kleptomaniac, only she cares about keys. What do you think about all this? Do you think it's some kind of disorder?"

"Yeah, I think she started collecting keys as a hobby and then she loved it so much it became an obsession. When she'd run out of places to collect keys from in this little town, she started stealing them. It had become some kind of a disorder or addiction so it was hard for her see that she was doing something wrong. I don't know for sure because I'm not a psychologist."

"You could be right. I almost pity her."

"I see."

"Hey RK," she said, placing her hand on his lap. RK pushed her hand away, not taking his eyes off the television. "Come on. I'm bored and I know you are, too. Don't be so uptight."

"Leave me alone," he stood up. "I have a lot of problems to think about right now."

Hellen rolled her eyes and turned to the TV. "Whatever."
