Third Person's POV

"I saw her. I saw our daughter, I saw Eloise up close. I want to hug her tight but I can't bring myself to do so. Nang makita ko siya ay gusto kong bumawi sa pagkukulang ko. I want to be with her badly."

A woman said while she's wrapped with her husband's arms. That woman is in tears refusing to calm down. She's been blaming herself for the disappearance of her daughter so she's looking forward to meeting her ever since.

"You know very well that you still can't. At least not yet. After I sort things out, I will accompany you to explain things to her. But for now, we have to wait. I know you want to call her by her name, I know that you are hurting for letting her to use a name that's not even hers but once I've fixed everything, I promise that everything will be alright."

The lady nodded as she shed tears in her husband's arms. Her worried husband stroked her back to calm her down.

He knew very well that his wife missed their child a lot. They both missed their daughter but he always calm himself down as he want to be the one to serve as his wife's strength to hold on.

Meanwhile, in California. Lilia is hanging out with her friends after school. When a group of boys approached them looking like a pervert.

"Hey ladies, want to hang out?" The one of the guys asked but Lilia and her group didn't bother to respond to them and left the group unanswered.

Because of that, the leader of the gang grasp Lilia's hair while looking at his friends meaningfully. Little did he know, he's the one being played as Lilia has some tricks under her sleeves.

While the guy who's currently holding her hair is distracted, Lilia grabbed his arm and twisted it until she heard a bone crack.

Lilia tends to be brutal whenever she felt disgraced so she doesn't really care about hurting other people especially to those who have malicious intent.

The gang got scared as they saw the pitiful state of their leader, they didn't even bother to help their leader to stand and just ran to save their butts.

"Looks like you're left alone like your other arm. It's the only one that's uninjured, do you want me to crack it for you?"

Lilia asked the guy who's squealing in pain while smiling mischievously. Samantalang hindi na maipinta ang mukha ng lalaki dahil sa pag-inda nito ng sakit.

"No please, have mercy. I was wrong, I won't do it again. Please just let me off the hook just this once please."

The guy almost cried as he pleaded, he swallowed all his pride as if he is near his death. Lilia just smiled and flicked his injured arm which made him scream louder.

"Alright, since I am trying my best to be kind, I will let you off the hook little earthworm. I just hope that no fish will eat you in your current state."

After that, Lilia left the scene while her friends looked at Lilia with a surprised face as they knew Lilia as a kindhearted friend and they didn't expected the fact that she is not an easy enemy.

After everything she wanted to do, Lilia decided to part ways with her friends. She immediately checked her phone to get updates in Palladium City when she arrived at her dorm as she promised to herself that she won't talk to her family as long as she doesn't prove herself to them yet.

Suddenly, Lilia dropped her frappe while scanning a Palladium newspage. She was so shocked that she threw her phone on the floor, screaming like she'd gone crazy.

"Lilia what's wrong? What happened?" Her roommate asked as she arrived at their dorm. That's all that she can say as she saw the room in mess, she's afraid to upset Lilia more so she remained silent.

"I can't believe that my family did this to me. I am the rightful heir of our family but it seems like they forgot me and now they're giving the title to Samantha."

She angrily cried. She's been studying hard ever since her parents brought up the topic about her being the heir of their family that's why she requested to go in California in the first place to have an impressive background before she take the lead.

"I will return to Palladium and confront them." She said but her roommate opposed as she knew that Lilia will do no good.

"Lilia, even if you go to Palladium now, nothing will change, you'll just ruin things. I know that's what you want to happen, to ruin your sister's day but you'll ruin the name of your family if you made a scene. Besides, our exam is just around the corner, you can't miss it just to waste your time in unnecessary matter, you can redeem your place after you're done with your obligations here. It is your title to begin with so I am sure that you can somehow get it back."

Realizing that her roommate has a point, she managed to calm herself down a little as she looked at the mess that she caused.

"I am sorry for venting my anger to the things in this room. Let me help you clean up." Lilia sighed as she helped her roommate trying to clean her mess up.

From that day on, Lilia's resentment towards Samantha only grew. Lilia already hold grudges towards Samantha when they still live together. She even did awful things to her just to get rid of her.

But when their Dad told her that she would inherit most of the family assets, she finally let her grudges go and decided not to bother Samantha anymore.

She even studied in California to avoid hurting Samantha so she would come back with a healthy mindset and a kind heart.

Pero ngayong nalaman niya na nabaliktad na ang mundo at si Samantha na ang magiging tagapagmana, nagbalik ang galit na pinilit niyang kalimutan para sa kapakanan ng lahat. Lahat ng galit na noo'y binigay niya kay Samantha ay mas nadoble pa.

Sa ngayon ay wala na siyang inisip kundi ang pag-isip ng paraan kung paano niya kukunin pabalik ang isang bagay na pakiramdam niya'y inagaw sa kaniya.

She can't believe that while she's gone trying to cultivate herself, trying to make herself better, the hardships she'd gone through will be wasted in an instant.

'I will not hold back anymore, I will make sure that I will get back at you Samantha'

"Mom, you forgot to pick me up at school." Little Lilia asked while she's holding back her tears. Her Dad is also busy with the family's business so Lilia rode in school bus with her classmates.

"I'm sorry honey, your sister has a fever so I had to take care of her. You understand right? Isa pa, may sariling service naman ang school niyo diba? Hayaan mo sa susunod ako ang maghahatid sundo sa'yo kapag gumaling ang kapatid mo."

Lilia wiped off her tears as she nodded to her Mom's statement but she can't stop but to look at Samantha with an unexpressive face.

One time in eighth grade, Ree brought her daughters at the amusement park to celebrate Lilia's championship in painting contest. They are patiently waiting for their Mom at the entrance as she forgot something when suddenly a black van stopped in front of them.

Lilia escaped as she was alarmed that something bad might happen to her but Samantha was left there alone, screaming for help as the men in black tried to put her in the van. Lilia is so afraid that she doesn't know what to do.

They didn't bring a guard with them so there is no one to protect them. She can't just let her sister be taken away by strange men. Lilia picked up a huge rock and hit it to one of the men's head causing them to lose focus and unintentionally releasing Samantha.

"Run Sam. Don't mind me, I can handle myself. Just get some help."  Lilia exclaimed frantically so Samantha ran to do what she instructed. But when Samantha returned, Lilia is nowhere to be found.

Rhee got down to her knees as she doesn't know what to do anymore. She's worried sick about her daughter. She called the police immedately to ask for help, she's trembling that the police on the other line tried to calm her down as her statements can't be understood anymore.

Ree calmed herself and tried to elaborate what happened clearly as possible. A day passed, but there's still no news about her daughter. She is panicking when her phone rang.

Mas lalo siyang kinabahan at nanginig nang sagutin nito ang tawag. It was the kidnapper who took her daughter, they are asking for a huge sum of money in exchange for her daughter.

She frantically agreed as it is the only way to save her daughter but by doing so, she had to inform her husband about this as he doesn't know about any of this yet as he is currently on a business trip. It would be suspicious if she just took a huge sum of money from their bank account without telling him.

Her husband was furious at first as he thinks that Rhee was neglectful of her actions but he eventually calmed down as he is reminded that her daughter is on the line so he just focused on how to bring her back.

Nang malaman nila kung nasaan si Lilia, agad nila itong pinuntahan kasama ang mga pulis na sakay ng private van na ginamit nila papunta roon. May posibilidad kasi na matunugan ng mga kidnapper kung susugod ang mga ito dala ng patrol car.

Nabawi nila nang walang kahirap-hirap si Lilia na takot na takot at hinang-hina dahil wala pa itong nakakain magmula nang madukot ito. Nahuli ang ilan sa mga mandurukot pero may mga ilan pa ding mga nakatakas.

Pagkalipas ng isang linggo nang makarecover si Lilia dahil sa nangyari, bumalik ang mga magulang nito sa dati, kay Samantha nakatuon ang atensyon at lagi  namang abala ang ama sa trabaho.

Nakaramdam si Lilia ng galit sa nakikita, pinagsisisihan niya na binalikan pa niya si Samantha. Pinagsisisihan niya na hindi niya inuna ang sarili niya. She saved her sister but no one acknowledged what she did.
