Before we get into the story, I want to talk about something a bit. During the idea of the story, there was someone else from DC that I wanted to put in as Jaime's new lover. But the problem is that, I made a rule that would only for us on the Scarab when it involved the DC side itself. So because of that, I had to debate on whether I should break the rule, and add the lover with Jaime, or should I keep the rule, and make one of my own type here. After a bit of debating myself, I came to the decision that I should break the rule, and give it out. So, without further notice, it's time to dive in.

Blue Beetle is now outside in a type of mission, along with the Newborns present. Apparently, there is a type of something that crashed somewhere in a abandoned city, somewhat. The group have no idea why this happened, but they went there at fast speeds.

5 of the members are sent to locate of where the crash has taken place. Jaime, however, was looking worried. True, he has been worried in the past. But this one...it is very different. It is as though...he knows that it is about.

"Jaime Reyes. You seemed...worried. Do you know of something?"

Khaji Da spoke out to his host. He has seen and felt Jaime being worried, but Jaime's now...unusually quiet. This is the first time he is acting this way. What is going on here in the mind of Jaime? But as they kept moving, Jaime than turns around, and scanned so enter from west. There is smoke coming her, and sees a humanoid being with really long red hair. Jaime, without telling anyone, suddenly goes to the west, fast.

The other Newborns were caught by surprise at that happening.

"Woah, dude. Where are you going?!"

Rex shout out loud. Alex, however, has a good guess at what is happening.

'That idiot!'

He than spoke out to everyone present here.

"Everyone, turn west, and follow to where Jaime is heading!"

Everyone didn't argue or object at what Alex has ordered. Toxin than made wings and began to glide to west. Rex activate his boogie packs to fly with better control. Alex than made his Whipfist, and reeled himself high into the air, before beginning to glide and gain more mobility.

"Is there something bother Jaime that is making him go to the direction he's in? No, that can't be right! It must be something else. It must be something important. Well...whatever it is that is making Jaime act the way he is right now, it must be affecting him. I just hope that it isn't a bad effect type.'

Alex thought out, as he began to run in the wall of a building, before backflipping from the building, and beginning to glide down to another building from here again. He just hopes the Jaime knows what he is doing.

Back to Jaime, he is seen rocketing towards the area of the crashed sight. And what he saw proved what is making him act this.

There are a couple of winged beings present right there. And they are holding a girl with long red hair. And is also wearing purple, with metal on the edges. Blue Beetle actually has a dream about it. The girl that he is seeing has been crying for help when he is dreaming about her, but cannot understand the language that she is speaking before. It was dragging him nuts, not understanding the female there.

Deciding to help out, Jaime than pulled out an email cannon, and blasted the ones holding the female by the arms, before jumping into action, and attacking the enemies there. The enemies tried to attack Jaime rather directly, but he dodged, blocked, and attacked back. He made an arm cannon, and sent many forced back. The others behind him began to attack, but the newborns than intervened and stopped them. The others noticed them and began to attack them, while the Newborns simply jumped out of the way, and go to other, seperated parts of the city to fight them.

Jaime than turns to the female. When she raised her head, her gets a clear look at her for real.

The female had orange skin, long red poofy hair, and eyes as green as emerald. The suit is purple and silver, which is somewhat revealing. She also has silver armbands. She than spoke to him in a strange language that he guess wasn't from earth. But she than looked at the portal in the sky.

The portal there must have been from where the enemies have appeared on earth here. As he began to scan it, Jaime spoke to the Scarab for any suggestions here.

"Khaji Da. Is there any way to close the portal?"

After a minute, Khaji Da than spoke out to Jaime.

"I do have a weapon mod that could help us with this sort of thing. But you will only have one shot at this, Jaime."

As Jaime nodded, he than saw the female attack again. This time, by the neck.

One of the enemies wrapped a whip around her neck, causing her to choke, badly. Jaime than blasts the enemy, and than aime that the sky with the cannon that had modded to close doors.

'I really hope this works.'

He than shot at the portal. Nothing happened, until a second later...when so suddenly...

BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

An explosion was heard, and the portal is beginning to drag everything into it.

Unfortunately, everybody went next to the portal, and are about to be sucked into it. Alex pulls out his Tendrils to hold onto the ground. Toxin and Scorn do the same with their own tendrils, and Rex used the Smack Hand and the Punk Busters at the same time, holding himself to the ground itself. Jaime than used his appendages, and held onto the girl. But one of the enemies grabbed onto her leg, and Jaime realized that he can't attack on ground. So he did another option to work. He let's go, gets up close, and than went towards the enemy, Face-to-Face. He than pulls out his Cannon Arm, and shot it. This caused the enemy to let go, and Jaime held onto the girl, and began flying away for dear life. The portal that exploded again, and it caused the 2 beings to crash the ground, with Jaime being the one below the girl he saved. The girl than gets up and looked down at Jaime Reyes, who release the mask, and revealed his face, with the girl than speaking out in the strange language again. It is unknown what she is saying, but it is a sign of gratitude here. She than lower and kissed Jaime right in the lips.

Alex and the others were a bit surprised at what just happened, but when she rose up and spoke out...she's now speaking in English.

Jaime was a bit surprised. She had learned his language. How is that possible, really?

"You can understand me now?"

The female nodded her head, before speaking out to him.

After that, she began to stand up on her feet. Her appearance is fully revealed to everyone present to her.

Everyone stood to gawk at her and the way she was dressed up, as well as how tall she is. She's even taller than even Rex himself, who is obviously, the tallest member of the Newborns, by about 6'4. Patricia, however, didn't care of how tall she is, and look very jealous of how beautiful the female here is. Alex, however, was unaffected by the beauty of the remake, and spoke out to her, kindly.

"Excuse me. But how do people feel fratefuo about being attacked?"

The female looked surprised at Alex, and later looked a bit embarrassed of herself.

"Of course. I am grateful. It is nice to meet you. Thanks for saving me."

"Nice to meet you to."

Everyone spoke, except Patrica. Who simply grumbled it out, jealously. Alex, however, was concerned about what has just happened before.

"So...do you mind telling me...what had just happened?"

Koriand'r than looked down, unhappily. Obviously, whatever happened...isn't good.

"It is a...long story."

"And we would like hearing whatever long the story is."

Koriand'r looked surprised. But than scorn sighed, and spoke out.

"Is there someplace private we can talk about what happened? We really don't want, you-know-what to know this."

Everyone looked surprise, but than Jaime made a dome, and turned the dome invisible, as well as Koriand'r and the members of the newborn outside.

"Good. Now I can talk about what just happened. I hope you are ready for what you are about to hear.

"We all are ready."

Koriand'r looked at everyone present. She smiled, but than sighed, as she speaks the situation.
