"This dress is too tight!" I complain as Mom pulls the strings to the corset.

"Sorry baby," she tells me as I look into the mirror and run my fingers over the dress that I was ready to take off.

"How long do I have to wear this?" I ask mom as she smiles at me.

"You can take it off after the parade," she tells me making me smile at her.

"Yes! Now the hard part getting in the car," I tell mom making her laugh at me as we head downstairs.

"Caroline come on!" I yell up the stairs ready to get this off.

"I'm coming!" She yells as she comes downstairs. I smile at her.

"Alright let's go," I say as we lock arms and head towards the car.

After an interesting way of getting in and out of the color we were soon in town square.

As I was walking around I saw Damon and Stefan. I smiled at them as they turned to me. I smile at them and curtsy.

"Hello boys," I say as I smile and walk over to them.

"You look amazing Cupcake. The 1800s for you," Damon says making me glare at him.

"I hate this! This dress is annoying and I can't walk right. I am so ready to change clothes," I tell them making them laugh at me.

"Rosie!" I hear a voice yell and turn to see Caroline waving me over. I smile at her telling her to give me a second.

"Got to go! But I'll see you both later," I say with a smile as I look at the two.

"Wait Stefan your tie," I say with a smile as I head closer to him. I smile at him as I fix his tie.

Stefan looks down at Rosie with a smile and when she looks up his eyes lock with hers. He doesn't want to let break contact first. He always did get lost in her eyes. Suddenly a throat was cleared and Rosie took a step back.

"Uhm I have to go. See you both later," Rosie said as she walk over towards her sister. Damon turns Stefan around making him look at him.

"Stefan I am going to warn you now. If you hurt my Cupcake I will kill you. Brother or not," Damon warns with a dark look in his eyes.

"I would never hurt Rosie," Stefan tells Damon making him nod.

"Alright," Damon says as he pats his brother's chest and walks off.

"Alright! Come on Rosie it's about to start," Caroline says as Stefan and Matt help up on the float.

Caroline stands on the top with Matt. As I stand a step below her with a random guy because Jermey had to do the float for extra points in history. Stefan and Elena were two steps below us and then the rest of the girls.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our stunning Miss Mystic Falls Court and their handsome escorts," Mrs.Lockwood says into the microphone as we all wave at the crowd.

"This is Caroline and Rosalie Forbes, Miss Mystic Falls Queen and Princess. Aren't they beautiful?" Mrs. Lockwood says as I look towards Caroline and we both smile at each other before looking back at the crowd.

I see Bonnie in the crowd and I smile and wave at her. Bonnie waves back at me when suddenly Damon walks in front of Bonnie and stops, smiles, and waves to me.

I roll my rolls eyes at him with a smile on my face. Damon turns around and sees Bonnie.

"What do you want?" Bonnie questions annoyed.
"Just watching the parade," Damon tells her as she begins to leave.

"Where are you going?" Damon questions her as Bonnie continues to walk away.

"Away from you," Bonnie tells him.
"I wanna say something to you," Damon tells her.

"Just leave me alone!" Bonnie yells not turning towards him. Damon gets in front of her stopping her making Bonnie huff.

"Thank you. The device that Emily spelled could have killed me. I don't take what you did lightly so...thank you," Damon tells her sincerely.

"I did it for Rosie," Bonnie tells him as guilt begins to overcome her. She lied to Rosie and to everyone else about deactivating the device, but she believed it was the right thing. Right?

"I know that, but I'm still very grateful. And...I owe you," Damon tells her as they look at each other for a moment.

"Enjoy the parade," Damon tells her as he leaves.

Finally, the parade was over and the first thing I did was head towards the bathroom change out of that dress, and put on something more comfortable.

As I walked out of the bathroom I bumped into a chest. As I was about to fall down an arm wrapped around my waist. I sigh in relief and lookup. A smile immediately overcomes my face.

"Thanks, Steffie!" I tell him making him smile at me.
"No problem Rosie," he tells me making my smile bigger.

"You want to go get some snow cones with me?" I ask him making him smile.

"You want snow cones, not ice cream?" He asks surprised making me laugh.

"I can have ice cream any day but I go only have snow cones when there is a parade or a fair," I tell him making him smile at me as we head towards the snow cones stand.

As we grab our snow cones and we're laughing together Damon comes up to us and grabs my hand.

"What are you doing?" I ask Damon confused but more concerned seeing the look on his face.

"Saving your life. Fifteen words or less...Tomb vamps are here. Founding families are their target," Damon says and he looks at Stefan.

"Get her out of here, now!" Damon tells him sternly as he starts to leave.

"Wait, where are you going?" Stefan asks as Damon continues to walk.

"That's more than fifteen words, Stefan," Damon says as he leaves.

"Go find my sister and Jeremy. Get them out of here," I tell Stefan as I start to run after Damon.

"Wait, Rosalie!" Stefan yells after me but I ignore him heading towards Damon.

"Come on," I say as I grab Damon's hand. He looks toward me shaking his head.

"I'm coming with you no matter what," I tell him making him sigh as we walk into Grayson Gilbert's Office.

We walk in as John is preparing the device. I glare at him as Damon and I stand side by side.

"Do you have any idea what you've done?" Damon questions as John doesn't even turn to us.

"Yeah, as a matter of fact, I do," John says as Damon and I go toward him, John activates the device making Damon fall to the floor. Damon grabs the sides of his head and screams.

I immediately squat down beside him. I turn to John with a glare.

"What the fuck are you doing? Stop it!" I yell as John walks toward me and slams my head into the wall making me fall down to the ground.

My vision kept going in and out as I see John stick something into Damon's neck. I try to get up but I couldn't. Soon enough I fall unconscious.

The device is stopped. John takes everything back and goes into the basement. Damon is on the floor, unconscious. Deputies are bringing more vampires.

"The device is done; the only thing keeping them down is vervain. We don't have much time, let's finish this," John says as Damon begins to wake up.

One of the Deputies is pouring gasoline everywhere when he pauses seeing Rosie.

"What is she doing in here?" The deputy questions as John pauses and turns towards the two. He sighs knowing what had to do. He grabs the lighter and throws it at the deputy making him burn.

The basement is on fire. Damon looks around trying to find Rosie when he sees the mayor.

"Mayor. Is that you?" Damon questions.
"What are you doing here?" Mayor Lockwood questions him.

"I'm a vampire. What's your excuse?  No, really. The vervain didn't affect you, you're not a vampire, what the hell are you?" Damon questions as the mayor scoot backward to get away from Damon. He bumps into the tomb vampires' leader, who is waking.

"Mayor Lockwood!" The vampire leader reaches an arm around Mayor Lockwood from behind and grabs his chin, pulls violently, and snaps his neck. Damon seeing this slowly smiles before he turns worried when he finally spits Rosie.

She was closer to the fire than him and was still bleeding from the head injury John gave him. But as the flames came closer to her they went out. It was like they couldn't touch her.

Stefan was running towards the building where Rosie and Damon ran to. He knew the vampire were rounded up and already knew that Damon was taken. And if he was taken so was Rosie.

Even though the sound stops Stefan still had a terrible headache. It was like someone bashed his head into a wall.

"Wait, wait, wait, I can hear them. The building is on fire," Stefan says with panic clear in his voice.

"What?" Elena asks wide-eyed.
"The building's on fire!" Stefan yells as he and Elena go towards John, talking to him.

"Where is Damon?" Elena asks as Stefan glares at John.

"With the rest of them, where he should be. It's over for Damon. And Rosie," John says making Stefan even angrier.

"You're crazy!" Elena yells at him full of disgust.

"Why? Because I'm doing what should have been done a hundred and forty-five years ago? This is the right thing, Elena," John says as Stefan looks at the building. John looks at him.

"Go ahead, you won't make it out. It'll save me the trouble of killing you myself," John tells him as Stefan looks at Elena.

"You know the building well, is there another way in?" Stefan asks her as Elena nods.

"Utility door, there's one around the side," Elena says as Stefan runs towards the emergency door but Bonnie arrives.

"Hey, you can't go in there!" Bonnie yells at him as Stefan opens the door.

"The fire will take you out," Bonnie tells him Stefan turns to her.

"He's my brother, Bonnie! And Rosie is in there!" Stefan tells her as he runs inside. Bonnie freezes when he says that. Rosies in there was her only thought.

Stefan goes into the building, he tries to open the basement door but the doorknob is too hot. Bonnie is looking at the building when she suddenly closes her eyes and starts to chant.

"Ex spiritum intacullum, in terrum incendium, fes matos salvis adisdum!" Bonnie chants aloud.

Bonnie is still reciting the spell. In the building, Stefan can finally open the door but the fire is too large. Suddenly, the flames diminish, thanks to Bonnie's spell. Stefan goes into the basement and tries to find Damon and Rosie.

"Damon! Come on, hurry!" Stefan yells as he heads toward his brother but Damon points to Rosie.

Stefan turns and immediately speeds over towards the brunette and picks her up bridal style. Stefan then heads back towards Damon picks him up by his arms and vamp runs out of the basement.

Soon enough Stefan Rosie and Damon come out of the building, Elena runs toward them but both boys ignore her as Stefan lays Rosie down.

"She is barely breathing!" He yells as he starts doing CPR. Bonnie was looking with tears in her eye. She did this. Her best friend is dying because of her.

Soon enough Rosie wakes with a startle as she starts to cough making all three Stefan Bonnie and Damon sigh in relief.

Stefan pulls Rosie into his arms holding her close.
"You're okay. You're okay," Stefan continues to repeat as he holds her close.

"Yeah I'm okay," Rosie says as she looks over his shoulder to see Damon.

"Dames!" Rosie yells as she gets up and runs to him making Damon pull her into his arms.

"Never follow me into danger again," Damon tells her sternly making Rosie laugh when suddenly she felt dizzy and something was wrong.

"Caroline," Rosie whispers before letting go of Damon.

"Somethings wrong with Caroline. I have to go," Rosie yells as she grabs her phone and sees over 50 messages from her mom saying that she needed to come to the hospital.

Everyone looked at the brunette confused but she didn't care. Her twin was hurt and if anything happened to her. Then the world would burn.

Getting to the hospital I run right in and look for my mom.

"Mom!" I yell as I run towards her and she sighs in relief seeing me.

"What happened? Is Care okay?" I ask her making her look at me sadly.

"There was an accident. It caused some internal bleeding; they're taking her into surgery," Mom said making me freeze.

"But she is going to be okay right?" I question mom with tears in my eyes.

"They're gonna do everything they can," mom tells me as I felt like my world completely stopped with those words.

She couldn't die. I can't live without her. My twin. My other half. My best friend. I couldn't imagine a world without her in it.

I sat down in the waiting chair just waiting for Caroline to come out from hiding and say this was all a prank. But I know it wasn't. I felt the tears finally fall and I sobbed into my hand.

Meanwhile, in New York City a man painted the city below when a knock was heard.

"Come in," the man called making one of his followers come inside.

"Sir we found her," the follower said making the man pause.

"Are you sure? Because if this is another trick I will rip out your tongue," the man threatens his follower making him shake in fear.

"No sir we are sure. She has no scent and the ripper is around her without even knowing who she is," the follower said making the man turn towards him.

"What's her name?" The man asked with a glare.

"Rosalie. Rosalie Forbes."
