BEYOND DISAPPOINTED

Elena groggily awakens. She spots Ben sitting in a chair by the end of the bed, sleeping. She looks to the bed beside her and sees a passed-out Rosie with blood on the side of her head.

She gasps and sits up frantically. Elena looks around for a way out and stares at the front door. She looks from Ben to the door, estimating if she can make it without waking him.

Quietly, Elena slides off the bed and slowly steps over Ben's outstretched leg. She slowly backs up to the door, keeping an eye on Ben. Elena unlocks the deadbolt on the door, looking back at Ben occasionally. Elena turns the lock on the door and prepares to open it.

"I wouldn't," Ben tells her as Elena gasps and spins around. Ben inches towards Elena and uses his compulsion on her.

"Don't try to escape. Don't even move. Do you understand?" Ben tells her as he tries to compel her.

"I understand," Elena told him acting like it worked making Ben scoffs and turns around to get a bottle of blood out of the mini-fridge. Elena opens the front door and bolts out, but Anna blocks her escape. Anna grabs Elena by the hair and pushes her back into the motel room.

"Seriously?!" Anna questions making Rosie wake up from the loud noises. She looks around confused as she spots Ben, Elena, and some girl holding Elena.

"I told her not to move! I did that eye thing that you taught me!" Ben yells at the shorter girl with pale skin and dark hair.

"And forgot the lesson about vervain! She dates a vampire, Ben. Duh!" Anna yells as she pushes Elena up against a wall and opens the bathroom door.

"Who are you? What do you want?" Elena asks her making Anna roll her eyes.

"Does it matter?" Anna asks as she forcefully pushes Elena into the bathroom and shuts the door. Elena flips the light switch and calmly searches the room for another exit. Elena looks over towards the bathtub and sees Bonnie lying in it, unconscious. Elena rushes over to her.

Anna looks back to see a now-awake Rosie and smiles at her.

"I think it's time to call your Salvatore brothers don't you?" Anna questions looking at Rosalie making me glare at her.

Damon is in the study, reading through Emily's grimoire. Stefan enters the room with an anxious look on his face. Damon does not look up at him.

"Anna took Elena," Stefan told him as Damon doesn't even lookup.

"Yeah, I got that from your 600 voice mails," Damon tells his brother as he rolls his eyes. Stefan strides across the room towards Damon.

"Damon, all night long, every single street in town, I've been searching. What if your blood hasn't passed out of her system?" Stefan questions as he looks down at his phone. He has called Rosie over a hundred times and she hasn't answered.

He thought Damon probably told her about him and Elena betraying him and was ignoring him. Which hurt a lot more than he thought it would.

"Well, then at least you know you'll see her again," Damon tells him with a cheeky look.

"Please," Stefan begs as he sits down on the sofa, next to Damon.

"What do you know? You were with Anna, you must know where's she living. Just tell me where I can find her," Stefan begs his brother making Damon look up at him.

"Nope. You can go. Really," Damon tells his brother still hurt that he betrayed him. He just wants closure so he can move on. That's it.

"You know, all I can remember is hating you. There might have been a time when that was different, but your choices have erased anything good about you," Stefan tells him as Damon lays the grimoire down and gives his attention to Stefan.

"But see, I also know you have just as much reason to hate me. This all began with me. Katherine got taken away from you because of me. And I'm sorry," Stefan tells him making Damon nod.

"Apology accepted," Damon tells him but he didn't care about Katherine or anything. He just for once wanted his brother on his side and he betrayed him. Again.

"So please, just tell me what you know," Stefan pleads.
"Huh," Damon says as he looks thoughtful.

"It's Elena, Damon. If you know something, tell me," Stefans begs him making Damon roll his eyes. He didn't care about Elena.

Damon stands up and Stefan mimics him, looking at Damon with anxiety.

"I mean this sincerely," Damon starts making Stefan nod, anticipating his answer.
"I hope Elena dies," Damon tells him with a smile as he starts to walks past Stefan to leave the room.

"Can you at least tell Rosie to answer her phone!" Stefan yells out as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. His head had been hurting all night and he couldn't figure out why. When he said that it made Damon pause and look towards him.

"I haven't seen her since last night when she left the Gilbert house," Damon tells him making Stefan freeze.

"Neither have I," Stefan told him making Damon worry. Rosie always answered her phone so why wasn't she?

Suddenly Stefans phone went off and he looked down to see Rosie 🌹❤️. He sighed relief answering the phone immediately.

"Hey, are you okay?" Stefan asked immediately.
"She might be," Stefan and Damon heard, and both tensed. It wasn't Rosie who said it, it was Anna.

"What the hell have you done to her? Put her on the phone now," Stefan demanded angrier than he ever was. Damon looked surprised but he was angry too. Anna kidnapped his best friend and if she was hurt her, she was going to pay.

"She's fine. For now. Tell me you have the grimoire and she'll stay fine," Anna tells him making him shake is his head.

"I want to hear it from her," Stefan told her making Damon nod. They needed to know she was alive. Anna huffed and soon they heard the voice they both wanted to hear.

"Steffie," Rosie said softly making both Stefan and Damon sigh in relief.

"Are you okay?" Stefan asked her beyond worried. He forgot the second that he heard Anna's voice on Rosalie's phone that his girlfriend was kidnapped too. All he cared about was Rosie nothing else.

"I'm okay. My head just hurts from when Ben busted my head into my car window," Rosie told him making him see red. There was another shuffle then they heard Anna's voice again.

"See she's alive now the grimoire?" Anna asked him making Stefan look down.

"I can get it," Stefan said looking at his brother who had his jaw clenched.

"Which means your brother has it. And I have the witch. So one of you had better meet me in the very public town square in 30 minutes so we can safely discuss how fun it's gonna be to work together," Anna told him as she tried to hang up but Stefan's voice stopped her.

"Wait," Stefan told her making her pause.
"Yes?" Anna questioned annoyed.

"If you or Ben touch another piece of hair on her head I will kill everyone in this town just to kill you and I will make it beyond painfully. So painful that your nightmares will be heaven for what I will do to you. Do you understand?" Stefan told her in a dark voice making Damon look surprised before smirking.

"If you don't get me that grimoire I will deliver her head in a box," Anna told him making him hang up and look towards Damon.

"Let's go kill the bitch," Damon told him making Stefan nod.

"I'll go talk to Shelia Bennett. She trusts me. You go meet with Anna," Stefan told his brother making him nod.

"I guess for once we are both on the same team brother," Damon tells him making Stefan glare at the wall.

"It seems so," Stefan told him as they both left to go do their own thing.

After hanging up the phone Anna knocks on the bathroom door.

"I'm leaving," Anna calls out as Ben opens the door to the bathroom and leads Bonnie and Elena out. I immediately get up and go towards Bonnie wrapping my arms around her as I led her towards the couch.

"Keep them buttoned down. Compulsion won't work. Just use violence," Anna tells him making me roll my eyes at him.

"Right. I got that," Ben tells her as Anna leaves.
"Sit. Behave," Ben tells us as I glare at him but he just looks at Bonnie.

"So you're the key to this. Literally. The one who opens the door. Tell me, how long have you been a witch?" Ben asks her making me hold Bonnie tighter. I wasn't going to let anything happen to her.

"Is there anything to drink here?" Elena asks making me look at her as if she was crazy. Ben gets up and walks over to Elena.

"Are you offering? There's water on the nightstand," Ben tells her as Elena picks up the glass of water and starts to take a drink.

"Hey. Can I have a sip?" Bonnie questions as Elena
pulls the glass away from her mouth, confused about what Bonnie plans on doing, but she stills hands over the glass.

Bonnie takes it and tosses the water on Ben. Bonnie turns the water into flames. Ben yells and pats the flame down on his arm.

Elena Bonnie and I get up and run to the door. Bonnie and Elena make it to the door and open it, ready to run out, but Ben grabs me before they could make it out.

"Come back in! Shut the door!" Ben yells as Bonnie starts to slide back into the room but not Elena.

"Don't hurt her!" Bonnie yells as I shake my head at her.

"Don't make me! Both of you in now!" Ben yells as Bonnie grabs Elena and pulls her in and then she
shuts the door behind her.

"Lock it!" Ben yells making Bonnie deadbolts the door.

Soon enough Anna sits down on a bench, waiting and looking around. Suddenly, Damon appears next to her, sitting on the bench.

"Got a hot date or are you just plan on nabbing the entire Gilbert family?" Damon asks her seeing how she tried to ask him out but he said no.

"A party, right next to the old cemetery. Isn't that nice of them? Lots of warm bodies for starving vampires," Anna tells him with a smirk.

"I told you. I work alone," Damon tells her not mentioning Rosie.

"Yeah, so do I. But your minus a witch and I'm minus a spellbook. So what do you say?" Anna asks him making Damon smirk at her.

"Stefan will come after you, you know that. For messing with Elena," Damon tells her making Anna shake her head.

"Then he won't be too happy if I kill Rosie when I don't get what I want," Anna told him not being fooled by him. She knew Rosalie Forbes was the one they both cared for not Elena. She just took Elena because she looked like Katherine and hated her.

Anna then gets up and starts to walk away. Damon glares at her before sighing knowing there was nothing else he could do.

"When do you want to do this?" Damon asks her making Anna smile and turn around, laughing at Damon.

"God, it's like 1864 all over again. You, Salvatores, are truly pathetic when it comes to women. Tonight. After sundown. Meet at the church," Anna tells him as she
leaves.

Elena was sitting on one bed as Bonnie and I sat on the other. Bonnie was looking at my head that was still bleeding some. As Ben paces in front of them.

"Witches don't have eternal life, right? So you guys can die," Ben said towards Bonnie making me glare at him.

"Yep. We can die," Bonnie tells him as she holds on to me tight. I look at her and smile softly I wasn't going to let anything happen to her.

"Ah. That sucks," Ben says making me roll my eyes when all of a sudden, Stefan kicks the door in with Damon beyond him.

Ben screams as the sunlight starts to burn his skin. Stefan rips the curtain open, allowing more sunlight to pour in. Ben grabs me and uses me as a shield as he hides behind the bed. I try to get out of his hold but I was still weak.

"Stefan!" Elena yells as she and Bonnie get up and dash out the door. Bonnie is hesitant when doesn't see me behind her but Elena pulls her out.

"Get outside!" Stefan tells both girls. He and Damon then walk over to Ben. Damon pulls me up and into his arms as looks down at Ben with a glare so intense I thought he was going to kill him.

"When the sun goes down, leave town. If I ever see you again, or around Rosie I will kill you," Stefan tells him as he walks over to me pulls me from Damon's arms, and holds me close.

"Are you okay?" He asks me making me nod into his chest as I held him tightly.

"Come on let's go. Shelia Bennett is worried about you and Bonnie," Stefan told me as both brothers start heading out with me in between them.

"Here," Stefan told me giving me his waist seeing the blood still coming out of my head. I shake my head at him.

"It's fine just a head bump," I told him making him nod but still look concerned.

"You okay Cupcake?" Damon asked me making me look towards him and nod.

"Yeah Thank you both for saving us," I told both brothers making them smile at me.

"Of course. Come on," Stefan tells me as we start to leave but we hear a voice.

"Stefan!" Elena yells making Damon rolls his eyes and Stefan turns to her. He actually forget about her when he saw Rosie but shook his thoughts away. It was just because they were friends. Just friends right?

Bonnie Sheila and I were sitting at a table. After getting away from the hotel Stefan brought us here as Damon left. He seemed upset but he told me he would tell me later.

"How did you know where we were?" Bonnie asks her Grams as I looked at grams wanting to know how too.

"Many things can fuel a witch's power. Worry. Anger. After Stefan told me they had taken you both, I had a lot of both. Simple locater spell was easy after that," Grams tells us making me smile at her.

"I'm sorry. About all of this," Bonnie tells her as Grams smirks.

"Not as sorry as they're gonna be," Grams said as she look towards me and I smile at her as Stefan and Elena entered the room.

"So what do we do now?" Elena asks making me roll my eyes at her.

"Well, for now, you need to stay here," Stefan tells us making me immediately shake my head.

"No," I told him as he looks towards me and grams starts talking.

"A prisoner, in my own home? I don't think so," grams tells him making me nod agreeing with her.

"I can't protect you if you leave the house," Stefan tells her but he looks towards me.

"We'll protect ourselves," Grams tells him as she smiles at me.

"We need to let him have Katherine back. He's not going to stop until he gets her. If we help him, maybe that ends it," Elena says making me look towards her confused.

"No! He doesn't deserve to get what he wants," Bonnie yells making me glare at her.

"What other choice do we have?" Elena tells her as she
looks up at Stefan.

"Witches being pulled down by vampire problems. As much as we tried to do to stay out of it. I'll open the tomb. You get your brother's girl and destroy the rest with fire. Then this will be all over," Grams says making me shake my head.

"We still have to get Damon to agree," Stefan tells her and I was just so confused. What happened when I was kidnapped?

"He already agreed once," Elena tells him.
"Yeah, and then we double-crossed him. So now he's angry," Stefan says and I freeze at that making Grans look at me with a knowing look but I ignore it glaring at Stefan and Elena.

"You did what?" I asked in a calm voice but I was anything but calm. Stefan and Elena turn towards me.

"We had to Rosie he wanted Katherine back and-," Elena started to say but I stopped her.

"Shut the fuck up Elena!" I yelled as I stood up making everyone look towards me. Bonnie and Stefan were surprised and Grams looked like she wanted some popcorn.

"He didn't want her back! He wanted closure! He wanted to know why she did what she did to him! That's all! Also, this doesn't even involve you! This is Stefan and Damon's lives! This happened to them not you! So shut up you manipulative little bitch!" I yelled at her making her look at me surprised as I turned to Stefan glaring.

"You were on our side so what did she say to convince you to change sides, Stefan?" I asked him with venom in my voice.

"She told me Damon wanted Katherine back and if she came back she would probably kill everyone," Stefan told me making me glare at Elena. I look at Stefan and shake my head at him beyond disappointed.

"I can't believe you. You let another girl come between you and your brother again. Let me tell you something, Stefan. Girls will come and go. They will break your heart into a million pieces but you and your brother, you both are stuck with each other for eternity. I could never betray Care for some guy. He wanted closure that's it. He deserved it after everything she did to him and you," I told Stefan making him look down.

"You say Damon is the bad brother but in my eyes right now that's you," I told Stefan as I shake my head at him beyond disappointed.

"I'll text Damon to tell him to meet us at the tomb," I told grams as she nodded at me and I started to leave. I didn't even look at Stefan or Elena as I left.
