A few hours later I woke up to feel some kiss my neck. I hummed in agreement as the person smirks and I already knew who it was.

"What time is it Klausie?" I ask him as I open my eyes to see Klaus looking at me with a smile.

"Around eleven. Stefan had to go see Damon and I would let you sleep but Caroline already came in her saying your mom wants to see you two," Klaus says with a pout making me laugh.

"Alright, I need to start getting ready. Oh by the way we have a new house guest," I tell Klaus with a sheepish smile as I run to the bathroom locking the door.

"What?!" I hear Klaus yell as I smile and start taking a shower. I wasn't going to wash my hair or anything since mom was waiting for us and I was probably already late.

I could hear Klaus knocking on the door asking questions as I finish my shower and walk to the closet that was connected to the bathroom.

Getting dressed in some clothes I threw my hair in a messy bun before walking back out to see Klaus with his arms crossed as he sat on the bed.

"His name is Kai. Somehow I sent myself to a prison world in my sleep and I brought him back with me. I won't tell you everything because it is his story but he has been through a lot he did it deserve so he will either be staying here or at either the Boarding House or my house," I tell Klaus as I stood between his legs with my arms around his neck and his on my waist.

"Fine but if he does anything to hurt you or anyone else I will kill him," Klaus says making me smile at him as I boop his name with a smile on my face.

"You are so adorable when you threaten to kill people," I tell him making him glare at me as I smile even bigger.

I lean down and kiss his lips softly making him smile as he wraps his arms around me. Once we pull away I lay my head against his with a smile.

"I love you," I whisper making him smile as he kisses my nose.

"And I love you, my Queen," Klaus tells me making me smile at him. He wraps his arms tighter around me as he lays his head in the crook of my neck breathing in my scent as I run my fingers through his hair.

As we were enjoying our moment a knock was heard at the door making Klaus groan as I smile.

"Come in," I call out as the door opens and Caroline walks in.

"Mom is waiting for us at the house," Caroline says making me nod.

"Alright," I tell her as I turn to Klaus and kiss his cheek before smiling at him.

"Introduce yourself to Kai and let him meet Kol. He is from a 1994 prison world so he needs to learn about this year," I tell Klaus as I get out of his arms making him groan.

"Love you!" I call out as I leave the room with Care hearing Klaus yell it back. We decided to borrow more like steal Klaus's car and drove home.

Getting there Caroline and I walk in with smiles.
"Mom!" We yell together as we walk into the house and towards the living room.

But both of our smiles drop seeing mom with tears strain checks.

"Mom?" We question as we go to her side. Caroline on one and me on the other.

"What's wrong?" Caroline asks as I interlock my fingers with hers making her squeeze my hand.

"There is something I need to tell you both," mom tells us making me concerned as Caroline grabs her other hand.

"What is it?" I ask her as she looks at us sadly.

"I have cancer," mom tells us making the breath get knocked out of my lungs. I felt like a couldn't breathe with those three words. Three words that changed everything.

No, she couldn't. No, my mom can't because she's my mom. She's strong and amazing and everything. She can't. I can't even think about something happening to her. No, she won't. She'll be fine. She'll be fine.

"My last appointment the doctors found something abnormal so they sent me to go get some test done. I don't tell either of you because I didn't want to worry you in case it with nothing but the test come back alright but it didn't. It says I have Glioblastoma. There is a lesion on my brain stem," Mom tells us as both Caroline and I look at her with tears in her our trying not to fall apart. 

"But there is good news. They did catch it early so they are making plans to do radiation and chemo," Mom says as I nod.

"That's good. I'll find you a good doctor and everything. If we need to travel we will. Because we will get through this like we get through everything. As a family," I tell them making both Caroline and mom nod at me.

"As a family," they say together as we wrap our arms around each other crying.

We all cried so much that Caroline and mom fell asleep. I smile at both of them asleep hugging each other. I got up and headed towards where my computer was sitting on the kitchen table and started researching everything.

Caroline woke up to loud noises and looked around seeing her Mom asleep but no Rosie.

"No, listen to me! I want all of her medical records sent to me so I can fax them to a doctor," Caroline heard a familiar voice yell.

She looks at the clock and sees that it is around four am and gets up. She goes towards the kitchen and looks around wide-eyed.

Rosie stood in the kitchen pacing with her glasses on and her hair in a messy bun. There were papers all around the kitchen table and it looks like maybe three or four coffee mugs with two pints of ice cream.

"Rosie?" Caroline questions but Rosie either ignored her or didn't hear her.

"No if you don't I will come down there and kick your ass," Rosie says into the phone with a glare as the phone starts ringing again.

"Hold please," Rosie tells the one on the phone as she answers the phone.

"Rosalie Forbes speaking," Rosie speaks into the phone as she types something on the computer.

"No, if she needs to come on the way to Minnesota she needs a private room. Luxury one and I will pay extra for it," Rosie states making Caroline even more confused.

"Rosie what are you doing?!" Caroline asks louder than last time making Rosie turn to her.

"Hold on Crystal," Rosie says as she puts the phone down and looks toward Caroline.

"Yes, what is it? I'm busy," Rosie says making Caroline look wide-eyed as Rosie puts something on the bulletin board.

"This is mom's new diet. I've sent her papers to the best doctors and called them about appointments. I've set up a few including what she needs to be doing health-wise to save her energy and everything," Rosie tells Caroline making her more and more Rosie.

"Rosie you need some sleep and come on let's go," Caroline says trying to pull Rosie out of the kitchen but Rosie slaps her hand away shaking her head.

"No I have too much to do," Rosie says as she starts typing on her computer.

"Rosie please just for a little while," Caroline suggests but Rosie shakes her head ignoring him.

Caroline sighs as she walks out of the room and gets her phone dialing a familiar number

"Hey, it's Caroline. I need you to come over. It's Rosie," Caroline says as she looks at her sister concerned.

Knocking was heard on the door and Caroline sighed in relief going to answer the door.

"Where is she?" Damon asks as he walks inside still in his pajamas clear worry on his face.

"Kitchen she won't leave and is typing away while yelling at people on the phone," Caroline says as Damon nods and walks into the kitchen looking at Rosie with clear concern in his eyes.

"Cupcake," Damon says he walks up to Rosie who looks up at Damon and then looks back at the computer.

"What's going on? What can I do to help?" Damon asks as Rosie shakes her head.

"You can't help. No one can," Rosie says as Damon looks at her concern.

"My mom has cancer. She's dying and I didn't even realize it. I was in my perfect bubble with my mates and friends and didn't even realize what was going on. So no you can't help I have to do this. I can save her. I save everyone I can save her too," Rosie says as she continues typing on the computer.

Damon looks at her sadly before walking over to her. He pulls her up making Rosie confuse as he wraps his arms around her hugging her tightly to him.

"No Damon let me go," Rosie tells him as he just holds her to him.

"It's okay Rosie. Break," Damon tells her as Rosie shakes her head but Damon rubs her back as a sob comes out.

Damon holds Rosie tighter to him as she falls apart sobbing in his arms. He runs his hand up and down her back as she sobs her heart out.

Caroline watches them with tears in her eyes. Rosalie Forbes was the strongest person Caroline knew but she put the world on her shoulders.

Damon held Rosie as she sobs until she falls asleep in his arms. Lifting her up being careful he starts to go upstairs but stops in front of Caroline.

"Call my brother and Klaus. She'll need them when she wakes up," Damon says making Caroline nod as Damon walks upstairs with Rosie.

Carefully he lays her down and tucks her in as he lays on top of the covers.

Not even five minutes later the door was opened and there stood Klaus and Stefan both in pajamas looking between worried and half asleep.

They immediately head toward their soulmate as Damon gets up.

Klaus wraps his arms around Rosie's waist holding her tightly as Stefan wiped her dry tears away.

Damon looks at the three with a small smile. He knew she was in good hands now and with that, he left.
